Hi,
That demo uses a footer page, not a template. You can edit the page just like any other page, with the composer. Use the shortcut here for example – http://prntscr.com/o3ptxp
Thanks
Hi,
The theme panel translations will apply in the mobile theme as well, for example
– http://prntscr.com/o3ppfq – http://prntscr.com/o3ppjn
– http://prntscr.com/o3ppto – http://prntscr.com/o3ppzl
Do you maybe use a translation or multilingual plugin? For example if you use WPML the theme panel translations will not be used – http://prntscr.com/o3pqzx
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe that widget is not compatible with AMP, you could check in the widget provider documentation if it supports AMP.
The icons display like that because of RTL, the design isn’t created for RTL unfortunately, so there will various issues. Try using a CSS code like this one to position the search icon to the left – http://prntscr.com/o3pf2c
.td-search-icon {
left:0;
right: auto;
}
Or you could remove it – http://prntscr.com/o3pfpl The code can be entered the code in the mobile theme custom CSS section.
Thanks
Thank you, I want to know if the proposed solution works with the mobile plugin & AMP
Hi,
Seems that the border radius setting is not working properly, I checked it on my end. I could give you a CSS code for it, until it is fixed. For example a code like this should work for it – http://prntscr.com/o3p76k you can modify the value as you want
.tdm_block_title_over_image .tds-title-over-image {
border-radius: 25px !important;
}
This code will affect all the title over image elements, but it can be made more specific by setting and using a class for the title over image elements you want it to apply, like in this example
– http://prntscr.com/o3p7w5 – http://prntscr.com/o3p83m
Sorry for the inconvenience, let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Thanks, Simion! I’ve rewritten all of the links as relative instead of absolute. While this is not a perfect solution, it’s a better solution for our client, so we’ll work with that for now.
If anyone runs into this in the future, rewriting absolute links like to relative targets like will work, it can just take a lot of time on a big site.
Can we perhaps get help from someone to help us understand how to diagnose this? For example, like a little start here help – where engineering can point us to at least the piece of code that this all occurs in so we can try and debug? This has been plaguing our site and creating a very unhappy customer base. Help me out by letting me know where the code is that would get triggered here. From there I’ll debug it and keep you guys in the loop. Maybe?
i change amp code and added responsive, great, here example:
but i see amp js url. what different ?
Your code:
<script async custom-element="amp-auto-ads" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-auto-ads-0.1.js"></script>
Adsense:
<script async custom-element="amp-ad" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-ad-0.1.js"></script>
Which one do I use? for fast and for good.
thanks

Just went live yesterday with Newspaper theme and got a notification on Google Search Console:
New AMP issues detected for site hatch-uk.org
To owner of hatch-uk.org,
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 4 new AMP related issues. This means that AMP may be negatively affected in Google Search results. We encourage you to fix these issues.
Top new issues found, ordered by number of affected pages:
The tag ‘BODY’ appears more than once in the document.
Only amp-boilerplate and amp-custom ‘style’ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.
Tag or text which is only allowed inside the body section found outside of the body section.
A mandatory AMP HTML tag is missing from this document.
Would be great to get suggestions for the solve and if anyone else has seen similar issues.
Good afternoon,
Does anyone know how I can put the “Post Grid” in mobiles for 2 columns?
I give you an example:
Post Grid OK in 6 columns in view PC:
The problem: in the responsive view you only see 1 column, and therefore the very large thumbnails … I want to at least show 6 columns or more:
Element used in the construction “Post Grid” :
Settings used in “Post Grid”:
I am trying to use the Newspaper (default) theme with the GeoDirectory plugin. That plugin has a custom post type called gd_place. It also has its own categories. I am confused on how I can integrate this custom post type into Newspaper.
I went into (Newspaper->Theme panel->CPT & Taxonomy->Custom post types). Under Custom post types, I saw the post type gd_place.
Then in (Pages->News–Front page->TAGDIV COMPOSER), I tried to modify the “block” right under (Trending now). I clicked on (Element->Filter). For the (Post Type), I added the gd_place. I then saved that and expected to see the posts of type gd_place. I had created one already. Instead I see (no posts).
