Hi,

Do you use a cache plugin? if you do clear it and check if the issue is still there. Also try to disable all plugins except for Visual Composer and check again.
If this doesn’t help please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com , paste a link to this conversation and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’ve tested your image without stretching as default: http://screencast.com/t/URQYRbn4c and found no issues, it worked as expected: http://screencast.com/t/36BnmawD Stretch an tiled options also work fine so I suspect this is happening due to a plugin you use. Please make sure that you also test this without any plugins active, leave just the VC plugin active and test again. Make sure you also empty caches.

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks

With 1Mb ram vps server, I have MySQL Query Cache configured to 16mb.
Is it advisable to increment it to 32Mb?

Did you try to disable the cache ?

Hi Chris! I tried it, same error! But again, only when Speed Booster is activated.

Deleted all page cache and Chrome. Also tried with different browsers and PCs.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you very much!

Try putting your CSS at bottom of the style.css so it loads AFTER and replaces the default CSS, but inline with the CSS loading. At least that is what I do.

And be sure to clear all your caching once you make this change including browser cache (which you have to do manually in Chrome to ‘really’ clear it).

Hi

I’ve tested the theme with WP Super Cache plugin installed and the date work fine. Try to clear the cache, deactivate all plugins and test again. Make sure you’re using the WP Super Cache plugin with the default settings.

Thanks!

Hi

The theme should display fine google ads as it tested, but notice that we didn’t do any test with plugins that insert ads on sites, so it’s possible to appear some issues. On your site google ads are not inserted by the theme so you can try use our ads system and see how it goes, you can also check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-system-full-guide/ If the problem persist try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear the cache ant test again.

To improve the page speed you can check our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-speed-guide/ but now we recommend WP Super Cache as cache plugin because it’s more easy to use by the user, use it with default settings.

Hope this help.

Thanks!

Hi

That seems to be a css problem and can be caused by some plugin that overwrite the theme css, so you can try deactivating all plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and test again.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide a link so i can inspect it closer.

Thanks!

Yes, your demo works, but suddenly my site as well. WTF… I spend more than an hour yesterday trying to solve it. Dunno what to say, except sorry 🙂 Must have been some temporary IE hickup, or cache thing or something (although I tried clearing cache yesterday). Well, it seems to be allright now.

Thanks for your reply anyway!

Hi,

We have approached this subject many times since last year, yet we haven’t managed to find the right implementation for this to also work with cache and without damaging or crashing servers on sites with high traffic. We had reports regarding this implementation so this is not an option.

At the moment we are considering using Jetpack’s plugin statistics which are held on their servers however this is still under discussion we don’t have yet any certainty that it can be done and we still have to document in this regard.
When we will have a certain answer on this we will update this tread and if we can’t make it work properly we will announce this and consider removing this sorting option.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for your messages and or understating!

Hi,

I’ve checked your link and now it looks fine – http://screencast.com/t/Jq9IOTP0SoKA
Try to clear the cache on your browser and see if it looks the same on your side.

Thank you!

Which Cache Plugins Do You Use and WHY?

Hi Emil,

I have deleted WP Super Cache and nothing has changed.

I also went back to themeforest, downloaded the theme files, and uploaded the author.php file directly from themeforest…still having issues.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Here’s an author page http://eaglenews.org/author/madison-hampton/

Hi

If you turn off related article from here http://screencast.com/t/jnzTQFg0PNB it should not be displayed. Make sure you clear all caches, and also disable the plugins except Visual Composer and test again.
Let us know if yous still can’t disable it and also provide your site’s url.

Thanks

I think since I installed WP Super Cache the date on the top bar of the header is not correct. This occurs on every page.

Site.

@TheRiz – That’s exactly what I did without losing any settings. I turned off Cache then dragged/dropped and uploaded.

I did mine around 3AM last night since that is when traffic is at its lowest. But I had no issues.

Hi

We tested the theme on IE and should work fine, so it’s possible to have a plugin that overwrite the theme css in that browser. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear the cache ant test again. If the problem persist try this custom css in theme panel > custom css:

.ie8 .td-header-main-menu, .ie9 .td-header-main-menu, .ie10 .td-header-main-menu, .ie11 .td-header-main-menu{
background-color: red;
}

This css works on IE 8, 9, 10, 11 and you can set any background color.

Thanks!
