Thanks for the answer, but that is a time parameter, so the data is the last published and not the most viewed, it is based on the number of times an entry has been seen, that parameter is not provided by the filter, I thought Strange that a theme based on a newspaper does not bring that important parameter, I understand that you cannot create a table of the most viewed with the newspaper theme unless you use a third-party plugin or do it through php, right?
In the case of the “flex block 1” option where it says popular (jetpack + stats modules required) which plugin is it?

I have tried to insert this in my column title:

But I loose the font style of my text as my code seems to override the css of the block and that is something I would really like to preserve.

Hi there guys – I’m a first time user of Newspaper and I’m beginning to get to grips with just how powerful the system is that you’ve created.
I have a query for you on the WordPress Editor – when you’re creating posts. It seems that there’s a stylesheet change applied to the editor and I’m trying to locate how, all of a sudden, blockquotes have turned to blue and CAPS.
This is the current editor with Newspaper theme enabled (link to imgurl).
This is the original editor, which I find a lot easier to compose in – because there’s no huge blue capitalized writing! (link to imgurl)
Do you have any ideas how I can reset/change the styles for this?

Well, I think I don’t make myself understand. I want to know if the theme has the “most read” block option, in case it has that option that I don’t see, how can I mount the block on the main page, as in the other newspaper themes that I attach.
I can’t send a screenshot because I don’t know if it has that option or if it doesn’t, if it has to be done manually by php or html or is it a wordpress plugin.

Which post type is set for the search and flex block? If you want to search a CPT, then you should specify the name of your CPT in the post type option (search and flex block element).

The search page results works fine with the post loop.
When I try the flex block with the option to display current search, nothing shows.
If I put a category it displays fine.
I would like to use the flex block to display the search results in order to create a custom filter (sort via old/new) via the flex loop sorting option element.
Am I doing something wrong that the flex block does not display the search result?

Because the technical part of a website is very important in indexing in google news and discover, I want to ask some questions to the owners of websites (and tag div teams) that use newspapers and are successful in google news and discover.
1. What seo plugin do you use? I oscillate between Yoast SEO and Rank Math. (PRO Variant)
2. What type of structured data do you use? Article/NewsArticle/BlogPost, etc.
3. What speed optimization plugins do you use without disturbing the way google bot or visitors access the site? (Sometimes delaying the js, combining or optimizing the css can improve the page score in web vitals, but google or the visitors will suffer, so the site will also decrease in traffic + exposure)
4. What blocks do you use? For example, it could be a ranking factor in google news and discover the way we choose to present our content on the website, and the newspaper tag div has a lot of blocks, which do you use and do you get the best results?
5. What other plugins or elements do you use in single post and do they help you?

If a post has only one primary category and no other category selected while you edit the post with Gutenberg, then it shouldn’t display if you filter another category.
Check the settings of that block in that category (edit it with the tagdiv composer) and make sure it is using the current category filter and not all category filters.

Because there are some elements for the category template and another for the tag template, I recommend you copy and paste the style for blocks (Flex Block, Big Grid/Posts Loop).

That’s not really helping. A Sidebar in WordPress stays the same on every page what I want is to change the sidebar in one place and apply the changes to the entire website at once, like how WordPress Sidebars work. I guess I can only copy/paste the blocks on every page manually instead?

How do i change the default block color style in Scandal?
In Theme Panel > Block Settings > Block Predefine Style, it appears Scandal is using “Style 4 – Yellow”. I want to use “Style 1 – Red”.
How do I change it? I want all those yellow boxes on the demo home page to be the red style.
Can’t find a global default option changer anywhere.