Can you give me some advice about what I am doing incorrectly? Do I also need to modify some code to have this custom post type become visible?
Also, how can I integrate the categories in this plugin into Newspaper?
Hi,
From what I can see there is no problem when checking with their tool, either in the desktop version or the AMP version
– http://prntscr.com/o3eyuz – http://prntscr.com/o3ezft
AMP is valid and working as well. I checked a random post. Errors should appear there if there are any, but it seems there aren’t any from what I can see. Quite unusual.
Today i update the Newspaper theme. after updating the theme i can’t update required plugin from my dashboard & i see my full website broken
Hi,
You could give this code a try, with header style 11 instead – http://prntscr.com/o3ebz7 However this may cause problems in category pages and post pages, by overlapping the breadcrumbs for example. You could use it only in pages, or in the homepage
– https://pastebin.com/BKWJE6Xe
As it is now it will apply only in the homepage.
The theme has a page template that overlays the whole header over the content, like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_nature/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_spa/
Maybe you could use the overlay page template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Thanks
Hi,
For the moment there is no news about amp ads auto responsive
You can try to set the both code in amp ads and try different screens to see the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
AMP doesn’t support page builder content. The purpose of AMP is speed and simplicity in a way. If you use the mobile theme and AMP plugin, mobile pages are limited to the mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/o3e1sk
So despite the desktop page content, the mobile theme will show the simple mobile editor content, in the AMP version as well.
Thanks
Ok Simion, do I have disable the existing TD AMP plugin and install the new one. Would the transfer of AMP plugin could cause any AMP error?
You can by editing the plugin files and inserting the code there, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It may cause AMP validation issues, or design issues.
If you require more settings for AMP you could use a different AMP plugin, one that maybe has such settings by default. Some theme users are using this plugin
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/
From what I know it works alright with the theme, maybe you could give the free version a try.
Hi,
Some examples would be helpful. There are general translation settings in the theme panel, but there aren’t any specifically for mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
all the fields were translated at Theme Panel->Tranlations into russian but
in mobile theme there were still few untranslated parts, for example:
“no comments”, “latest articles”, “about us” etc.
Could the translation be done inside theme code somwhere?
As I understood there is special file for mobile theme translation named ru_RU.mo.
But how to change itexactly?
Thank you!
Hi,
From that section, you can change the source link to your logo. So, if you want to redirect the logo link from the homepage (which is set up by default) you will need to use a plugin for Redirect, like 301 Redirect, as an example.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Using mobile theme plugin with amp plugin you can set the ads inside the mobile theme and those will appear on amp plugin too.

Hello simion ,
yes you are right cause i have removed the code, now you can check the post in Mobile version and compair it with the AMP , there is a code placed at the end of the post ( list of hotels ) that is not showing in the AMP .
the other issue with Mobile version i just noticed , the search icon lay on the top of the menu icon ( mobile version ) how can I get rid of the search icon , or place it somewhere else?
this is the code ( <script async src=”//www.travelpayouts.com/blissey/scripts_en.js?categories=5stars&id=6666&type=compact&currency=rub&host=search.hotellook.com&marker=227691.&limit=10&powered_by=true” charset=”UTF-8″></script> )
Hi,
@mindfulifit After you install the demo you can begin to customize it. Set your own logos, menus, edit the pages and set the blocks and grids to display your own content etc.
Start from the top for example, with the header. Set your own logo and menu, configure the header with your own data. The homepage which is provided when the demo is installed with content can be edited with the tagDiv composer, each element in it can be customized
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Then move on the footer, replace the demo data with your own there as well. Here is the theme documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Also here is a similar topic – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/complete-novice-help/
If you need help or have more questions, please let me know. Provide as many details about it as possible, screenshots are also helpful or a link to the website.
Thanks
Hi Guys,
How would I change the button colour in certain posts?
As it is, all the buttons are set to my overall theme colour but I want them to stand out on certain blog posts.
Here’s an example: https://www.gardenseeker.com/reviews/machinery/best-robot-lawn-mower/
I want all the buttons in this article to be a different colour.
Can you help?
Thanks
