Hey guys, after the 4.1 update we were promised a VC update with the next update. Then 4.2 was released with no VC update included. Now with 4.2.1 we STILL have no update for this plugin.

I request you either release the new update today, as promised and flaked several times already, or explain what problems the new version of VC is giving you to make it work with the theme. Don’t leave your customers in the dark and don’t fail to follow through.

Keep in that you’ve recommended to several users here not to purchase the full VC plugin because of the compatibility work you do to port the plugin to the theme. Leaves us little option to get around being blown off…

Have I mentioned the stacks are great yet? Could use a couple more honestly. Thanks.

Something to add to the wishlist.

Sometimes I would like to target a specific Visual Composer Elements for additional styling. Most of the standard VC elements have an “Extra CSS Class” field for this purpose, but not the tagDiv add-ons to VC.

It would be useful to have a custom taxonomy, say “Issue”, so that posts can be associated with a particular “Issue” or “Edition” of the newspaper. Now the post can be in, say, category: “Sports” and in issue: “25” and effectively allow back-issue archives. And chance of adding this to a wishlist? This seems kind of obvious for a newspaper theme. (There would need to be filters for this custom taxonomy on any shortcode/VC-element that produces a list of posts, like the Block elements in Visual Composer.)

Using Themeforest on my Mac locally while developping (site not online yet). Everything works fine, except the visual composer does not work (a main reason for my purchase of this theme), the button actually doesn’t appear as it should. Without this button, I can not do anything to compose easily my homepage. I am now struggling and waisting too much time without this functionality. Reading previous posts, I’ve tried de/reinstall WPBakery, etc, but nothing works. Strange because my configuration is relativelly standard (Safari, last version of WP and Themeforest…). I activated the VC function (both in my profile and with API key).
Could you please help urgently ?

I am also using Dreampress which is on varnish cache. I enabled Page Speed Mod as well. No other caching plugin.

The visual composer plugin says I don’t have the license to update.

There is a bug with plugin. Using Embedded Posts from Facebook get error when saving.
