Hi,

I have tested your facebook id on my end but it works as expected: http://screencast.com/t/ZRtWxhrQ
I also checked your g+ account: http://screencast.com/t/HGWjm9cz02
Please follow this guide and make sure you set everything up properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Also make sure you clear all caches afterwards as the counter is affected by cache.
if you still have trouble with the counter afterwards, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This should rule out any plugin conflicts that might affect the counter.
If all else fails, please email us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect the issue. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. I see the image gets re-sized but not from our theme. It must be an image optimization tool like maybe photon from jetpack.
Let us know how it goes.

Thank you!

Hi Catalin,

Well, I tried to :
-clean CDN on OVH
-clean all sever caches with a “Header set Cache-Control “no-cache”” in the htaccess (answer given by OVH to clean server caches ; I suppose it is a good way for that, like it is what they asked me to do)

And the problem is still here. Do you have other idea please ?

Hello Eric_Vie,

First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
I have checked your website in the mobile mode and I saw that you have the Chinese symbols instead of social icons and mobile menu. Usually, this kind of error appears when using CDN or loading fonts from a different source.
The solution to this issue is simple. You will need to add some code to your .htaccess file like this post suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/strange-chinese-symbols-replaced-icons-and-arrows/

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your understanding!

Ajax errors are usually due to js errors: http://screencast.com/t/4jYdbMwZn
This can be caused either by a plugin or the modification you made. First try it without plugins disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. The check again. If the problem is still there, it means your code needs adjusting.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello manjiri,

Please notice that our system is based on cropping and not for resizing of images. Our cropping system to center to top. Please notice that the cropping system of our theme is the same for all featured image and this will crop the image from center to top. Please notice that you cannot change very easy this system and if you want this, please notice that is not a simple task and involve custom work. If you want to better understand this process, please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/resize-thumbnails-to-proper-size/
If you need more assistance in this regard please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Page speed is a very personal thing and can depend on lots of variables starting from the host and all the way down to the plugins that you use. Plugins play a very big role in page speed. so please test it out with all plugins disabled excepot visual composer and wp super cache, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again and see if there is any plugin slowing you down.
Based on your pagespeed score you get pretty high scores. You get 87 points on desktop and our demo gets 89. The difference is very small between the 2.
The first load however takes quite a bit of time so unfortuantely there is little you can do from this side as the first load can only be adjusted from the server. Here is an example from drupal: https://www.drupal.org/node/526092

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This is most likely a plugin conflict. Also try to identify what is different in that particular category if plugins are not the cause. Please provide a link to your site if the problem is still there so we can investigate.

Thank you!

Hi,
How can I test a block from visual composer without visual composer? The blocks in our theme can only be used with VC. If you have problems with the pagination please disable all your plugins except VC, clear cache and reset cdn files. You could have a plugin conflict that is affecting the pagination.
Thank you!

I’m having a similar problem as the OP’s first image – duplicate menu appearing at the top of the page.

I am not running a CDN or caching plugin, plus I always do a control-shift-R in the browser to force the page reload which tells my browser to ignore any files cached locally in the browser and re-download from the server.

Very disturbing.

Hello,

It seems the block margins and padding are causing this. Please check your homepage blocks again under design options and remove any margins or padding applied to them. Also please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict.
Let us know how it goes.

Thank you!

Hi,

This is a known issue and it is related to cdn. The error will fix itself once all caches get cleared. Your site.host/cdn is feeding the old style.css file from newspaper 6 and until the cache/cdn is cleared it will show this way. Caches have a set time interval for resets, but you can reset them manually. It can be either a caching plugin, a cdn server or even hosting that provides cache directly. SO your options are either wait for it to clear or you can manually clear everything you can and try to find out if your host has any caching and how it can be cleared.
As for the social counter, please update the plugin as well. Disable and delete your current version and install the new version (4.1) that is bundled with the latest version of the theme.

I hope this helps.
Thank you!
