Hi,
I see, unfortunately, the theme does not have an element to just drag it and get the article automatically, but this can be done. Use a single post template, edit it with tagDiv Composer, and at the bottom, set a flex block with the layout you want. After that save it. Install ACF plugin and create a custom field for articles (should be type text), then copy the cf name and on the flex block you have set at the bottom of content in the filter tab set the parameter like this {cf_yourCFname} https://i.imgur.com/V6k6ay9.png after taht just set for articles in backend in the acf field the post id and the block will show taht article. Now in case if you do not want to show anything if there is no id set in the fields, then in the block set in front of parameter value 0 and separate them with , like this 0, {cf_yourCFname}
Thank you!
Hello,
1. Please edit the cloud category template and select the first block, then look in the filter tab and set the filter on the current category. Also, check the second block, the posts loop, and in general, look for offset, make sure that the number of articles is set above, so those will not repeat – https://i.imgur.com/HQp7gF8.png – https://i.imgur.com/Qqia5ii.png
2. Are you referring to the fact that the articles are repeated? If so, then there are 2 options:
– use the unique article option.
– edit the page using tagDiv Composer and on each block set a category filter.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
So for weeks now, I have followed the guidance of and troubleshooting using the above article and these Newspaper Docs: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and although I learnt about not loading unused CSS & JS resulting in increased page speeds, the Wp Editor is still hanging :(.
I have updated the /wp-content + /wp-content/plugins .htaccess files accordingly, checked the php.ini file, changed the object cache plugin, checked the apache error logs, ran multiple diagnostic checks on the server configuration and still the WP editor hangs and I am exhausted on this.
Can someone from your team take a look for me please?
Thanks.
When I activate the AMP plugin is lists nearly all my activated plugins as incompatible. It includes some very popular plugins, like AIOSEO, Advanced Ads Pro, Smush Pro, Jetpack, tagDIV, Wordfence, Woo Commerce.
Even Bluehost’s simple plug-in is listed as incompatible. What do I do? These other plugins are needed. List is below,

Hello Team,
I’m running a local development environment of my production site newspatron.com using Docker.
The site and database were cloned from the live website.
Theme + required plugins are installed and activated:
Newspaper theme 12.7.3 (active)
Newspaper Child theme
td-composer 5.4.2
td-cloud-library 3.9.2
td-standard-pack 2.7.1
td-social-counter latest
Everything is working except:
❌ “Edit with TagDiv Composer” button is missing
❌ TagDiv frontend editor won’t load
⚠ Editing a page only shows a blank white screen
This happens only on the local site.
The live site works perfectly with the same setup.
Other info:
Local URL: http://newspatron.local
Database cloned from Jetpack backup
wp_debug enabled, no TagDiv-specific errors yet
Capabilities granted using WP-CLI
Request:
👉 Please provide any additional required settings, database flags, or licensing constraints needed to restore the TagDiv Composer button and frontend editor in a local dev environment.
Thanks.
Hi,
That is a page that can be created using tagDiv Composer. If you want, you can get the page from that menu from here https://pastebin.com/tDUgJJz9, set the code in a page, and edit it with tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello, and thank you for this excellent news. I was starting to lose hope of finding a solution. I even considered switching to another builder at one point. If TagDiv is planning to add AJAX support for CPTs in TagDiv Composer, that’s really positive. Do you have an idea of when this might be scheduled?
Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme do not have any option to restrict the editors from using the cloud templates.
What can be done is what you already tried, to use a plugin that restricts the user to different sections of your website.
Do you want to restrict only the cloud templates or also teh option to edit with tagDiv Composer? I’m asking because from tagDiv Composer, you can import cloud templates, sections, and elements.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please edit teh page using tagDiv composer- https://i.imgur.com/XkmIbbF.png and add the element “Woo Cart” save and check the page – https://i.imgur.com/cCJKCGA.png results should be – https://i.imgur.com/eh9un5w.png
Thank you!
Hi Claudio Souza, how are you?
I believe you are referring to this section – https://i.imgur.com/jhItDSn.png right? I se that there the elements are one under the other and normally should be one beside other. Unfortunately, only changing the page, I do not know exactly what settings are there. If you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide temporary WP-Admin access, we’ll check it and adjust the layout to be displayed nicely.
The child theme is provided with the theme in the theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ but can you please let me know for what you’ll like to use it? I’m asking because the pre-built website you have installed can be entirely edited in front-end with tagDiv Composer and is using cloud templates, which can be edited using the builder, without needing to touch the code.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are using the Newspaper theme on elubaczow.com.
The theme seems to generate different HTML for mobile and desktop.
This causes issues with full-page caching (sometimes the cached mobile HTML is served to desktop users and vice versa).
I think so and I received this information from the hosting provider.
Is there an option in the theme or in the tagDiv Composer / Mobile Theme plugin to disable device-specific HTML output and use a single unified HTML structure (with only CSS-based responsiveness)?
If not, what is the recommended way to configure caching (plugin and server-level) for Newspaper to avoid this issue?
The problem only occurs for users who are not logged in.
I have the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin disabled.
Is the problem something else?
Incorrect loading: https://prnt.sc/Ao3ObgNt1cia
It displays a completely different header – unused, and the rest of the page falls apart.

