Hi!

We’ve starting using the “Featured video” feature instead of inserting the YouTube embed-script in the posts.

Unfortunately, it seems that (quite randomly) some videos doesn’t show up at all and some show up blank (white space like a placeholder but no video).

As you can see, our videolinks are working properly by themselves, but now when used as featured video in the template.

How do we get this working?

Referring to the your document “How to make the site faster”, I was able to improve the pagespeed, but I’m unable to achieve this step “Remove render blocking css/js – using the TagDiv Speed Boosterplugin (Advanced Users)”

How can i create full width layout without header & footer like product intro page.

I want to show a skyscraper-ad on the left site. For this issue I created a div container and changed the custom css:

For the desktop-version this is no problem, but for Tablet Landscape & Tablet Portrait. So it is possible to deactivate the tablet versions?

The tablet version has also display errors with WooCommerce…

I’m not sure if this is an option in wordpress or the theme, but my website techmessage.com doesnt show author url properly. When i go to techsmessage.com/author/munira for example it will just redirect to the homepage. How do i fix this?

There’s different colour for big and small slides on slider when hover.
Please have a look:

1. When hover on big slide on slider, the font is no change, still white color

2. when hover on small slide on slider, the font changed to blue color

May I know how to change the font color using Custom CSS when hover on 1 & 2?

I stumbled upon a problem with the full width view (without sidebar). I want to use this view sometimes to show pictures full width.

In post edit I set the width of those image to original size. In this case this results in width="1258" height="944"

…but when I save the article and go the frontend (or preview) page I can see in the source the image has a width of 700px (while in post edit the code still says the image should have a width of 1258 pixels).

Can you help me out with this? Because I really need the image to go fullwidth. Otherwise it has no sense to disable the sidebar on this page.

sorry to bother again: I really like the Idea of your Ad-System in general and in special the Content Ads! Ads are very important for refinancing a website! So, this is a great feature!
Of course not every suggestion must make common sense: But I would really think it would make much sense to improve „usability/functionality“ of your Theme, if you implemented a Filter for your Content Ads System.

Problem:
The „Content Ads“ is a great feature! But having Ads inside the Content can also be:
1.) very distrcting for users (=> so you want for shure some pages, WITHOUT any Content Ads!!)
2.) you might have to adjust the ad to the content. For example you want to filter for specific words in the content and then show different ads. Or show no ads at all. Or target the Ad to the advertiser. (For example like content about death and you do not want to put ads at all into this context.)
3.) For a lot of Custom Content Types showing ads might not make sense at all: (for example a custom content type „Jobs-Offer“, that should not be cluttered with ads).
=> But currently you can only disable the Content Ads in general but not on a more finer level… This is very sad, as I really llike the feature but I can only completely disable it.

Solution:
The most easiest solutoin is (though there are other solutions more complicated, even options that might be added to your Admin-Panel) just simply having a filter Hook, that allows a developer to hook into and manipulte the ads (do not show ads at all or alter the AdCode. This is ONE line of code, but improvies your theme by a magnitude! Would be kind if you comment, what you thinkg about this idea!

Benefits (you can use for marketing)
-More Developer friendly
-Helps Newspaper become a real plattform, as it can easyly be extended
-Can really make the Ads System in general much much much better (one can implement filters, intelligent ad logic and so on)

This can of course be improved. I have not looked that much into your code… the above is the minimum to fulfill basic needs)
But with this one line I was able to change the working of your ad system in a lot of ways! This is of course just intended ad proposal, please change/improve it to your liking (I do not know your coding/naming standards …Its just the way I use it currently)
