After instaling wp v-5.3 I can’t edi t any post or page. When I click edit it opens but the whole page is blank(white). Ater deactive tagdiv composer I can easily edit post and page.
Can anyone solve this?
1 – How To Edit Sub Footer Copyright Line In Newspaper 10 Displaying Newspaper WordPress Theme by TagDiv.
2 – Also When I go to the page edit with td composer after clicking on the cloud template on left and after selecting template clicking on import the template doesn’t get import it remains on the page as it is.
I’ve just installed theme Nemspaper 10.1, using default setting. I want to edit main menu. I open front page by TD Composer but it always notice ” The content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer ” and I don’t see any edit button for main menu
and logo.
Pls show me how to edit the theme header.
While creating page/post no option is there to insert the table created through tablepress. I am using tagDiv composer for creating pages/post.
Can you please assist on this?
I understand that updating a theme can be difficult, but should it necessitate rebuilding the website?
We used your theme and page builder in confidence that moving forward TagDiv would continue to support those tools. We complained about speed, but were told that it was just us. We used the tools you provided, which you apparently now want us to stop using.
Now we (and many others) are faced with the following (and please correct me if I am wrong):
1) If we have used TagDiv Composer to build our site, we will have to rebuild any pages, headers or templates under the new theme because the short codes are put right into the text. For many, that is essentially rebuilding their entire website!
2) If we do not want to see all of the TadDiv short codes from Composer, we must use the Standard Plugin, which essentially returns the site to 9.8 compatibility and the same old CPU/speed problems.
3) I cannot see (and I have looked) how upgrading to 10 from 9.8 would benefit someone currently using your theme? There is no comparison on your website to show the benefits of the upgrade.There is nothing to recommend updating except the dubious honor of rebuilding your website.
Are there major security patches?
Is it needed for 5.3 compatibility?
Will 9.8 continue to receive security/other patches?
4) TagDiv Newspaper 9 is not a fast theme, there is unneeded JS running creating CPU cycles where there doesn’t need to be. The code just isn’t clean. This may be due to legacy code but I’ve had conversations with TagDiv before this related to speed and was always assured that the theme was fast, it was just my site was slower. Now I will quote the truth from your website:
Deactivate Standard Pack for blazing fast-websites. To gain page loading speed for your website, you’ll need to deactivate the Standard Pack plugin. This step will separate the templates (pages, singles, headers, footer) you’ve created or imported from the tagDiv Cloud Library from the ones built inside the Newspaper theme panel. All of the default templates from the theme and some of the elements from the tagDiv Composer will be disabled by deactivating the Standard Pack.
5) So, by running the standard pack we are negating any reason to update. The 9 theme was causing websites to be slower and by deactivating all of those features you spent so much time creating and selling to us in 9, we essentially slowed our sites down. The solution? Upgrade to 10 and turn off the Standard Pack Plugin. Which brings up the following…
4) Deactivating the Standard Pack plugin will cause any site that has modified any part of the Newspaper theme using the TagDiv Composer to show up as short codes and break the site completely.
I will again quote from your site:
For example, your website uses one of the default headers from the theme panel, and you deactivate the Standard Pack, your header will be displayed as a series of text and symbols on the frontend.
Guys, you screwed up. It’s pretty obvious to those of us who used your theme and if you can’t see it then that’s on you, and your inability to remain customer focused and customer centric.
• In 9 you introduced a bunch of cool toys, showed us how to use them and set us loose.
• These toys introduced a bunch of extra code that slowly but surely slowed our sites and caused excessive CPU cycles on our servers. (for those of us who pay for SPU usage, this not only slows our sites but eats into our pocketbooks)
• In 10 you back tracked and told us to turn OFF the cool toys you gave us to make the site run faster. Ah, but if you do that then your site will break, affording you the “opportunity” to rebuild your site.
Unless you can be upfront with us and admit you made a mistake and are now trying to fix it the reasons to continue using Newspaper become nearly non-existent.
(and yes, to all of you out there who know “all of the things”, these conclusions were discovered using a test site which has been wiped and copied several times to come to the place we are today)
I’m an independent and my time is money. I can’t charge my clients for upgrading their websites can I now? When the recommendation to go with one of the most popular themes in use came from me?
As a test, I’m going to delete Newspaper and scrub it’s existence from one site. Then install a flexible, fast page-builder friendly theme and rebuild that client’s website to see what the difference is and how long it takes. I’m going to guess between 30 – 40 hours of my time. I guess we’ll see what the end result is…