Hi,
This is related to teh settings that are made on your website. To make sure that you display the publish date, please check those settings:
– theme panel > block settings > meta info on modules > show modified date -https://i.imgur.com/S4jayR2.png This should be off.
– for single post template if is a cloud it can be diedt uwit tagDiv Composer and make sure you are using the Single Post Date
Thank you!
Hi,
This is because the search element you have is a pop-up element, but you do not have the page with the search elements, if you want, you can import it from the cloud and just assign it to the pop-up element with TagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/I2SWqBS.png – https://i.imgur.com/Nci3caP.png
Another method is to replace the pop-up element with the search element (can be done with Composer).
Thank you!
Hello tagDiv Support Team,
I need to restrict access to Cloud Templates for users with the Editor role on my Newspaper theme website. Currently, editors can still see and edit Cloud Templates in the backend, which I need to prevent.
What I’ve tried:
– Installed “User Role Editor” plugin and adjusted capabilities
– Added custom code to functions.php to remove menu items and capabilities
– None of these solutions have successfully hidden or blocked access to Cloud Templates
What I need:
– Only Administrators should be able to access, view, and edit Cloud Templates
– Editors should be completely blocked from accessing Cloud Templates (both in the admin menu and via direct URL access)
– Editors should still be able to create and edit regular posts and pages
Questions:
1. Is there a built-in setting in Newspaper theme to restrict Cloud Templates access by user role?
2. What is the correct capability or hook to use to prevent editors from accessing the Cloud Templates custom post type (tdb_templates)?
3. Can you provide the recommended code solution to implement this restriction?
Theme Details:
– Theme: Newspaper
– Plugins: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library (both active)
– WordPress Version: 6.8.3
– Theme Version: 12.7.3
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards
Hi, the new theme update requires an active license to enable editor mode with TagDiv Composer. I have the license on the website, but I need to test it on localhost before deploying some customizations. Do I need to purchase a new license to use it for development on localhost?
Hi Tagdiv Team and community,
Whenever I click on edit with tagdiv composer for homepage its not working and directly 404 error page comes up, somethings has messedup ! Please help me if anyone has solution for this issue
Hi,
For this you need to edit the page/template using tagDiv Composer and select the row, and mobile viewport, then in the layout tab select the reverse column and layout one under other – https://i.imgur.com/Nm9Dj4u.png
https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
What you can do is to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composerhttps://i.imgur.com/ZwyHap9.png , select the mobile viewport and select the row, then in the Layout tab set those settings – https://i.imgur.com/qYh4p1J.png (select the layout with elements one under the other and check the reverse column order). https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Most of the time, this issue is caused by a shortcode that isn’t compatible with our theme or by a plugin conflict. As a result, after you configure the page or cloud template with tagDiv Composer and save it, you may encounter this error the next time you try to edit it.
If the problem occurs on only one page or cloud template (including header or footer templates), it’s likely due to specific settings or shortcodes used there. You can test this by temporarily switching the header or footer to see if the issue persists. In many cases, the problem can be resolved by restoring a previous version of the page using the revision feature: https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!
Hi,
If the tagDiuv Mobile theme plugin is enabled, then this will override the responsive version of the theme (the one edited with tagDiv Composer); therefore, if you want the responsive version, you should disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin. Also, the mobile theme cna be configured using only the theme panel settings:
– The Newspaper Mobile Theme: Introduction
– The Mobile Theme
Thank you!
Did you, via FTP; after disabling caching plugin;
a) delete old theme
b) upload new, uncompressed theme folder, not the ‘all files’ folder
c) delete td-composer plugin
d) upload new td-composer plugin
e) login
f) re-enable td-composer plugin
??
This works for me on every site, running PHP 8.3x.
Dear Support Team,
Apologies, a beginner question here… I use for my portal a template from cloud via tagDIV Composer and it works very well on laptop view. However, the order of blocks on mobile view is very much different from what I would like to see. For example, the main article is always on the top in the centrer in laptop view, but on mobile I have to scroll down a lot to be able to see that block/article.
How can I change the order of these blocks on mobile view?
Thank you!!!
Hello,
I’m reaching out because I’ve been struggling for a while with the integration of my Custom Post Types.
I installed CPT UI on my site and created several post types that will replace the default WordPress categories. I also added multiple taxonomies (Formats, Countries, Years, Labels, etc.) and filled in their corresponding terms.
The filtering works, but only with a full page reload. Like here : LINK
What I’m trying to achieve is dynamic AJAX filtering, without reloading the page, combining several taxonomies at the same time and displaying the results instantly.
So far, I haven’t been able to make this work.
Is there a specific method, option, or configuration flow compatible with TagDiv Composer that allows AJAX filtering for CPT + taxonomies created with CPT UI?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, WordPress Manager has been reporting a medium security vulnerability since start of October for tagDiv plugin for the version 5.4.1 or under. WordPress installation is not detecting any updates for the plugin. Has this issue been addressed already? If so, can i update it manually? Thanks.

Hi,
The Chained News PRO is made using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates and it can be edited using the theme builder.
