1. Jetpack can indeed be resource heavy, if you don’t use it for anything you can deactivate it. This plugin is on our tested plugins list but it is optional to use it, not required. The theme will work just fine without it.

The cloud library plugin is provided by us, it is optional as well. Here you can see what you gain by using it

If this is not useful to you you can deactivate it, it’s not required.

2. The speedbooster plugin is also optional. it will deactivate itself when it detects plugin that are not part of a predefined list

If you use cloud template please update and acetate it.
If you still have problem you can deactivate all plugins, after that activate one by one and check if one of them cause troubles.

The demo uses a cloud library template for the post page, if the cloud library plugin is not active it will display the default post template

The cloud category templates will not show the pull-down filter at the moment, this may change in the future. The plugin will be improved and more options will be added to it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

You can do that with cloud template, using cloud you can edit/change averting you like.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option for this, sorry! Please notice that the mobile theme has a certain style and layout for mobile devices, which when is used, will ignore the cloud templates used on the homepage.

You can use cloud templates, get a single template from cloud ( example: https://www.screencast.com/t/gGxFput0 ) , edit it with TD Composer, drag a ad box were you like to have ads, click on the ad box and set a “Use adspot from” ( https://www.screencast.com/t/fXGYNChD3N https://www.screencast.com/t/vIqzbfCTHoeK ) save the template and set it on posts.

All you need to do is to get the template form cloud, and after that go in Newspaper>Theme panel> Template settings> and expand Author template https://www.screencast.com/t/zsPx7FLxx1Sv
