Removing all the theme structured data can be done only manually, from the code itself. But this will have to be done again after a theme update, when the theme files are replaced.
Currently there is no setting to remove it all at once, but I will add this as a request on our list. An option for enable/disable the theme structured data will be considered.

Regarding the lazy load, the one the theme provides works only on pages at the moment. I tested the live theme demo, seems to say that it passes – http://prntscr.com/ocmmrk

The speed booster will help with render blocking, by moving the resources in the footer. This can be checked in the source of a page from the website. As a note, the booster will not be active if it detects active plugins that are not part of this list
http://prntscr.com/ocmok4
So for example – http://prntscr.com/ocmp3a
This check could be disabled if needed, like mentioned in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/

We have managed to recreate the disqus problem when the comments are closed, on our end. We will try to identify why this happens and what can be done about it. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Hello,

The code is working 100% and now position of ads is perfect, as well as, I fixed inline ads from the tutorial you provide me. Thank you very much, it was so helpful !

BUT STILL I HAVE THE SEARCH BUTTON ISSUE , THE BUTTON SHOW WHEN YOU ADD google xxxx.com/article/?amp

I mean in AMP pages, and the problem is 75% of my visitors use mobile so it is very important for me to fix this issue

Thank you.

Hi,

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.

Let me know if you have more questions!

Hello !

The official AMP plugin works only with Mobile Theme on Newspaper. Unfortunately the other option would be for you searching an amp plugin that allows you to integrate your ads into a theme. We cannot recommend any since we haven’t made any tests with another plugin to see if conflicts will appear.

We are sorry for the inconvenience !

Thank you !

Hi Vlad,
you can see it here from a real mobile device (iPhone in this case):
https://www.screencast.com/t/hLRxE7HByr69 -> turn to square -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nVRu4C5VEb8 (not centered anymore) -> turn back https://www.screencast.com/t/D63hQXTiPMZ (again not centered). The example ist from over here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/. The same issue is in any gallery on our page.
Thanks and best,

AMP plugin is working only on posts.
In pages al, I have created using composer is invisible.
How can I fix it?

mimicreature

That’s not the solution to the problem. The problem is that AMP ads are showing. When I access https://riansclub.com/?amp ads are showing. What that means that there is no issue with ads. Why the website is not redirecting to amp version in mobile.

Hello,

the images are attached to the post. I don´t use Yoast and that is why your solution don´t help me.

Some examples:

This is the post:

https://www.starsontv.com/team-ninja-warrior-die-fuenf-teams-heute-abend-bei-rtl-06-07/

And this is the attachment page of the images:

https://www.starsontv.com/team-ninja-warrior-die-fuenf-teams-heute-abend-bei-rtl-06-07/team-ninja-warrior-germany-5/

But when i´m in the original post and click on the thumbnail, the picture viewer starts but i am not directed to the attachment page, who exist.

What is the problem here? I don´t know.

Do you know? Can you help me?

Thanks and greetings from germany.

Hi,

That plugin has been removed, it will not work anymore with the latest theme version and future updates. There is a new plugin now with an example
https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/
We will update the documentation as soon as possible.

However I can’t say if there will be any future modifications in this matter, in coming updates. Remains to be seen. We are also working on a way to provide the same capabilities for the child theme as before the previous updates (prior to 9.7).

Thanks

Hi,

Currently the AMP plugin is not added in the exception list of the speed booster plugin. The list looks like this at the moment
http://prntscr.com/ocg9nd
This should be corrected in the next update.

If there are other plugins active and they are not part of that list, the speed booster will not be active.

If you want it to be active regardless of what plugins are active, try what is suggested in this topic by Bogdan – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Then it will be active at all times.

Thanks

Hi,

These are the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files -> https://www.screencast.com/t/juFaJLHpNxx1 The Official AMP for WP plugin is useful if you want to make your website to work on AMP version. For more details about that, please check the documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Thank you!

