Hello @sympan!
Yes, because you use AMP. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options. We no longer recommend using AMP because it is deprecated https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp
You can uninstall the AMP plugin and check if the featured image shows again in your mobile viewport.
Thank you!
Thanks for sticking with me on this.
The tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Composer plugins were deactivated temporarily due to a plugin conflict. But then, the mobile-width menu did not work. Once the plugin conflict was solved, I re-activated tagDiv Cloud and tagDiv Composer.
A video would be great, please and thank you.
I have now reviewed the documentation pages you linked above, including the videos there.
I think I have a better understanding of what is going on, but, unfortunately, we have another complication. When I try to access the Cloud Library, I am seeing “error” messages because we are operating under a staging/temporary domain name. The messages say, “Envato key is alright, but it is not assigned to the current domain. Just assign it and then you are ready to enjoy the full benefits. If you need help, please to contact us at contact@tagdiv.com”. It really would be better if the permanent domain name, which will be thevalleycitizen.com, could stay as the assigned domain name. Does that mean we can’t work any more on the header, footer, and comments form until after we launch?
Thanks, again.
Hi,
You can install only the design -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ or you can import the templates from Cloud Library -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Thank you!
Hello Gregor!
If you will use in the future cloud templates (that we recommend), then you have in the TagDiv Composer a lot of options for customization. We wanted to create the easiest platform, so you can build your website without knowing any code and have the possibility to customize every field from any demo. That’s why you do not need a child theme with cloud templates. But you can use the child theme you have with the default templates.
The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue with that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme.
If you have some custom modifications directly in the theme files, then better save the code and replace it after every update. You can use a staging plugin, so you won’t ruin your website.
For every update, we always recommend the following:
-> First of all, please make sure you have a backup.
-> Please deactivate all the non-tested plugins with our theme before updating.
-> Update WordPress, PHP, the theme, and plugins to the latest version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/.
-> Check all these requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hello,
Do you need to do the entire design also for a blog or only the directory listing?
I recommend creating your own cpts and taxonomies https://forum.tagdiv.com/introduction-cpt-acf-newspaper-theme/, and after you can set the post type on the blocks that you have imported from cloud templates also on the modules.
Thank you!
Hello @fm92 !
If you will use a cloud template, then you can add a class to every shortcode from the tagdiv Composer.
If you would like to use the default templates, then the featured image functionality can be found here: td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php
Thank you!
Hello,
I have enabled NewsPaper theme on my site and its working fine with the demo data. But when I was trying to add live content and delete all the posts my site is having issues. It gives me error like ‘redirected you too many times’. It only works if there is at least one published post at my dashboard. The issue is with tagDiv Cloud Library plugin because I have created template for my home page.
Can you please look into this and let me know what causes this issue.
I have also attached some screenshot below.
Here’s my site details :

Hello,
I recommend creating mobile pages and templates and disabling the mobile theme plugin.
Also, if you run ads on your website, I recommend using the WP Rocket plugin to optimize the scripts.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don’t understand exactly what problem you are having so that I can help you efficiently. Until now, haven’t you had tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library active? Also, you don’t need to make changes in the theme files, because these changes will be deleted with each update. You can add that text as I mentioned above. Do you want a video? Have you checked our documentation on how to import a single post template https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ ? Check our documentation here https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please disable the mobile theme and amp plugins.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
when editing cloud templates I continuously get this error – “Error at zones: 6(models) : 3(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” What causes this
Hi Anamaria,
I am adding it under ‘Service’ under case studies, I add icon and service description, but they don’t show on the front end, everything else shows fine like title, etc. I have everything needed for this to work (cloud taxonomies, ACF fields, and momentum plugin). What else could be missing preventing this from showing? Thanks!
UPDATE: I have found a number of Single Post Templates by going to Theme Panel > Cloud Library. Although, none of the previews seem to include the Leave a Comment form–I trust that the form is available but just not shown in the previews. What I want to do is very simple, and I even added the line of text to the comments.php file, and it worked. But, the comment guidelines disappeared when I had to activate the tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Composer plugins to make the mobile-width menu work. We have worked very hard on getting the single posts to look the way we want them. Is there any way we can do what we want without starting over with a new single page template? Thanks so much for your patience and help.
Hello!
Change the code like this into div tags: https://app.screencast.com/xARxAXQqIqu4Y
The file is: wp-content\plugins\td-cloud-library\shortcodes\single\tdb_single_author_box.php [556 line]
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend to use cloud templates and flex block instead of the blocks 1 to 25.
You need to import a single post template, design it if you want and with tagDiv Composer you can add the inline text ->

Thank you!
Hello,
I am not sure why the icon or service descriptions are not showing when I update the service taxonomies (tags). Everything else is working great, please let me know what am I missing. I checked all cloud templates, plugins, and ACF fields and everything seems to be in order. Thank you!
Hello!
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Edit the article with the tagdiv composer, click on the article paragraphs, and here you have the settings to change the color of the links, and the second color is the hover color: https://app.screencast.com/sXUXzMpkWiDvm
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, you can use Cloudflare. Please check our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
my hosting server (bluehost) is recommending that I used Cloudflare to speed up my website. Does Cloudflare work well with the newspaper theme? Thank you
Hi Support,
We are running koko.ng website with Newspaper theme and current server which we are running the website is having Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2288G CPU with 6 core 62GB ram SSD disk. Our users as well as back end data staff always complain regarding slowness with the website. Our system admins and developers has done detailed investigation regarding this and we could see that “tagDiv Composer” and “tagDiv Cloud Library” plugins creating high mysql load and it is creating performance issues. Is there some method we could optimize these plugins for improving performance?
Hi,
Thanks for your prompt response.
For some reason there weren’t any revisions to restore. However, I did make note of the post number that contains the footer settings after visiting “Cloud Templates” in the wordpress admin panel and then clicking ‘Edit’ in the footer template section. With the post number, I was able restore the contents of the footer post from a database backup.
The post number is the value for ‘ID’ in the “wp_posts” table in the wordpress database. I simply copied the content from the column ‘post_content’ from a backup and inserted it into the my database and the footer settings were restored.
I explained my solution for anyone else who may wish to restore footer items deleted by mistake. This works on all items as long as you have the post number.

Hello,
You need to have a single post template from tagdiv Cloud Library and you can add the element from the composer -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single https://forum.tagdiv.com/single-post-shortcodes/
Thank you!
Hello,
I think that you can apply for the template, so no need to delete the cloud template.
