Hi V3N0M,
The old theme functions was set in two plugins tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Composer, from these two plugins you can set the files under the wp-content/plugins/tagdiv-plugin/legacy/Newspaper in in child theme.
Noe if you want to edit the elements that are in tagDiv Cloud Library, these can not be set in child theme, for example changing this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_author_box.php will work only in theme plugins files and is a cloud element. Editing this file will work in child theme wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php
Hope this is make sens.
Hi Calin,
I have not yet fully understood the principle. Creating the Childtheme was no problem, but the Composer is a plugin, and the ‘Single Post Author Box’ is defined in the plugin. But I cannot overwrite plugins in a Childtheme or code elements for a plugin. Or can I?
I also extended the code in “wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php”, but it doesn’t seem to run. Does this file only serve as a base and must be compiled whenever changes are made? How can I tell the compiler that there are new changes? Even after removing and adding the module in the manager no changes are shown.

Hi V3N0M, this will not be so easy to do it since the changes from theme files are overwrite when you’ll update the theme, only the element that can be set in a child theme can be keep.
The standard file that is responsible for author box it is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php -> https://i.imgur.com/YiHzguY.png
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thanks for your fast response.
How can I create my own author box that will not be overwritten by an update? What are the requirements for the theme editor to recognize my file/template as an element and embed it into the template?
Is this the right guideline for my adaptation? => https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/

Hi infogate2020, maybe you can use a plugin like Edit Author Slug to display more authors.
Hi V3N0M, this is a cloud element, it is set in -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_author_box.php
Hope this will help you!
Hi Vlad,
Can you please tell me where I can find the HTML template for the box “Single Post Author Box”? I would like to customize it.
Br
Hi, I would like to remove the post views eye and the figure that shows up when you read a post, I would also like to remove the “next article” and “last article” buttons that are at the bottom of the article. I would like to remove the big author box that describes the author. And I would like to have only two colours (black and white) in my theme. I have done the needful in the Theme Panel but this did not work. I need a solution urgently. Thank you. Here is my website: https://bit.ly/2FhqYRW

Hi,
If you are referring to the element authors box from tagDiv Composer, then you can use this option to exclude/include -> https://i.imgur.com/Ooktbst.png unfortunately there is no option to set a number of authors that can be display.
Thank you!
I want to limit the number of authors shown in the Authors list box of tagdiv cloud components.
Hi!
I need to remove the author box and category box from the post both at home widgets and into de post itself.
I’ve searched older topics at the forum but found no answer.
I attach a screenshot with the boxes i want to remove highlighted.
Thanks

Hello
I would like to divide text of every post on my page like that (below the image):
1. First paragraph (lead) – bolded and also shown on the home site as an excerpt (below title of the post)
2. Advertisement
3. Rest of the post text
I think it should be done by one textbox for me to type title, another to type lead and another to type rest of the text. And then after publishing theme would automatically put in the indicated order (from top to the bottom): Title, date+author, photo, lead (bolded), advertisement, rest of the text. Is there an option to make it? Thank you in advance for any help.
I’ve checked it out, but it’s not a solution. I’m dealing with recent comments block, not the author box. Maybe that’s the reason
Hi jjest_jjest, you can achieve this whit some custom css too, for example you can check this similar link -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/remove-link-from-author-box/
Let me know the results!
Hi,
Yes, you can remove it, but first you need to check if you are using a standard post template or cloud.
For standard post template you can remove this author box using the options from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/IOHtOkB.png
For single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, you need to use tagDiv Composer to edit the cloud template and use the right click on the element you want to remove -> https://i.imgur.com/8yHchGa.png -> https://i.imgur.com/MU8V1dZ.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
When you fill in the instagram user profile name in the ‘Users’ profile page section of wordpress, the Author Box shows an Instagram Icon. The link there is broken, and sends you to a mysite.com/Instagram URL rather than instagram.
Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your answer.
I didn’t mean the more histories box (pop-up). What I meant is the option “more from author” related to the “related articles”. The tab that appears in the right hand side.
Is there any option to send you a screen capture for better reference?
Thanks
Sorry I am a tad confused by this. We are using single post templates. Nothing has changed in the way we build our posts. The author box still shows up, it is just missing the image now.
Hi,
I have gone onto the theme panel and changed my post settings (remove comments, remove author box etc.), however they are still active on the posts. Is there somewhere else I need to change it too? I cleared cache as well just in case that was the issue, thanks.
I removed the plugin from the sidebar and deleted it from my site .
I then went to the Show Author Box in Theme Panel and turned the toggle to Yes to show the Author Box and saved settings. When i went to my site to check the Authour Box didn’t show so i went back to Theme Panel and i noticed the toggle had turned to Off on Show Author Box.
This keeps happening….
Hi Calin.
Well, what I want to help me or give me some clue on how to search is on the web. I gave you previously as an example is in the photo box, that the legend and the author of the photo appear, how to find the plugin or name to install it. and see it if.
In the screenshot, I mark you with the box and the author’s box, I have searched but I did not find a plugin, I do not know if it is not to be searched or how to search for it or under what name should I search for it.
Hi Calin, I have a problem and a concern.
The problem is that I have looked for all sides of the page that I mentioned earlier to be able to show both the black and transparent background legend and the author in the photo, I know there is but I have not been able to find it, for this reason I request your help and it may be that do not look for the correct words to help him, you could guide me.
I attach the screenshots of the screen and the web where I have seen it.
The concern is that I do not remember where in our tutorial somewhere it said that the LightBox option was executed automatically and it is not correct, I have to activate it from the module builder, if I do not activate it, it does not do it automatically. you can guide me. or is there a module or plugin that does it?

How do I get rid of the author box at the end of my post?
Hi
I’ve added the [tagdiv] Author Box to the sidebar but it’s not showing the authors name for each individual article
If i add my name for instance in the Authors slug it will show my details on the site but i don’t write all the articles on my site.
Shouldn’t the widget just pick up the authors name and post thei rpic and profile automatically or am i missing something in the initial setup ?
Do you know how i amend this ?
