Hello everyone!

I’m experiencing bizarre behaviour when adding new rows (with content in them) to any page; it duplicates at the bottom of all other pages.

I have the following setup:
– Fresh WordPress installation (Siteground)
– Newspaper theme + full Interior Designer demo
– Activated child theme

What I have already tried:
– Deactivated all unrelated plugins
– Deactivated child theme
– Cleared cache

I would appreciate suggestions on what else I can try to fix this.

Thank you!

Hello @dacorti!

I can see that your homepage works perfectly (desktop and mobile).
Please delete all the caches and see the changes.
Which browser do you use to check it?

Thank you!

I just did it again then cleared the cache and the problem is almost solved, thank you !

One think left though, I still don’t know where to edit the “Contact us” contained in the mobile footer generated by the ##siteurl## ?

Thank you anyway 🙂

Hello!

Make sure you change the font for every element, clear all the cache and see the results. Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Please make sure you use the latest update of the theme and plugins.

Thank you!

Hello!

I’m not sure which fonts you are using in addition. But the woff file is from our theme only: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you!

For all WP Optimize users, just change a setting in the plugin:
Under Cache >> Advanced settings, enter text ‘is_front_page’ (without ”) in Section “Conditional tags to exclude from caching”
That works fine!

See also the WordPress Developer pages @ https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_front_page/

Hi – I am not able to get the appearance of the mobile menu module to show properly on mobile devices. See screenshots below. The mobile device does not display the font changes that are visible on the tagdiv composer. I have tried clearing cache etc.

Hello,
I have created a mobile page (created from then desktop page), which is also displayed correctly on the desktop. However, the previous, automatically created version still appears on the mobile. The cache has been deleted.

What could be the reason for this?

Thanks in advance
Thomas

Hi,

For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin; if they are, author links will be redirected to the homepage. Check if that is the case: http://prntscr.com/mbwwuk -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/ after that clear all cache, purge CDN(if you are using) and check the results.

Thank you!

Hello!

Please make sure you have all the tagdiv plugins installed and activated from Newspaper -> Plugins.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. That’s why we recommend first deactivating ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.

Thank you!

Hello,

I think that the plugin has an object cache option, which is why it works when you are logged in.
We recommend Super cache -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also, you can use WP Rocket.

Thank you!

ISSUE SOLVED: Redis Object Cache cause of issue in case you need to flag that plugin. I was not aware it had been installed on the server changeover.

Hi Anamaria,
Yes the issue is the cache function of WP Optimize.
If the cache plugin is causing this, why does the random display function work well if I am logged in backoffice (with caching active)?
Can you suggest another cache plugin that will do the job, or should I just use the cache function of Newspaper itself only?

haha, the cache was solved, I purged all the caches from WordPress and that’s it.

Hello,

Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; also, if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.

Thank you!
