Hello Mihael Sanko,
Please try to purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system, clear server caches for your dedicated server and if you do not have any access to do it, please request this to your hosting provider and use only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and not untested plugins to rule out the conflicting between plugins. However, if your problem is still there, please make a new clean install from scratch and check the results. Our theme is fully tested with mobile theme plugin and should not appear any issue in this regard because it work as properly.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
It seems to work fine on our end: http://screencast.com/t/4xBeM6zUXqM
Please test our demo version as well and see if the problem is still there: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-the-new-screen-savers-the-show-that-launched-video-into-the-stratosphere/
Your site provides the error, yes, which means there is something on your side that is affecting it. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also if you have any custom code added, restore the theme to it;s default values. If you use a child theme, please activate the main theme and test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then set your background to scroll and test again. There could be a plugin conflict affecting it.
If the problem is still there, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect the issue.
Thank you!
And what are these social icons? are they the ones from our theme? are they other plugins? We do not get these errors on our end so we cannot recreate this issue and thus, we cannot know where they come from. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. Then test again and see if you still get 404 errors.
Thank you!
Hello OverPress,
I have checked your source page and I have noticed that you are using the child theme, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/iUfmfcZUnbN6 First of all, please try to switch the theme to the main theme, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system, clear server cache (if you do not have any access to this process you will have to request it to your hosting provider). Also, if you want to use the Child theme, please notice that you will have to use the latest version of it which come bundled with the theme. Please try to do all of these steps and then try to check again and see the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
It could be some custom css you had in place for your header or a plugin conflict so please remove any custom code you may have in place and disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Let us know if you still have trouble with the header.
Thank you!
Hi,
You have a custom css in place that does not come from the theme. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also if you have any custom modifications in place, please revert the theme to it;s default code.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then delete the current social counter from the plugins section (delete files) and then install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/HeuWIAsEtn
As for the mobile theme, please read this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not like the mobile theme layout, you can always disable it as it’s an optional plugin. you will still have a responsive version of the website that works properly on all devices.
Thank you!
Hello,
This usually happens due to caching issues whether its’s an unsupported caching plugin (w3 total cache or wp rocket) or certain settings in the hosting cache or the cdn server. We suggest testing this without cdn or other cache and only with the recommended plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello,
This issue is caused by your caching plugin settings. Please use the recommended wp super cache plugin and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also if you use a cdn server please check the settings there as well.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check your caching plugin and it’s settings. We recommend using wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Plugin conflicts can also cause theme elements to not function properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you do not have those particular posts set as a smartlist. smart lists ignore ads. if this is not the problem, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you filled out all of the fields and the social icons do not appear, please try to clear all caches and test other settings in the theme panel and see if they apply. If no setting applies, disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If you still have trouble with this please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate. Please also paste in a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Hello,
The first problem is a caching issue. Please make sure you use wp super cache, not other untested caching solutions. Please clear your cache from your current cache plugin and then install wp super cache and set it up according to this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Then try to clear any other cache you might have: a cdn server or hosting cache.
For the second issue, please disable all plugins except visual composer and install the mobile theme without other untested plugins active. The mobile theme as well as the standard theme are not compatible with all plugins unfortunately.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also update visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
The test the theme panel again. If the problem is still there, disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. You can also try to re-save the permalinks. Then test the panel again.
If the problem is still then, it could mean the process of moving to ssl was not done properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
The browser cache is not the cause of this. You need to clear the cache from your cache plugin (depending on what you use)For that please check the plugin settings. As for the cdn if you are not aware of what that is, you are probably not using it (if you are the one that set-up the domain, hosting and other settings fr your site)
For the caching we recommend wp super cache. If you use any other plugin, please first clear the cache from the plugin settings and then remove the plugin and install wp super cache and use this guide to set it up: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello top10wala,
This behaviour appears because perhaps, you are using CDN system. So, to solve this problem, please try to clear all your caches (inclusive CACHE SERVER -> request this to your hosting provider), purge CDN file and test it again and check the results. Until now, we have encountered this problem and all of the customers which were had this issue were solved it by deleting the cache server. Please try to contact your hosting provider and request them to clear the server cache.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Actually i deactivated w3 total cahce and that made it.
i use w3 total cache with cdn. can we have this work all together?
hi,
This is usually a caching issue if you just updated. Please clear all caches including the cache plugin, server cache or cdn server. then test your site again. If the problem is still there, please provide a link to your site so I can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hi Daniela,
The social issue is caused by cache. You can remove the coming soon messages by clearing all caches whether it’s a plugin cache, hosting cache or a cdn server.
As for the sidebar, you can edit the sidebar from the wordpress widgets area: http://screencast.com/t/Rk1nRlQ3rGQ or create a new custom sidebar using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
For the social counter, please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello,
I have checked your site and the images seem to display properly. Some thumbs need to be regenerated (https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/) but I could not find any images that are not displaying. Please provide more details if you still have this problem.
Disappearing images are mostly caused by plugin conflicts so please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Thank you!
Hello,
1) Your first issue is gone. it is a known caching issue and once the cache gets cleared, the problem goes away.
2) I can see no text behind the logo. It could have been the same cause.
3) Same as 1. The problem is that if you use a strong caching tool or cdn server, after you update the cache will still serve the old style.css of newspaper 6 and you will see all kinds of issues untill the cache is reset. it appears fine now.
Thank you!
Hi,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and purge cdn files if you use it. Then test your links again.
Let us know if you still have trouble with links.
Thank you!
HI
I’ve checked your site and there are some js errors in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/4VrFQHhFvG These errors affect theme’s js and also some resources from Visual Composer plugin. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello eduardo,
I have checked your website and I saw that you website does not use the latest version of the theme 7.2 Your actual version is 6.3.2 -> http://screencast.com/t/5J3LzMZNDxo. Please try to update your theme only through FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. For more information about this, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ After this, please try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
