You can have featured videos by using this:
1. Install this plugin: Featured Video Plus
2. Customize the plugin settings (width and height, loop, autoplay, etc)
3. Modify the article template file (I have used single_template_6.php for this example)
4. Add this code at the top of the page
$featured_video_plus = new featured_video_plus($post);
(for this example I added the code below this line: $td_mod_single = new td_module_single($post); )

7. Upload your video on your site and place the link in the plugin section of the article. You don’t need to use the video mode of the post. You can also add featured image to the article but as long as a video is added, the image will not be visible.

Is it possible make a page with various pages inside?
I try to explain:
Using visual composer to build a page I can insert Row, widgets, rows inside a row and so on.
Is it possible to interrupt the flow of widgets and insert as a separator a sort of “separator of page” link in MS word?
So I can have for example 5 widgets in column in first page, 5 widgets in column in second page, 5 widgets in column in third page and so on

I’m having a problem with the Slide element: when loading it shows the first slide correctly, and the second shows a blank space.
It happens both with Visual Composer in Newspaper 7 and with the new Tagdiv Composer in Newspaper 8, here is a screenshot. One example is https://www.calcionews24.com and another http://www.milannews24.com.

By default, this is the main theme’s behavior. If you will test our demo you will see that behavior. These are already clickable, sorry! If you do not have this behavior means that you have some problems with your theme. Try to disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please provide some examples with your problem and also, provide your website so I can inspect it closer.

I was about to push my website live, and made a mistake and unchecked the Activities in Buddypress and it brought my site down. I got the dreaded error 500 and could no longer access my site.
I then contacted Bluehost my domain provider and the tech was able to get me back in, but he told me that he had to de-activate all my plugins.
I was able to get in and view my site but when I click on the page where the content is it redirected me to “Coming Soon” page.
I then called Bluehost back and explained what was going on and they could not figure it out so they recommended that I do a restore from August.
The restore went fine but the paragraphs from the daily feeds are properly formatted.
This is an example below of one my feed page content that do not have spacing between the paragraph and prior to my website crashing the formatting worked great. I even modified the Newspaper child styles theme with this code, and it still will not fix the page spacing

This is one of my current pages exact formatting with no line breaks spacing between the paragraphs. Does any one have any ideas how I can fix this issue? By the way if I manually go into each post and insert a short code spacer that seems to work temporarily but only for that post, but since I get my website info from daily feeds the post would get deleted any way.

The content that is displayed can be filtered by category, tag, author etc. Many sorting options are present as well. This is meant for automatic dynamic of the pages. Specific posts can be displayed at all times for example, by adding post ID’s in the filter.

Those are the recommended sizes to be used for each header style. Only for header styles 9, 10 and 11 there is no size required, the logo is displayed in full.
The theme will not add anything to the image or process it in any way. It simply places the image in the logo container. Enter the exact image in a test post for example, and see if there are differences between them.

Hi,
Installing the demo with content will not remove or overwrite your existing content. It will import some dummy posts, categories, menus etc. These are meant to provide a structure for the demo to be displayed. They can then gradually be replaced with your own.
Installing the demo with no content, will import the demo custom design and theme panel settings.
You could install it like this, but in order to have a homepage like the mentioned demo, the same elements and layout have to be used in the homepage (same Full big grid, blocks etc) The custom design will apply only to the same elements like in the demo. For example the design on the Grid displayed on top differs from the default grid, it has custom design specific to that demo

I installed the theme, uploaded a demo and began to discover the Newspaper theme.
I’m facing an issue, probably because there’s something I don’t understand…
My website will have some timeless pages and some news. Usually on WP I use Pages for timeless stuff and Posts for news. But it seems that your theme is shaped in a way that Pages should be used for categories or sections etc., not for timeless content.
I noticed that the different designs (text + picture + …) are only available for Posts.
My worry is about the sections: if I use Posts for my timeless pages then I’ll have to use a category and I do not want to mix timeless pages and news under the same category.
My worry is also about SEO, if my timeless pages are shown like Posts (date, author, etc.) then Google push them up kicker in its index (great!) but also rank them lower after a few months/years. These pages should be timeless…
How could I solve it?

I had a post on my blog, using a youtube link as a “featured video”.
It plays fine, and on top of the blog details page, snapshot is generated fine, with a play button generated on top of the snapshot.
But in other sections for the snap shot, it only show a blank image with a play button on top. For example, in favorites section on right hand side of the page.
Is there a way to show a small sized snapshot with a play button overlay on top?

5. This might be a WordPress issue, but just incase you are able to help me: I would like four “News” subcategories for each parent category Music, TV, Movies, Toys. So the URLs for my posts would be “music/news”, “tv/news”, etc.
However, WordPress won’t allow me to create a duplicate “news” slug for each of the four parent categories. Are you aware of a way round this? A plugin, perhaps?
