One more question
Can i use tags instead of categories in the flex filtr for flex blocks?

Hello,
You can try to set the post type here -> https://i.imgur.com/RDymowz.png; this way, it should be displayed on the flex block of post type events. You can check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-post-types-the-events-calendar/
Thank you!
Hello!
You can create a custom module and use this shortcode like this: https://app.screencast.com/Xyl387KhMd1LT to display the tags of the article in a block.
More info here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/
In the Single Templates, use this shortcode Single Post Tags to display the tags.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, the flex blocks have an excerpt option. This option is not available for the Big Grid flex.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can set a featured image for each post here https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video-7/
So if the posts don’t have the featured image, then they will display a blank thumb; you can set a placeholder.
You can set a Placeholder in Theme Panel -> Blocks Settings -> https://i.imgur.com/mo0Cbu2.png
Thank you!
Hi,
That is possible. You could use the default widgets sidebar or create new ones. New sidebars can be created from multiple places, for example from the theme panel per category options https://prnt.sc/pgAakghfSN4E
All your sidebars can be customized in the widgets panel https://prnt.sc/sPqjg2lJM25u and there you can add widgets inside them.
To display the recent articles, you could use a theme block of your choosing https://prnt.sc/j16if_AcdbBp Add it in the sidebar https://prnt.sc/hzfSjVIZzVvK and by default it will display the latest articles from all categories https://prnt.sc/00xqruAL3nog
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thank you!
There is no option in the media library to set images to full size. Maybe I am missing something. Would you be able to tell me how I can upload them in full-size. The actual size of the images doesn’t seem to make a difference. There are several that have the same dimensions, some of them appear blurry, others don’t. Also, the images in the mega menu are smaller than in the article, so why would they appear blurry? By the way, I have the same problem when using the Ad Block.
Hello Bettina,
Yes, that’s exactly what I want, but when I add “Inner Row” to my sidebar, I don’t understand what settings I need to make…
In my sidebar I have a “popular articles” block, followed by a “latest articles” block and finally an ad (“Ad box”) and I want only the latter to be sticky, the rest being longer.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Actually after playing around with the different blocks I realized that only certain blocks can have excerpts!
Thanks 🙂
Hello!
Try to hide the block in the mobile viewport: https://app.screencast.com/H8uV0fYFglNKt
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m trying to do the same thing, put the last widget of the sidebar in sticky.
I tried adding an inner row and set the inner column sticky to have only that block but it doesn’t work.
Do you have a solution that works?
Thanks in advance for your help

Hello,
We do not recommend setting two posts loop on the same page/template, because most of the settings from the first loop element will be set for the second one.
A workaround is to use flex blocks, and set the ads after each flex block and using the offset option -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
For flex block, you should choose the current category“: Category – Current category ”special filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
The options from theme panel are not applied to the cloud templates. You need to edit the template with tagdiv Composer and in the tab layout you can hide the category -> https://i.imgur.com/cKtGgZ8.png
Also, for each category, on the flex block there is a special filter for the current category, which dynamically displays the posts from that category within each category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category) https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/
Thank you!
Hello,
What are your settings on the blocks? Did you set the post type of your courses? Here are some posts https://i.imgur.com/VqH8N2O.png -> https://i.imgur.com/WA5o594.png
Thank you!
Thank you, sir. I fixed the issue after changing the hosting. The error was due to the old server blocking outgoing requests—I’m not sure why.
Anyway, does the theme support RTL?
Regards
Hello,
I recommend using a Flex Block, because there will be more options for images -> https://i.imgur.com/E2YELeJ.jpeg
Thank you!
I use Block 5 in https://fiablaquila.it/ with column title “Il prossimo evento” visible also at https://is.gd/HL9J85.
Why the post image is shown blurred? How do I show it correctly?
Thank you
Hello,
Unfortunately no. I recommend using flex blocks and cloud templates.
Thank you!
Hello Annamaria,
Thanks for the very fast answer.
I tried with both PHP version 8.0 and 8.1 the very same error persists.
Meanwhile I also tried with other prebuild websites, for example with “DEFAULT PRO”, the very same error occurs. , so this is a more general issue. I also carefully read the other thread you linked https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-at-zones-6models-1dom-the-model-does-not-match-the-content-currene/, but unfortunately there are no steps to follow there and also there is no solution described there 🙁
I am using official WordPress docker images, so any developer on your side can spin up exactly that image and reproduce the error:
– wordpress:6.7.1-php8.3-apache
or as you recommended:
– wordpress:6.7.1-php8.1-apache
– wordpress:php8.0-apache
For detailed diagnostics, all my experiences are on freshly installed images, with no other themes and plugins.

Hello Anamaria,
I am using block 11 to display posts, is there a way to insert ads into the lines of block 11? (like the old way of adding code to loop.php). I tried with “Posts loop” but it needs too much tweaking to get the same look as block 11.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can edit the page with tagdiv Composer. Unfortunately, using the theme panel, you can not change them. We have long been recommending the use of cloud templates and flex blocks because the templates and blocks from the standard pack are outdated, just like the tagDiv standard pack plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
To display your custom fields, you need to create modules. You cannot show custom-filed information on the flex blocks and posts loop.
Thank you!
I want to know the hook name thats just show/print your custom content in loop

Hello,
You can set the h1 on the logo; in this case, it will appear on all pages and posts. You can disable it and set in on the other element https://i.imgur.com/AlJNOoB.png
You can set the heading on the title of the blocks in the post content section wherever you want -> https://i.imgur.com/xEBUzFU.png
Thank you!
