I had run a test on http://gtmetrix.com/ for my site: http://voiceoftrust.in using the Newspaper theme version 6.6.5, and the report shows very low percentage Check: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/voiceoftrust.in/zTS8Y33v (I am using Digital Ocean Cloud Server for this this site) but when I test the demo site it should very high percentage Check: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/demo.tagdiv.com/kLi9K6bo ..? Why is that

I see you are using a CDN Service (which CDN?)as well also your JS,CSS,HTML are minified but mine is not even though I am using Cloudflair CDN.

I want to have the five latest posts, laid out horizontally on my home page, exactly like the mega menu looks. But, I don’t want it to be a menu that only appears when you hover on something. I just want the 5 latest posts, laid out in 5 columns, right below the menu. I looked at all the grids, and none of them have 5. I need it just like it looks when you roll over Gadget in the demo, but I don’t want it to be part of the menu, just a static element. What’s the best way to do this? Thanks.

Unfortunately we cannot say for sure why the sidebar created this issue. It could have been a caching issue that got resolved when reinstalling the demo. It could also be a plugin compatibility issue. Some plugins tend to rewrite some of the theme css and create issues. If you encounter the problem again, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer to see if one of them is the cause.

I installed the theme on localhost, after 2 days of tweaking the settings to get familiar with it, I noticed that the sidebar stopped being sticky. It’s turned on in settings. I read about clearing cache to fix it up, but i already have pressed uninstall demo to check if it will fix itself. After I reinstalled the demo the problem was fixed. Can u tell me where the problem came from and how to avoid it if it shows in future?

How can i show the category name in the images of the homepage.

The images show the categories like “health and fitness”, “music”, “travel” etc.
My test page using newspaper demo template shows terribly slow speed on google page speed test. I have read https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and done a few things but it doesn’t really seem to help. my question is, which steps out of total six shown on the above link are essential (I mean most crucial) to increase the speed? (and don’t say all are essential :-)). FYI, I already have changed our website to a better/faster hosting plan.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that gives you a modality to install demo manually but only automatically from the panel. -> http://screencast.com/t/WmiBtm4TQXyg All the demo’s contents are on our servers and does not exist separate files. Please notice that all contents will come bundled with our theme.

For the beginning, you should install the demo content and take a look over this so you can accommodate with the functionalities and all the features that our theme have and then should try to create your own site as you wish. You can use the demo content to create your website but is not the best way to do this because if you want to disable the demo content, which is modified by you, you will lose all your changes.

It will most definitely work on all devices as our theme is responsive and we tested this thoroughly. You can install the car demo without any concerns of responsiveness.

Do you get an error? I believe it happens due to a server configuration, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if it still doesn’t work please contact your host provider and let him know about this, maybe you have a firewall that blocks external resources import. Also please make sure you have permission for upload folder, you can try to upload an image to media library to check this.

I have checked your website with the structure data tool and saw the errors. Unfortunately these errors do not appear on any of our posts from the demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
So the best thing you can do is to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and restore your minifications. Then test your post again.

Please keep in mind if you are using a demo content to create your site always you have this status.

If you want to do not have this status with Uninstall button, you have to disable the demo content and try to create again your website without any demo content. These kinds of demo contents are intended to express some ways you can use our theme. You can choose to install or not …

I just installed a fresh installation of both WP and the Newspaper Theme. When I active the regular Newspaper demo no images load on the site. If I right click and choose show image however the images load fine in another browser window. Any suggestion on what might be wrong?
