Would it be justified to implement all this within a single regular taxonomy (Categories) of WordPress posts, i.e.

–Importance
—-Regular
—-Important
—-Premium

and then link a specific post, for example, to the subcategory “oil”, “USA” and “Regular”, or is it more practical to create custom taxonomies “Regions”, “Formats” and “Topics”?
News themes, as a rule, are working only with regular taxonomy of WordPress posts (Categories and Tags), and creating custom taxonomies may require the creation of new custom templates. Is it practical to use a single taxonomy for such a Newspaper-themed site?

Hi, I’ve recently made a few changes on my website thisissoccer.net (I added few articles, and changed menu structure) however, when I’m on the home page, I see only the old version. The new version is visible only when I go to a particluar category (for example Latest News). I also see the updated version when I’m logged in to WordPress.

A new problem has occurred on my website and it is a news site. So it’s a critical problem. On some of my devices at home, the site is displayed without any problems, but on some of my devices, I started not seeing the fields that were on the site, and when I asked my other friends about it, we realized that some fields were not visible on them either.

This is a new problem and not caused by any plugin. For example, in photo 1, the headline field that should be on the home page is not showing up, but when I click on TagDiv and the edit tab, I can see that the headline field is actually there. But this is not visible.

This is present in many areas of the site and I don’t know what the problem is. Everything was fine until a day ago and we haven’t made any critical changes for about 3 months.

Can you please help?

I would like to display properties with their local currency symbol. Is there a way to remove the theme’s use of currency symbol so that for example when a property is listed, the user can input the currency symbol and number to say “$450” or “£700” etc. in a text box and this will display on modules and listing posts?

I’m using a newspaper theme for the local news portal. The webpage is shown properly only on the bigger resolution displays. on the smaller monitors there is a cut on the right side of the webpage. AMP + MObile is enabled.

Just to clarify, i did check database encoding, it is ok, i did try switching theme, works fine.

When using the theme, some of the icons don’t seem to appear in frontend, even the theme default icons like arrows > <. For xample fontawesome icons work fine. Still dashboard and comments as on screenshot attached not, no error logs, i cannot understand the issue though.

I apologize in advance for questions that may seem obvious, as I am still very much a beginner. I am testing the Directory/Listing functionality of the Newspaper and have some questions:
Pre-Built Website “Job Hunt Pro”: during the selection of categories, the page completely refreshes and jitters, which is annoying. This happens both on the demo version and after the installation of the Pre-Built Website (pls watch one minute video attached).
Pre-Built Website “Real Estate Pro”: Similar situation, the page refreshes and jumps to the very top (focusing on the top part of the page, not the area where you make selections).
The above-described problem will definitely provide a negative customer experience, and from my experience with other websites, it should not be happening.
For example, on the TagDiv page of Pre-Built Websites TagDiv Prebuilt Website selection a similar selection feature is implemented, which works smoothly without page refreshing or jumping.

At the moment, the Newspaper theme version 9.1 is installed and used on my site. WordPress has been updated to version 6.4.4. Php version 7.4.33 is used on the hosting.
There are more and more problems with the old version, and in order not to deal with them, it would be nice to update the theme version. There is an opportunity to upgrade the php version on the hosting up to 8.3. WordPress will also be updated before updating the theme.

But I have a number of questions, as some points are unclear.
1) I bought the Newspaper version 9.1 theme 5-6 years ago or more. There is an activation key and it is applied to the theme on the site. But on the tabs of the theme settings, I do not see where it would be possible to update between versions or sub-versions from the administrative part of the theme. As shown in the tutorial on updating the theme. That is, I will most likely have to update the new version via Ftp. Tutorial I read how to do it.

2) To get the new version, will I have to pay for it in full, as a new separate product? That is, not as an update for an already purchased product at any discount or reduced cost, for example.

3) Will the activation key be new or will the old one remain, which is currently activated by the current version of the theme?

4) And I want to understand whether the update will solve the problems that currently exist with the theme and its plugins.
Currently, there is a vulnerability issue for new malware in older versions. Malware was encountered and something was partially defeated by making edits to the theme code, something was limited by banning the REST API for the site, since installing a clean WordPress and a clean theme did not bring results.
And periodically, the tagDiv Composer plugin is deactivated by itself. It occurs at different times of the day and with different frequency by day. I have not been able to detect dependence on anything.
Therefore, I would like to understand that updating to the latest version of the theme has fixes for these problems.
