Hello!
You can change the font and the size when you edit the homepage or a post with TagDiv Composer, edit the element and you will find a tab Style to the element’s settings.
For example if you edit a post and look into the settings you will find Post Content and you can change the font and size from there, like in this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/fZWaMT98qAb
Font size is in first column: https://www.screencast.com/t/gvhuqaoses
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Great! Thanks a lot Calin,
Had a quick explore, and now I know that I need to edit wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header/header-menu.php , so, could you please tell me the way to use child theme solution to customize it?
I tried to install Newsmag-child theme, and place the edited version in wp-content/themes/Newsmag-child/parts/header/header-menu.php, but it didnt work
Thank you again, Calin
Hi,
Security settings at my host (nginx server) cause a conflict with Tagdiv Composer (text editor not working anymore). Can you please tell me which of the following rules will conflict with Tagdiv Composer:
## WP Defender
# Stop php access except to needed files in wp-includes
location ~* ^/{FOLDER}wp-includes/.*(?<!(js/tinymce/wp-tinymce))\.php$ {
internal; #internal allows ms-files.php rewrite in multisite to work
}
# Specifically locks down upload directories in case full wp-content rule below is skipped
location ~* /{FOLDER}(?:uploads|files)/.*\.php$ {
deny all;
}
# Deny direct access to .php files in the /wp-content/ directory (including sub-folders). # Note this can break some poorly coded plugins/themes, replace the plugin or remove this block if it causes trouble
location ~* ^/{FOLDER}wp-content/.*\.php$ {
deny all;
}
# Turn off directory indexing
autoindex off;
# Kills the LetsEncrypt acme challenge
# # Deny access to htaccess and other hidden files
# location ~ /{FOLDER}\. {
# deny all;
# }
# Deny access to wp-config.php file
location = /{FOLDER}wp-config.php {
deny all;
}
# Deny access to revealing or potentially dangerous files in the /wp-content/ directory (including sub-folders)
location ~* ^/{FOLDER}wp-content/.*\.(md|exe|sh|bak|inc|pot|po|mo|log|sql)$ {
deny all;
}
## WP Defender - End ##
Thanks!
Hello !
That CSS comes because you are using a tagDiv composer template. In order to change your appearance you will have to do it via tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/v3eACqRUnOsW
Thank you !
Hello!
Check this video : https://www.screencast.com/t/9yOmmoMZ
If you have an inner row, just drag and drop the element till you see the orange box, then align it.
Also, you can check our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to edit the theme files then you need to edit this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/header.php
Also it will be indicate to set the file in child theme to do not lose it when you’ll update the theme.
Thank you!

Hello,
For a change the website width, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in Theme Panel, because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF
To set a page to full width, you’ll need to edit it with tagDiv Composer like this -> https://i.imgur.com/i5IUJ9E.jpg add or select a row and stretch it after your needs -> https://i.imgur.com/WKYebPX.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/TO1BZ3M.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Yq8UCv3.jpg
If this isn’t what you mean, please provide more information.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
I have a new and clean v10 site imported from newspaper pro demo. Looking in Appearances | Menu, I see the menu items use tdc font and icons in the Custom Link | Navigation Label, e.g.
<i class=”tdc-font-tdmp tdc-font-tdmp-chip”></i> Gaming
1. Is this where I add and make changes to menus or is there another location within the Theme panel or TDC Composer?
2. Where can I see all the available tdc icons I can add to the menu?
3. Searching the forum, I see a post showing how to add Font Awesome icons, but are there resources for showing how to use the tdc fonts and icons and to add new menu items?

