Unfortunately the Big Slide is designed to be used on full width row and you cannot use it on 2 columns layout. You can use IOS Slider(normal slide) on 1, 2 and 3 columns like you can see on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/

In Newspaper (v5.0) we will include most of the features from Newsmag like smart sidebar feature,smart lists, some new post templates and blocks/module(as you can see in our demo Newsmag has more blocks and post styles than Newspaper). Also the Newspaper will be a bit larger as you can see right now Newspaper’s grid width is 1170px while Newsmag’s width comes around 1021px.

I purchased the “Newsmag” theme and I’m very impressed with it. But I also like (from the demo) the “Newspaper” theme and I read in the forum that you are coming out with a new version of the “Newspaper” theme. Will the new version of “Newspaper” be more advanced than “Newmag”? If so when do you expect to release it?

I’ve also tested this on various browser’s (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera) on different OS and found the expected behavior. On your site all work the same way, I haven’t found any differences between browsers as you’ve reported – the menu stays fixed at the top of the page when scrolling down and snaps on mobiles when you scroll up so it means you use this option: http://screencast.com/t/F5mztMIbnj
You need to use this option: http://screencast.com/t/DSshlFG6hwS to make the menu always snap on mobiles and desktop also. The same behavior you can find on our demo site: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ – it uses the “smart snap (always)” option which makes the menu always snap when you scroll up. If you need other functionality for this we suggest you get a freelancer to implement it for you as you need additional customization for it.

Newsticker block is included only in Newsmag theme, but we’re also working on a major update for Newspaper (v5.0) which will include most of the features from Newsmag like smart sidebar feature,smart lists or some of the post templates. Also the latest theme version is 4.6.3 which includes Visual Composer plugin(4.4.4) in /plugins folder. If you want to update please follow this guide and use FTP method – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/

A little more info: Turns out, the Product Features box I’m looking for seems to just be the Icon box, with a section for text after it. Probably styled with a header tag or class so it’s formatted nicely. Maybe that’s something the Creativo guys cooked up. It’s not part of what comes in with WooCommerce.
As far as the sidebar cutting thing goes, I’m still working on it. It does seem to stem from trying to cram in too many columns in VisualComposer, but there’s still formatting issues past the first row. I’ll try to come up with a repeatable and easier to demonstrate example later today.

You have 12 articles to this category – http://vastavalkea.fi/category/blogit/ and all those articles are displayed on your infinite load block in 6 pages if you limits post to 2. So the load more button should appear after 10 pages(not articles):
We have set “Infinite load show ‘Load more’ after x pages” to 10

We could not include the official demo in the theme because we wanted to keep the theme as small as possible. We included a smaller demo which comes with the page templates and some posts/widgets which should provide good start.

I’ve just purchased Newspaper theme for a brand new site (http://www.modern-mavens.com/) and I’m still setting the site up but I ran into a few issues. Hope you can help me 🙂
1) How to get the blue line only appear below the Home button below the menu? I see from the demo site that the blue line only appears at the bottom of the Home button but mine is all the way across.
2) The main slide on the Big Slide doesn’t stretch all the way to the 3 smaller slide on the right. How do I set it? The photo size is 700px wide.
3) Sidebar only appears on the Homepage and not on the internal pages.
4) Adsense ad units only appears on internal pages. It could be because the site is brand new without much content but just in case I missed any setting that I should know, please do let me know 🙂

I suggest you first try this without any other plugins active, leave just VC plugin active the check again.
You could also follow their documentation for the server response time and their recommendations: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/Server
To improve your server response time you can also try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load), also consider using a cache plugin and to improve the loading speed look the mysql query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html We also use it on our demo.
You can also contact your host provider and let them know about this, they might have specific info on what is the cause of this in your case.

Nope. Not author of the theme. You can, of course simply create anything in a text widget on the sidebar using CSS and by inserting your photo.
Not to be sarcastic but perhaps learn to look at the “page source” in HTML to see how things are actually done and rendered on the page, as in your example …

Was wondering if you can help me with something. I added a side Widget on my homepag called “About Me” (Image:Jetpack). I uploaded the image of myself that I want to have appear. It gives me an option to put in a caption but I am unable to change font or skip lines in the caption section. It pretty much takes all the text and combines it into a paragraph. Even if I skip a line while inputting text.
The blog sample that you have on you Newsletter theme (http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_classic_blog/) has the the same “About me” widget but also has a name (in bigger font) and another paragraph that is not attached to the name. So I see that somehow this feature is available I just can’t figure out how to add a separate name or change fonts underneath the image. Any suggestions?

The theme doesn’t output automatic the og: meta data information, but you can use a plugin for this. We recommend to use this plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin because is the best for SEO.
