Hi! I installed a pro theme life news and filled it with new posts. But I don’t understand why the mobile version for tablets and smartphones does not look on my website (http://bali.click/) like it looks on the demo website (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_life_news/). There’s only the column with teasers of the last news reflected on my website. But on the demo website there are all the blocks with different formatting.
Have I done something wrong during the process of installation? Not installed some important functions? Or I need somehow to build the tablet and mobile version from scratch by myself?
To be honest the way the mobile version looks was one of the criteria for me to choose this exact theme. Very sad that it does not work properly.
Hello!
Edit that post with TagDiv Composer, click on your blockquote or the element that you want to change the color and from the element’s settings you should be able to set the color you want there.
Thank you!
I need the font size of the blockquote to be just a little bit bigger than the normal text of the article

I need to change the font size and color of H1 and I can’t. I have only been able to change h2, h3 … h6.
I also need to change the font size of blockquote, I have only been able to change the color and font family.

Could you explain how to do it?
Hi,
This problem can be from the firewall or security module which blocks admin-ajax.php request. Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module which blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi, I created a “Podcast” post block on the homepage.
I have successfully set up posts with SoundCloud.
On the homepage you can see the title of the post above the SoundCloud audio player. Is it possible to remove the link only on this post title?
That way, only the player and the title of the non-clickable post would remain (the podcast is already listenable on the current page, I don’t need anything else).
Thank you.
Too bad it’s not available on Gutenberg.
I can try to replace the shortcode for the “Gallery” block with that of the “tagDiv Slide Gallery”.
This way when a Gallery block is created (with Gutenberg) a category with “tagDiv Slide Gallery” is automatically created.
Do you think this is possible?
I work for a site with many publishers. I don’t want to change their method of publishing Galleries.
Thank you
Hello,
That message is from google pagespeed and in order to solve it, you must use some extra plugins to optimize your website => https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-render-blocking-javascript-and-css-in-wordpress/
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Hi
I have an issue with the editor of template that does recognize create templates.
Here is my actions :
Cloud Templates -> Add New
Select a template like “Footer – Arette PRO”
Click on Save template
Redirected to the TagDiv Composer
Click on Save in TagDiv composer
Click on Close
Then when coming back to the Cloud Templates list
The template is here but the menu only offer : Edit | Trash | View | Duplicate and not “Edit with TagDiv Composer”
The choice is however proposed on previous templates created a few hours ago
I tried to copy paste code from a working template to a non working one (tdc_zone block), but even if the code is identical, the editor choice is not present
Could you please tell me what is the change to do to correct the issue ?
Thanks
i’m following the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/ but where is described:
“Content area – This section allows you to add or change color for posts (title, blocks, author name, text, blockquote, and H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Color) and pages (title, text and H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Color).”
I cannot understand why all the settings are black, and on my site the title on the modules are colored in violet!
(using the demo pulse pro)
Hello,
Is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks admin-ajax.php request. Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
To fix this you need to check the security to have and also, ask your host about security modules/plugins, firewall, Wordfence.
Also, please make a test with PHP version 7.3
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– wp-admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria
I bought the last version and updated it.
The top appears ok, but the homepage blocks arer replicated and in the middle includes any page i create in “pages” section of wordpress as you can see. The error if i try to edit it is:
“Errors at columns elements: 2(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
I created an administrator user and send to the email you told me
Thanks
Hello !
Depends on the modules you are using. As mentioned above and mentioned by you, a 16:9 Ratio – 1920x1080p will do the job very well. Please note that in flex blocks you can adjust the thumbs in case of any unpleasant crops. If that doesn’t work we can try a css code if you are looking to reach a certain look on your elements.
If you are having any issues on your website send us a link to your website and mention which element is not working as you would like and we can take a look.
Thank you !
Hi,
if I set the Primary category “auto select a category” based on what criteria is it set?
I thought that the category with the most posts is automatically set, but it isn’t.
I would like to set the category with more posts.
I have created many categories as “featured” in order to better manage the order of the posts on the homepage (I use many post blocks with multi categories).
Thank you
Hello Calin, sorry you can address me as Richard, PFC is simply the acronym for the charity that owns the license.
Environment: Multipress WordPress with 12 sites, each site is a separate language version of the main site.
Here’s the issue explained in much greater detail:
I’ve manually injected pages and even manually translated block names ect… No issues, all restore as I want.
Same with widgets, including translations for them. No issues. All restore as I want.
It is ONLY the main theme settings that have an issue!
Injecting td_011 and/or td_011_settings does NOTHING! Like the OP found and first reported. Even injecting every newspaper-related field from wp_options back into the database does nothing for the colours, logo’s etc… It’s as if I never set these options. (except it’s clearly in the database, and snapshot dates show in theme panel, but not useable/clickable) the front page is just black and white.
SQL query “WHERE option_name LIKE ‘%td_%'” will give you all the table entries. See Appendix.
I am doing them all, including transients, caches, you name it ANYTHING tagdev related is recovered back into the database on the same domain, same version. I did them all as I wasn’t getting anywhere with just td_011 and td_011_settings. Recovering an exact 1:1 of all your database stored data should work.
So I make all the changes in my little dev-clone and I manually export all the table options I need (see appendix), re-importing these back into a new clone does nothing (see method), only when I use the theme panel importer tool does it work and logo’s colours ect… all show properly? (I had an older copy of the export hash)
It seems you know why, as you’ve stated it MUST be done through the exporter/importer when the OP said he couldn’t recover td_011_settings.
A 1:1 copy of all the database data related to Newspaper should theoretically just work, mitigating the need to use the importer tool.
Here are some questions:
1) what’s the difference between td_011 and td_011_settings, I think td_011 is a store of what’s active or not active in the themes state, plugins, demo’s et al. There seems to be some duplication of data within both fields.
2) Why will recovered td_011 and td_011_settings exactly as is via the database directly not work unless base64 encoded and put through your importer?
3) Since Tagdev is actively supporting further third-party development via an API, could an import/export endpoint please, be made in the future? We need a programmatical method.
4) I wanted to streamline the development and efficiency of not storing multiple copies of the same logos/assets in each subsite independently. So I made an images folder in the child theme and put the exact url to get this media in the theme settings. WARNING: It doesn’t work, clearly you must be using wp_posts ID somewhere. This needs to be made known as its more common practice to do as I was attempting.
5) td_011_settings is an autoload field, yet has all copies of the settings (backups/snaphosts), within this same field as just another index of an array in the serial blob. This is horribly inefficient for a user’s system. Why not just create a backups field like td_011_snapshots and pop an array in there without autoload set. (this has been mentioned before)
To others reading this: Autoload means it will load on every page load each time a database call is made to construct any page. If you have 10 backups, it’s now loading 10x the amount of data on every page load with 90% being completely unnecessary and redundant. It doesn’t matter if it’s 30KB, 300KB, or 1.3MB. This really should be addressed in my opinion.
I love your theme, it’s the best-selling theme of its kind for a reason. What am I possibly missing that stops a recovery of theme settings via the database directly actually working without the importer tool? I am I possibly missing a fieldname from the appendix?
Thank you for your time and response. It will be appreciated by more than just me that I am sure of.
Method:
1) Creating a local clone of live site, sed replacing old_domain with new_domain on sql dump prior to import. (new working clone)
2) Manually copying over theme files and child theme files, plugin files.
3) Activate and enable network-wide the theme plugins using wp-cli
4) Activate and enable network-wide the child theme using wp-cli
5) Ensure that needed media is imported into the system via wp-cli and that media names and uri’s match within database table entries (see appendix)
6) Inject all database table entries for tagdev stuff from the prior development cycle.
7) use wp-cli to restore widgets information
Pages on all subsites work beautifully, Widgets show correctly, just the colours, logo’s are missing! If I manually reimport using your importer on every subsite everything works like magic. It’s not missing media as they’re already imported and waiting.

