i have many websites runnig newspaper theme. after update yesterday all site run fine, also amp. but one site says this validation error:
The tag “noscript enclosure for boilerplate” exists several times in the document.
i cant find the problem, because all plugins are the same like other websites run with newspaper theme.
And I agree. Lately complicate the topic too lately. She is spending a lot of time with her. The results obtained are poor. In addition to AMP, there is a problem with the speed of the site. It has dropped in the last year from 90/85 to 50 for the desktop and 20 for mobile devices.
Good morning and thanks for the suggestion, but in AMP it does not go as it should. I’ll explain. The problem I had reported regarding javascript disappeared because I deactivated a copy protection plugin, but the malfunctions remain.
If I put the “classic” function on, the site works in AMP (without showing advertisements), while in the native and in the coupled one, the page view is horrible (like old html in the menu format). In practice, although I have installed tagDiv Mobile Theme, it is as if only the Automattic AMP plugin worked and the mobile theme did not exist at all. Among other things, now, with the update to version 9.6, using the tagDiv Mobile Theme I can not even use another plugin of AMP. Up to version 9.5 everything went perfectly (apart from that in AMP it was not possible to see the menu), but now I am forced, to make the site view on all mobile devices, to disable your AMP plugin. Do you have any idea how to deal with and solve the problem? Thanks for your attention and good work
Please make a tutorial (video if possible) on How to use AMP plugin without mobile theme (paired version). It will be a great help for many users like me.
I don’t want to use the mobile theme it doesn’t have auto post loading, and without mobile theme, amp paired version is not working.
tried to install the theme in MAMP and recieve message “The link you followed has expired.”

That will not be possible, if you update the theme to 9.6 the old plugin cannot be used anymore. Now the official AMP plugin can be used, integrated with the mobile theme plugin

So there will be a menu, custom code section, a spot for the AMP auto ads code, these are much requested options. Let us know if you have more questions.

When the mobile theme is active each page needs two versions, one for desktop created with the page builder or in any way possible in the theme, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor – http://prntscr.com/mtgao6
If no content is entered in the mobile editor the page will be empty on mobile. We will add a notice/message to be displayed in this case, as it is quite a common issue.
If you want the mobile theme to be integrated with the AMP plugin, it has to be activated in the theme panel

What you are seeing now is the default AMP look, without the mobile theme.

Please try with amp activate on other browsers too, is possible to have some extension for java script, also this can be a plugin conflict, maybe you are using some plugins for protect copy content, please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again.

After the last update, the amp pages do not work. There are a lot of mistakes. Not what entries look like on the attached screen. I am asking for help, because I can not imagine having a modern site without the AMP version, which is currently the required standard.

This may happen if you use an older theme version, so for example if you use a theme older than 4.3 it will most likely not work

Sorry for the inconveniences, there was a decision made to integrate the mobile theme with the official AMP plugin.
There were many requests to have a menu on AMP since the introduction of the AMP plugin, a section for adding the auto ads code directly in the theme panel (not by adding it in the plugin code each time the theme was updated), sections for adding custom code and a few others. So it was decided to use the official AMP plugin together with the mobile theme, which would be a better solution than a dedicated AMP plugin as before. The mobile theme is optimized for mobile for increased performance.
The official AMP plugin can be used by its own, and the mobile theme deactivated if you don’t want to use it. Or you could consider using a different AMP plugin altogether. Let us know if you have more questions.

If you are using the envato plugin for update is possible sometimes to not synchronize with the last updates and you’ll need to make the update manually.
We recommend to make first an update on localhost or on sub-domain and only after that to make it to the live website.
Also we recommend to make first a full backup to your website.
All settings in theme panel will remain, only the changes in theme files will be override.

If you do not like the AMP plugin from 9.6 because is integrate in mobile theme, you can use an AMP plugin like the one from WordPress Amp plugin
