Hello!

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want to the second column and consider it a sidebar.

Thank you!

My sidebar appears how I want it to on desktop.

I would like the sidebar to show at the bottom of the article on mobile devices.

When I turn off the mobile theme, the sidebar shows how I want it to on mobile. However, I don’t like the overall look and responsiveness on mobile when mobile theme is turned off.

It seems like the mobile theme overrides the settings & I’m not sure how to solve it.

Is there a way to the sidebar at the bottom of the screen with Mobile theme still on?

I currently control the sidebar through > cloud templates> single templates

Dear Support,

I am trying to create a Mega Menu for my website. I use the Max Mega Menu now, but i rather use native solutions for stability.

The problem I have now, is that I can’t exclude or choose categories I want to use. I run a review website around hifi gear and my categories are product segments. Therefore I have a pretty complicated category tree. With sometimes 15 sub-categories for a primary category (For example: Hifi–> Amplifiers –> Pre-amps / Power Amps / Integrated Amps / Headphone Amps / Etc, etc).

Is there a way to create a managable hierarchy in the Mega Menu?

Best regards and thank you,

Hi,

We want to use different payment gateway other than paypal & stripe to accept subscription payments on our website. Can we integrate other payment gateway through API or anything? Is it possible?

Please let us know if there is any possibility.

Thank You!

Hello @Bettina

Thanks for your help.

I didn’t get what you meant in your example.

But the question is, Would we be able to change in all the videos of the website the normal YouTube Player for the JW Player?

We use this video post theme: https://hola.tv/videos/realeza/asi-es-la-vida-de-sarah-ferguson-luego-de-su-cirugia-de-cancer-de-seno-hola-tv/

Do we need to edit the post video theme, right?

Thanks

Hello, I’m using the “media & text” standard block. When it stacks on mobile, the text below the image is very close to the image. There doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust the padding of the text or image for mobile only. Changing the margins/padding in tagdiv composer doesn’t do anything, as that adjusts for the entire block. I need to adjust for the image or text specifically, so they aren’t so close together. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do this in editor. Please let me know?

Thanks!

Megan

Hi Bettina!

No, it’s not alright. I increased the photo size so that all the text would fit, as a temporary fix. I have used TagDiv composer, I have tried centering and I have tried adjusting every single padding and margin option available. As you can see in the image you sent, the text lines are left aligned, not centered. For example, the “B” in “business” aligns directly under the “Y” in “your.” As a result, the end of “business” is very close to the edge, and not centered. Of course, I have also set the text to be centered. If you look on the desktop version, you can see the text is centered. But for some reason on the mobile version, it’s left-aligned.

Thanks!!

Best,

Megan

Hello @almyssilgado!

Unfortunately, this plugin is not tested with our theme.
You can use it, but take care for a future plugin conflict.
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. For example, in the step3 here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-cryptocurrency-price-ticker-widget/
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.

Thank you for understanding!

Hello!

We have some options in the tagdiv composer builder, and we’ve added many of them. For example: https://prnt.sc/Me9-Asx7CuHQ
Unfortunately, we do not have an automatic setting to do that.

Unfortunately, we do not have so many settings for the mobile theme plugin.
I recommend using the new cloud templates in order to achieve that.

Hello! I have the Social Icons element pre-installed in our footer as part of one of the Newspaper Themes we use. For some reason, instead of directing to social, each icon adds the page in view to the front of the address. For example, if you’re on this page:
https://rareparenting.com/books-for-children-about-disability
and you click the twitter icon in the footer, you are redirected to:
https://rareparenting.com/books-for-children-about-disability/www.twitter.com/rareparenting
instead of to the twitter page. Each icon adds the page in view to the front of the twitter address.

Can you explain how to fix this? Also, how do I update the twitter icon to the new “x” twitter logo?

Thank you!

Best,

Megan

I’ve tested again and same happend. I already flush cache, activated only tagdiv composer, same strange behaviour happening.
I think this might be related to the fact that it’s being used on Custom Post type page.

For example, in here you can see the pagination works well – https://gamingnovato.com/game/baldurs-gate-3/

But in here it does not – https://gamingnovato.com/?s=

Update: Did some more testing, and this is happening after I used the the option to filter single related from tag https://gemoo.com/tools/upload-video/share/553655976190017536?codeId=vz2EBnxZ52Ll9&card=553655971618226176&origin=videolinkgenerator

Hello. I’ve done some more testing and this seems to be happening only when I add a flex builder inside a tab shortcode.
Note: I’ve already tested everything only with tagdiv pluging enabled, cache flushed…

Video example inside tabbed shortcode: https://gemoo.com/tools/upload-video/share/553648038893314048?codeId=M038J7ol0agwR&card=553648034673844224&origin=videolinkgenerator (the block below is the same flex builder but it’s outside the tabbed shortcode, and as you can see it works perfectly.

I want to have 2 designs in 2 categories, for example,
category tools, all the posts on that category have one page design.
In category IA all the posts in that category have another design.

is it possible?