Hi,

Please note that the AMP version is different from the mobile version. Please note that AMP version comes when your possible users find your website on Google Search and come from there to your mobile version. Your website behavior is correct and the AMP functionality works as expected. For more information about AMP functionality, please check here -> https://blog.branch.io/accelerated-mobile-pages-what-is-amp-and-what-does-it-mean-for-your-mobile-business to know more details about how it works

Thank you!

Hello, when I bought the layout I saw that in the mobile version the site was as in image 1. However, when I install the complete demo on my site it appears in image 2.

Why this difference? I liked how it is in image 1 (same as what I bought).

I have several custom post types assigned to category, but they do not display on the category pages. I would think this would be a normal course of action, since the settings are there. How can I get them to display, without frankensteining the code?

Hey,

1. After updating the theme to 9.7.3 version, all the changes which I make in single-loop.php file for single posts template don’t apply from some reasons, it doesn’t matter if I change the child theme or the parent. Can you explain me which template file should I edit?

2. How to change the text “Modified Date” to “Updated on” here for example: https://www.screencast.com/t/7yqSSx1bL

Hi,

I have Newspaper 9.7.2 installed and have tried to follow this, https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/ to create a new version of block 9 in which I have custom code (for the purposes of the learning exercise i have called it block and module 77 as per the exercise).

The php for the shortcode is,

<?php

class td_block_77 extends td_block {

static function cssMedia( $res_ctx ) {

// fonts
$res_ctx->load_font_settings( ‘f_header’ );
$res_ctx->load_font_settings( ‘f_ajax’ );
$res_ctx->load_font_settings( ‘f_more’ );

// module 77 fonts
$res_ctx->load_font_settings( ‘m77f_title’ );
$res_ctx->load_font_settings( ‘m77f_cat’ );
$res_ctx->load_font_settings( ‘m77f_meta’ );

}

public function get_custom_css() {
// $unique_block_class – the unique class that is on the block. use this to target the specific instance via css
$unique_block_class = $this->block_uid . ‘_rand’;

$compiled_css = ”;

$raw_css =
“<style>

/* @f_header */
.$unique_block_class .td-block-title a,
.$unique_block_class .td-block-title span {
@f_header
}
/* @f_ajax */
.$unique_block_class .td-subcat-list a,
.$unique_block_class .td-subcat-dropdown span,
.$unique_block_class .td-subcat-dropdown a {
@f_ajax
}
/* @f_more */
.$unique_block_class .td-load-more-wrap a {
@f_more
}
/* @m77f_title */
.$unique_block_class .td_module_77 .entry-title {
@m77f_title
}
/* @m77f_cat */
.$unique_block_class .td_module_77 .td-post-category {
@m77f_cat
}
/* @m77f_meta */
.$unique_block_class .td_module_77 .td-module-meta-info,
.$unique_block_class .td_module_7 7.td-module-comments a {
@m77f_meta
}
</style>”;

$td_css_res_compiler = new td_css_res_compiler( $raw_css );
$td_css_res_compiler->load_settings( __CLASS__ . ‘::cssMedia’, $this->get_all_atts() );

$compiled_css .= $td_css_res_compiler->compile_css();

$td_current_column++;
}

$td_post_count++;
}
}
$buffy .= $td_block_layout->close_all_tags();
return $buffy;
}
}

And the php for the module is,

<?php

function __construct($post, $module_atts = array()) {
//run the parrent constructor
parent::__construct($post, $module_atts);
}

I have set up the folders as per the tutorial but am not sure where to pull the two CSS files needed that set out the style for Block 9.

NOTE: I also wish to create custom block versions for the Flex Blocks.

Please can you advise as to where these are located and if any additional considerations need to be made in view of the Envato-required changes.

Finally, another question. Given the change to follow Envato rules when I come to update to a new release version will this overwrite any custom blocks?

Thanks.

Best

Gary
