Been working for the last few days working on changing the theme and then I started getting this error. Reinstalled WordPress and still get this error on a fresh install.
Cleared cache, turned off Cloudflare, reset DNS and nothing seems to work.
Anyone help out please?

Just got done with invalidating on AWS Cloudfront, works now.
Is it possible to change the soundlocud feed with that of mixcloud. Soundcloud is a paid service and therefor we are not getting much into it.

Hello there,
We have purchased this theme after we migrated our Joomla website to WordPress. We have three websites with over 50k posts on each website. Our traffic is not that much since our target is small.
Whenever we activate Newspaper theme, it causes the server performance and make the whole thing down. From the server logs, the process for index.php is taking too long. If we switch back to normal default theme, it works fine.
We are using Bluehost’s Cloud Hosting Business Plan. Bluehost told us that some of the code in the theme are causing the problem. And I have been working on this for a few weeks without success.
It would be so great if you could help us solve this problem.

As per title theme options are not saving since several time. We tried making some actions but nothing.
We tried:
– Disable all plugins
– Put cloudflare in developer mode
– Change parameters as asked in guide with even more values
Current values are:

We can’t find any error in the inspector console. We found only this:

Sorry for the countless emails on the thread. So on my dev site, I uploaded the new theme and did the test again and noticed all of the errors but one were fixed. Is there an easy way to update the Theme without deleting all of my customization?
Is it possible to remove the Article markup data or have it switched? Here are the results that are being pulled from Google’s testing tool here.
It is saying that the image, datePublished, headline, publisher, dateModified and mainEntityOfPage aren’t being pulled correctly.
I think I may have figured it out on my own by using WP Optimize. See my new scores below – and that was with adsense on.
Problem is my site feels like it’s taking longer to load then before; and deffinately longer than whats being consistently reported by the speed test?
Any thoughs?

Ive double checked and the instagram, viemo and youtube counters show 0. Although if you click on the name it does link to social media id.
Twitter and Soundcloud shows correctly.

having installed Let’s encrypt on cloudways using a default wordpress install with Newspaper theme.
having changed wordpress HOME and SITE URL to https
everything is working, but in for example Chrome:
SSL is “green” on the admin (/wp-admin)
SSL is not “green” on the website.
saying:

and sure enough, the newspaper logo, logo-mobile, bg, 8 (etc.) images are still http. So it seems Newspaper theme forces http and doesn’t serve the image files for the theme like WordPress want’s it to (as https://)
is this a general bug in Newspaper theme and if so, are you fixing it ? – is there a workaround for now ? Or am I doing something completely wrong ?

1. After the last 2 updates (currently v7.1 + v4.11.2 Visual Composer) I can no longer see the visual composer on any page? If I switch to Classic mode the code is there but when I go to Backend editor I see a blank page. After testing all my plugins I found the conflict to be with the TagDiv Mobile Theme v1.0
I run through Cloudflare and have cleared all caches there and in the browser.
2. I get pages loading OK but sometimes a random mobile page will load for no reason? ie. Mobile menu and full width image and text with no sidebars?
3. On mobile the only two pages in the menu do not load. They were loading but now they dont after the latest update. I also had some mobile menus loading correctly with the drop down for sub menu or secondary menu working but now all I get is the top level menu? The menu has two pages with all the other links (including sub menus) being category links.
I am also running and testing the AMP for WordPress and Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP. I would like to know if these are compatible and or if this is what you already do with the new mobile app version? Turning these off made no change to these issues?

Can you give me some help, please? 3 days later my facebook account shows same 0 count.
I have installed: Social Counter 4.0 , Newspaper 7.0.1, Visual Composer 4.11.2.
I tried everything. Reinstalled plugins, clear cache from WP Super Cache and also from Cloudflare. Since I updated to last version of the theme the FB counter is stuck at 0.

we installed the weather plugin in the main page, but it is not precise. Probably is our fault, We have the Wp Super cache plugin, and cloudflare!
is there a way where the weather it is not cached?
Update: After purging CloudFlare cache, on the browser I am using, Chrome for Mac, I reloaded my main page by forcing it to reload everything (SHIFT + tapping on the reload button), it is working fine now.
On CloudFlare, I purged the cache, the issue remains. 🙁
3,4) It seems we have some miscommunication here. I do not ask for customization. The only thing I ask is an explanation of what I have done wrong. I did everything according to your instructions (the steps I did are described above). The only question I have is what I did wrong and what steps were made not according to the instructions? I have already used child themes on 4 other sites I have with 4 other themes. So I have never experienced any issues in it. At other themes it works perfectly. 9. I do understand that. The reason I’m raising this questions is because it seems in your manual there is a discrepancy. So I decided to help you. You mentioned in the manual that we should use CloudFlare, but in the same time you mentioned that gzip compression is required. So if gzip compression is enaebled at CloudFlare by default, probably it would be helpful for the rest of the users if you mention that they do not need to enable gzip compression at the server when they are connected to Cloudflare, as otherwise two gzip compressions will be enabled: at CLoudflare (which is turned on by default) + at their own server. That is the only reason I mentioned it. I believe it really cool when people can help each other, that is why I mentioned it but not because I’m looking for support in the question. When people help each other for no reason, it makes the world better )
11. Isn’t it directly concerns proper work of the speed booster plugin? I believe if we resolve the issue, we will make the plugin better together, won’t we? If we resolve the issue, other users will never face it and will consider the theme as the best in the world.
14. Let me mention that I know the steps required to be made. That code perfectly works at any of my other sites, but it doesn’t work with newspaper 🙁 That is the reason why I asked for support here. For 4 year at my previous theme I gathered hundred of thousands taxonomies. All I want is to make my web site works with the new theme at least on the same level as it worked on the previous one. I would really appreciate if you could potentially consider a possibility of giving me a hand with this unusual question.

Blogwire – I do use CloudFlare in conjunction with the Cache plugin.
But It may not be a cache issue as even after disabling and using the recommended WP Super Cache the issue is coming up.
Vikram, do I use cloud flare? If so you do not need and caching on WordPress. Cloud flare does IT ALL. Along with compression also.

7. Sorry. It seems I wasn’t clear with my question at all. Let me build my question in a different way. The issue is the following, let’s say I have the article about Obama. And I set it to 3 different sections – I made the post featured + I put in Politics category and World category. It means that the article about Obama will appear on the home page 3 times. First time in the section with Featured posts. Second time in the section with Politics. Third time in section with World news. The question is how to avoid duplicating posts on the home page when the post is placed in different categories?

4. What is the proper way of using child theme? I made the following steps:
• I copied the child folder from here Themes\Newspaper-tf\code\Newspaper-child
• Pasted it to here /wp-content/themes/

Working for me just fine.
Sounds like you have some issues with your setup.
Useful to disable all plugins, update theme, update plugins, and only use visual composer to tesr update. Skip using child theme.
Dont use anything that modifies code like wordfence or cloudflare unless you know what youre doing. Avoid jetpack.
Connection issues usually mean your server setup not optimized, or you are trying to connect to offline sources like jetpack stuff which crashes all the time.
I dont work here, just some feedback that it does work. But visual composer is a little wonky in its setup and updates. Often deleting the jscomposer folder completely only way to upgrade the damn thing.