I can Hide the Big Element Only in Mobile.
My Home Page Wider Element Only Shows in Desktop and Tabs…
When Screen is Mobile, it will disappear.
I Mark CSS Hidden For Mobile.
That’s an amazing function.
That helped me to show a Nice Page for Mobile Phone,
Remember: I am not using AMP or Mobile Theme Plugin.
Page loads Quick in Mobile up to an extent.
I’m Partially happy now.
Sad, because still, AMP is not works 🙂
When Just Enable the AMP Plugin ( without Mobile Theme )
Then mobile Page is Crashed – So I deactivated it.

Just create pages as my categories… and build pages using TagDiv Composer.
and Change Menu with that new Pages URLs…
But,
When a Visitor Click on a Post, and Click on Breadcrumb or somewhere like that… so the real category will show up.

Why would you remove the ability to set the style within a normal widget without having to use Tagdiv Composer? This functionality was there and now has been removed. Really frustrating and may I add that you should make this very clear in the documentation since it doesn’t seem to have been updated.

I notice a problem with the design of my article blocks when I create a page with TagDiv Composer. The titles and layouts selected and visible in the TagDiv Composer do not match those that appear when I put my page online.

You can use single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can edit it with tagDiv Composer to set the shotcodes and elements you want.

I can’t edit article in my site. When I try to open edit page i see only blank page!!! Please help me . I see problem is the tagdiv composer plugin. When I disable it it comes to run like a charm.

Please note that the tagDiv Composer is a MUST have plugin in order for the Newspaper theme to run. Also please make sure that your system status is all in order. I deactivated all plugins, except “tagDiv Composer” and “tagDiv Cloud Library”.
I installed Newspaper 10.1 and after the update I deleted and reinstalled both mentioned plugins to avoid conflicts.
The problem still occurs. It is definitely not a conflict with a plugin, since all are disabled.

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, this will appear instead the responsive version, so the changes made by you with tagDiv Composer will not be display.

Sorry for the missunderstanding !
You don’t have to remove anything. In order to convert from old version to the new one simply deactivate the Standard Pack plugin and adjust or re-design your website using the new features that come with Newspaper 10 ( Demos, Cloud library templates, tagDiv Composer elements ).

Indeed in Newspaper X there are some conflicts between these builders because a part from tagDiv Composer was moved in standard pack -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/ we recommend to check on sub-domain or localhost this new update, also maybe you try the Newspaper X without standard pack elements and WPBakery builder ( for example PRO demos ) to see the new flexibility and speed of Newspaper X.

That can be editable using the tagDiv Composer on your layout. You will have to right click on the elements and remove them when you’re editing with tagDiv Composer.

I use latest version of the theme. I again deactivated all the plugins and none of them, apart from tagDiv Composer, disabled posts editing page.
Only tagDiv Composer makes writing/editing posts creates an issue (returns blank page).
Please advise
I was deactivating every plugin I had installed and the error is TagDiv Composer that creates conflicts with Yoast SEO. Please resolve the issue as soon as possible, as it is not an isolated inceidente, but several users have reported the same bug and the origin is more than clear.

Thanks, but that’s not the point. The point is to create a site from 0 with a simple example checklist. In the past I created a setup checklist for Newspaper that looked like this:
1. Install Newspaper
2. Install X Plug-Ins (e.g. TD Composer)
3. Go Theme Menu
4. Select Header (e.g. Style 7)
5. Upload your logo and favicon
.. etc.
Would be great if you could walk people through creating a simple site without having to rely on a pre-canned demo. Either a blog post or quick video would be super helpful.

This issue happens when updating from an older version of the theme so please make this adjustment in the tagdiv composer plugin:

Then hit a save in the theme panel and then revert the code back to original .this will make the social icons appear properly again.

Ok, digging into your theme structure, i’ve just found out that in: plugins\td-composer\legacy\Newspaper\loop-single.php there is no call to the related posts funcion as follows:
echo $td_mod_single->related_posts();?>
If i add those line (already available in plugins\td-composer\mobile) everything works.
Is this a bug?
