Ok i wouldn’t care if it wasn’t for the message that pops up when i access the dashboard, i can close it but it comes up again later. This didn’t happen with the previous version of the composer.
Maybe i should report this to visual composer devs instead?

Hello fajrialhadi,
Please notice that this is not a problem with our Newspaper 7 !!! This is just the behaviour of this type of additional mobile theme plugin. If you have enabled the mobile theme, the pages will be displayed in the simple mode and you can only add your desired text which will appear on your mobile view. Please notice that this simple core for the mobile theme has been designed for a fast page loading, speed, clean content and relevant information. Also, if you are using the mobile theme, your home page will not display you the original page but only the big grid and the related articles because the Visual Composer not working for the mobile theme, though. If you do not want to have this behaviour for your mobile mode, you simply disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin from plugins area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/uoSa0R9CUL6
For more information about our new feature, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi
You followed the correct procedure but you don’t need to activate the Visual Composer. You can ignore the activation message as Visual Composer plugin comes bundled with the theme and you don’t need a license key for it.
Thanks!
Hi Catalin,
With the update of Visual Composer it is all fine, thanks to you !
Hello paolobabaglioni,
The latest version of WordPress 4.5.2 ‘break’ the Visual Composer and also, generate a lot of issues through the plugin. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of this V.C 4.11.2, clear all your caches and check the result.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hello nucreative,
First of all, please ensure that you are correctly installed the new update via FTP because this method is most safety way in this regard. Also, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer (4.11.2), Social Counter (4.0) and also, you have to use the latest version of child theme that comes bundled with our theme. Try to add all your customization from your old child theme to the new child theme and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi
Please make sure that you’re using last theme version available on themeforest and also update Visual Composer plugin at V 4.11.2 which is included in its path. Here you can find our update documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If you still can’t manage to solve this provide your site url so I can have a closer look at this issue.
Thanks!
Hi, my visual composer wasn’t working (infinite loading) so i decided to update it to see if that solved the issue, and it did but now i get a message saying i don’t have a license and asking me to purchase one.
I have:
Newsmag version: 2.3.6
Visual composer version Version 4.11.2
What i did was:
1. Went to pluins uninstalled visual composer.
2. Downloaded newsmag from themeforest site.
3. Added new plugin, uploaded from PC found at \Newsmag\includes\plugins\js_composer.zip
I thought this was the correct procedure? When i check license it takes me here:

Thanks.
Hi
After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at current version avalable on themeforest, also update Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!

Hello aktifje,
Please ensure that you have cleared all your caches and purge your CDN files if you are using the CDN and test it again.
For your second problem, please notice that this is just the behaviour of this type of additional mobile theme plugin. If you do not want to have this behaviour for your mobile mode, you simply disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin from plugins area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/uoSa0R9CUL6

Hi,
Did you set up the exchange widget from block settings: http://screencast.com/t/GsRkc79ZGg1w
If you still cannot get it to work, please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If everything else fails, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect the block element.
Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi,
@wildmercury the back-end changes if you activate the mobile theme as on pages there will be an extra mce editor for the mobile theme page. You can edit this page but not with visual composer. That is why you have the “strange” changes in tehe back-end because there are 2 editors now. One for desktop and one for mobile. If you deactivate the mobile theme, the second editor will be gone.
As for the social counter, please make sure you have version 4.0 installed and then follow this guide to properly set it up: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
@eddycom Something might have gone wrong with the installation of the theme or the update. Please remove the theme altogether via ftp and access your wp-admin without the theme and see if there is still an error. Then install the theme following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thank you!
Hi,
1) The images disappeared because of a plugin you installed that is not compatible with our theme and that caused the javascript to break and images to not display anymore. Please try to remove the plugin causing this issue. You can try to disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then activate them one by one and figure out which one causes the issue.
2) please follow this guide to update to the new theme version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
There are a number of new features in newspaper 7 that are covered in the documentation so might want to read a bit about the new features.
Thank you!

Hi,
The mobile theme does not use visual composer. It converts your page to a predefined one using only a grid and latest articles. These cannot be changed as they are not added in visual composer, but coded in directly.
You can read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello jeanius,
I suspect this issue come from your untested plugins. I have checked your console and I saw that you have a js.errors and also, you are using a lot of untested plugins with our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all caches, purge your CDN files if you are using CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please try this advice and let us know how it goes, after this.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello MarketExpertise,
Please keep in mind that the Visual Composer plugin is fully tested with our theme and works as properly. Please ensure that you have updated your theme completely and also, via FTP because it the most safety method in this regard. Also, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer 4.11.2. Clears all your caches and check the results. Also, please try to use the theme without any untested plugins to rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello natscentral,
Please ensure that you are updated all your plugins. For better results, you have to use the Social Counter 4.0, Visual Composer 4.11.2. Please remove/delete the older ones and install only the newer ones.
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Hi,
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. if the problem is still there afterwards, please provide a link to your site so we can inspect the issue.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please only use the visual composer version bundled with the theme. Disable and delete any other version and just install the one from here: http://screencast.com/t/pfnXuEoF
The activation message can be ignored as the free version we provide with our theme cannot be activated nor does it need to. It;s simply a message that the plugin author added disregarding the free versions theme authors provide for their users.
Thank you!
Hello,
The mobile theme is much faster because it does not use visual composer. That is why you see the shortcodes there. Unfortunately there is no way to add VC elements to the mobile theme. Sorry.
Thank you!
Hello Edu Gomes,
Please ensure that you have correctly done your update. Usually, we recommend doing an update only via FTP because this is the most safety method in this regard. The exchange Widget is just tested with the new theme and works as properly. Also, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/exchange-widget/ Please try to disable all your active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If your problem is still there, please try to make a new fresh install via FTP and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello dan958,
Please notice that it is not the relevant issue….or working or not working. Also, in this case is talking about the same operation system (Android for both devices). Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If your problem is still there (but please notice that should working fine after these changes), please create a subscriber account so we can further inspect your website URL.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello all,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer 4.11.2 that come bundled with the latest update from Theme Forest. Please clear all your caches and check again the results. The Social Counter should work fine because was tested with the latest version and works as properly. Also, please notice that the Social Counter is not live and it may take a while until this process works fine.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for your understanding!
