I am using WP RSS Aggregator to create my news feeds and using the Default Demo Newspaper X theme. I have searched the forums and can’t find exactly my issue.
1. Is there a way to reduce the number of articles on the home page and each subsequent page. I am concerned about the site performing slowly and the site being a little too busy. I would like to reduce the number of articles on a page. How would I do that?
2. If you look at the site diabetes.org, you see a beautiful menu header which is actually a sidebar. I know you can make some articles as sidebars. However, how could I make the menu header Itself a sidebar instead of being aligned across the top of the page.

The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.
You can see on our demos what page loading speed score can a website loaded with content can have -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ . However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.

The easy answer is no. Due to the big difference between versions it is hard to keep all your designs since some files have switched locations and you will be facing tons of errors. My suggestion is to remove the old newspaper theme and install the new one, use a PRO demo and you will be able to fully edit it using tagDiv Composer as you can see in our video guides here: https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv

I have spoken to our developers to shade some light. So, what we normally see is the soundcloud player. In order to have the aspect that you asked you have to use a hosted mp3 file and insert the link directly to it.
In this way the looks of the player would be like the one in the demo.

We are sorry for the inconvenience that you are facing. Please note that this is not a common practice since there are thousands of users who update and they have no issue.
Please make sure that you update the Newspaper Theme as shown in our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and also make sure to update and activate all the required plugins. If the issue still persists please send us a screenshot of your System Status Tab and make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ ; You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also If you are using PRO Demos or Cloud library templates, TagDiv Standard pack is no longer required.

Can someone tell me or help me so that I can use it for myself?
I had already searched the forum, but all references to it are no longer current or end as 404.
Can that also be done with the Gutenberg editor (some things don’t seem to work with it) or do I have to change something again?

I was so happy when I discovered your NewsMag theme, but now I am not so sure as it looks very difficult to customize.
But I keep trying. I wanted to start a brand new blog with it. My site only has 1 post. My idea was to install and start posting, but I am stuck on many aspects, and one is mobile menu/search background image. I uploaded but it looks all blurry and not like in the demos.
What size should the image be?

Standard Pack is used only for default templates and not for a cloud/PRO templates. In your case, if you will use only cloud templates, then you can uninstall the Standard Pack plugin.
This plugin is no longer required because the new demos are using cloud templates.

For ‘SHOW AUTHOR NAME | SHOW DATE, SHARING, NEXT-PREVIOUS ARTICLE) ‘I don’t understand which settings didn’t work, normally if these are added with the tagDiv composer then these need to be edited with tagDiv Composer, the changes from the Theme Panel apply to the standard template, not to the single post template from the Cloud Library.

As this was not a CSS problem, I highly doubt the new tool (CSS analyzer) did the trick. So, the deve team must have implemented a fix (but didn’t share with us in the update..).
About the TD Composer, already did that (deleting and reinstalling it). It solved the AMP sharing buttons issue, but not this one..
Or is it only possible when the podcast audio file is on our server? And when it is on soundcloud we do not have at all any way on how to style the player?
Is it right understanding? So in your podcast theme demo when it is just an icon to play it, the files are not on soundcloud?

It seems, from the Newspaper PRO Demo that you sorted out the passive listener issue (at least it does not show in the PSI tests).
Sadly, this is something that didn’t come to us with the update, as Google insists in warning us about that.

The tagDiv CSS Analyzer works only for pages (mobile responsive and mobile page), but not works for posts (templates) and mobile theme plugin.