Hello, My website name is https://holotin.com/. I am facing 2 problems.
1. My initial server response time is more than 4.5 seconds. In GTmetrix, my website gets F (Fail) in the speed test. I want to get rid of that. I have no problem with my hosting providers. The Plugins I am using right now is:
Broken Link Checker
Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights
Smush
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Social Counter
tagDiv Standard Pack
W3 Total Cache
Yoast SEO
2. Another issue is related to the menu. In my menu, there is a dropdown menu named ‘MORE’. When I click there it takes me to another link. I want to disable the link when I click on ‘MORE’. I only want when I would take my mouse cursor on ‘MORE’, it will show the submenu contents which are underneath the ‘MORE’ section.
Can you please help me with the issues?
Thanks.
I have real big problem with the CLS, if my site is reloaded when scrolled to the bottom of the page or I reload the page and an image is in the viewpoint I get really huge CLS. Everything turns red. This happens on mobile as on desktop. The problem is there are no correct defined placeholders for the images. The placeholder for the featured image is too big and is shrinking (to big placeholder in green: https://imgur.com/a/wAX7CQg ,finally loaded picture: https://imgur.com/a/mLJLqJt ) and the other placeholders for images in the post are to small and get bigger (to small placeholder in green: https://imgur.com/a/hnis9aH, finally loaded picture: https://imgur.com/a/ad0s0mN). So the browser hasn’t the right information and that is causing the CLS.
I’m writing my posts with Gutenberg and the Layout is composed with tagdiv-Composer. Concerning the information of my browser the featured image has the size 1200×800 px and the images in the post have the size 696×464 px, the correct thumbnails for the mobile theme are activated.
In the Desktop Layout only the placeholder for the featured image seems to have the right size, all other placeholders are too small.
What is the solution for that problem? I need a solution therefore urgently!!
Greetings Kathrin
Hi Vlad,
How do I edit the post with tagDiv composer? “Edit with tagDiv” is only showing for pages only.
I have tried it by doing this using template create and asigned the template into the category post layout under Theme settings. But now if I edit the post as tagDiv composer, all the posts of same category do display the same content.
Please suggest the solution for this.
Hi,
In most cases when you get a similar message “ Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
We have a guide for how to investigate this problem and fix it -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Thank you!
Hello!
For cloud templates there are 2 files that you need to modify:
1. td-cloud-library/state/single/tdb_state_single.php [line 123] -> Here the information related to the featured image is processed.
2. td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_featured_image.php -> This retrieves the processed information from above file and displays it.
For thumbnails on modules there is one file
td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module [line 276].
Some modules use another file found in
td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_module.php [line 248].
Hope that helps you somehow!
Thank you!
Hello!
You can adjust the footer logo by editing the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the logo and you will find in the element’s settings. Or, you can set up the sizes when you upload your image on media.
Please try it and see if that make a change for CLS.
Thank you!
Hi Ana,
We have already followed the steps and we have set the fonts from TAGDIV composer from Style section as well. Please check, as we have changed the font for our tdb-logo-text-title (Transcontinental Times).
Here is our test website: staging.transcontinentaltimes.com
When we inspect the element in browser, we can see the Chomsky New font but not on website
.tdi_32_6ff .tdb-logo-text-title {
display: block;
font-family: Chomsky New !important;
font-size: 50px !important;
font-weight: 500 !important;
text-transform: capitalize !important;
}
We have followed the guidelines, mentioned on : https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization
We have uploaded the .woff extension, through theme panel.
Changed the text font style and updated the website.
Not appearing the new change in fonts.
Could you help us to understand, what is required and what would be the issue?
Hi all,
I’m new with WordPress and Newsmag, just switch from PHP (Laravel) developer. I want to insert some HTML code below the main menu, this code will be existed in all page.
I see header.php but edit it seems not work, explained here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/override-header-php/
So, could you please tell me the way to archive it, using tagDiv composer?
Thank you
Hello!
For this error you can check our guide from here at point 5: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Also, try to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Please also check the page for special characters and remove them if they exists.
If you want our team to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cPanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Thank you!
Hello !
No, Newspaper Theme has been created using tagDiv composer. Unfortunately WpBakery will not work on TagDiv Composer templates.
Thank you !
The offset number is 4 , probably this is the issue but I cannot check this now because tagDiv composer is not saving changes (I have created another ticket).
Thanks anyway
Hello!
Please edit that page with TagDiv Composer and set the font from the element’s settings.
Verify if there is the same font which was set it up by you.
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello!
Edit your page for mobile from Website manager and you can add the element with TagDiv Composer how you set up for desktop version. Check this screenshot below: https://www.screencast.com/t/CL2K8yIwRGR
Thank you!
Hello!
When you edit the page with TagDiv Composer you can select the zone and add which element you need there also you can adjust them to fit in that place.
For the search to main menu, there is an element called “Header live search”. You need to edit the page with TagDiv Composer and add this element in your header.
Please note that you need to have a cloud header template in order to modify it.
Thank you!
Hello @wsg2021!
Edit that page with TagDiv Composer and check if the image size is correct or not, then set it correctly. Also, you should upload again the image in full size and set it again.
Thank you!
Hello,
We are having some problems with our website at a.avozdetrasosmontes.pt (this is currently only accessible with credentials, our staging environment can be accessed at avozdetrasosmontes.outsmartis.pt).
– When acessing the composer on the home page, it redirects to other page and we get the following error.

If we copy the code to other page, and we use the composer it works correctly.
– Similarly, we can’t edit the footer template on the composer. We created a template (“Temp footer”) to make changes there and copy the code back to the correct template.
– After logging in with a user account (no access to the wp-admin) the website acts as if the log in didn’t happen. For example, this happens on the homepage. But if we access the my account url the user appears to be logged in. This seemed to have happened after updating theme and plugins.
Please tell me how to correctly share credentials.
Thanks.