Is there a way with this theme to block the users ability to download photos that we have published on the site?
Hi, I’ve created a homepage template.
I set a column with background color and activated the “sticky”.
I have this problem you see in this video:
https://gofile.io/d/58wysU
After scrolling, the background disappears. And it reappears only if you go back to the page.
The post blocks are both “Flex Block 1”.
The column is unique (there are no two columns).
I await support.
Thank you
Hi, I noticed that it is possible to enable “LightBox” for images within a post.
If I have multiple image blocks it is very useful. Great feature (also to avoid image slide plugins in posts).
It appears that this function is not available for “Gallery” blocks, where it could be very useful in the same way as the “Image” block. Why?
Is it possible to activate this function (also via php code or other) for the Gallery?
Is it possible to activate this function by default (without having to activate it for each post “image” block)?
Thanks for support
Hi, I’m using the “Summer pro” post layout.
On the right sidebar I have “flex block 1” with the last 3 posts of the “current category”.
The problem is that I also see the current post.
So, if I see the last post from the “sports” section, there will be the same post on the right sidebar.
I can’t set an offset, because the problem is dynamic (it shows up with the last post or even with the last second post, etc.)
I await support.
Thank you
hello Anamaria, I want to know what is the best way to eliminate render-blocking resources?
Thanks
I am using flex block 1. Added my post id to “post id filter” but it often shows up as no post. This happened to me many times on my other sites as well. For some posts it works, some posts it doesn’t. please see the screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/PkKddA7
Thanks
I can see that the “flex block 3” uses two different ratios by default:
218×150 (1.45 ratio)
485×360 (1.347 ratio)
The standard article post use (696×0) so this means it will be stretched/shrunk to 696 and original picture ratio maintained.
The posts loop also says (696×0) but that is not true when you look at the final result. On the screen is is 2×1 (2 ratio) so they are stretched/cut differently to fit the box here.
So all this seems very chaotic to me. I am not sure how to setup the different modules. It looks to be like a 16:9 ratio will work quite well overall since it is somewhere in the middle for for all the module defaults.
Any other input on how to manage the picture gallery and settings for the different pages would be great! I would like to be as close to the optimum for each used picture of course.
Hi everyone,
I can’t edit my home page, keep getting this error:

Hello,
Please try this code
.td-scroll-up {
display: inline-block;
}
The code needs to be set in Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/fxetQe24ZHf
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
You can change the color with tagDiv Composer on the “next prev” select the block, and in the tab called “Style” are settings for pagination => https://www.screencast.com/t/EVaCkL1Syu -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GCZ9b9El
The back to top arrow can be changed only using CSS code. For example, if you want to remove that arrow you can use this CSS code:
.td-scroll-up {
display:none;
}
Set this code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom css.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
