Where can I add the Alexa verification code into the theme’s files? Alexa says to place it before the </head> tag, and some sites say to place it in header.php, and others say to place in functions.php. Is there a definitive answer? Thanks so much in advance!

Unfortunately that is not possible as the blog style hasn’t been build to work with the other header styles, that is why the “blog style” header was added.
What you can do though is to add the header ad to the blog style header and use it like this if this is fine for you: http://screencast.com/t/DwzlIiMkM
You just need to add this line: locate_template('parts/header-style-3-ad.php', true); in the header.php file, like this: http://screencast.com/t/Mw7MKPfJu13

1. Form theme version 4.4 we have added option in panel to show the author under the title of the post but this option when enabled will show the author just in the posts headers under the title and also in modules 1,7 and search for post layout’s.
If you also need the author to appear on the other modules you can enable it by uncommenting it from module file, like this: http://screencast.com/t/IvtjSib4cm3 Do the same for each module.
2. Actually we do seem to have some issue with tagdiv social counter plugin but first please make sure you use it right: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-manage-the-social-counter/
If still doesn’t start working please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com specifying this in your subject and we will send you the fixed version of this plugin as we had some issue with it and we managed to fix them but the new version of this plugin won’t be available until next theme update.

I’ve been using Newspaper for a local news outlet, and I’ve noticed that some features are working in a somewhat unusual way, and I’m not sure they’re showing their correct behaviour. The website is http://www.dietrolequinteonline.it but right now is not public yet.
– Is there a way to show the author name on the Custom Template Headers?
Some authors pointed out that in contrast to the default header template, the theme header templates were missing the author’s name near the category, which as you may imagine, is creating a bit of “political” issues between the authors when some posts are published for various reasons with different headers. is there a way to show the author’s name for those templates?
– Also right now the “Social Counter” widget shows just a single facebook follower, while the actual page actually sports an higher number.
Is that a bug? or is it due to the website using a “maintenance mode” plugin right now (specifically WP Maintenance Mode)?

I have problem with adblock in header ( http://www.amsyong.com ), after updating to version 4.0, now the adblock (728*90) located in fron of logo and some part of it blocking logo. In < 4.0 logo place in left and adblock in right, seems fine.
Please need help. I have research similiar thread but don’t know how to solve it.

@runnershigh You can use the .header-logo-wrap class but I have inspected your site and found that you don’t have any space left at the bottom of your logo just a margin at the top: http://screencast.com/t/xK6r1Vjc which you can set to 0 using the .header-logo-wrap class.

Try changing the logo image used for retina displays under the theme panel, header, logo, retina logo… might help.
Hmmmm… that is weird. Our site works perfectly in portrait and landscape on the iPhone 6, which I tested the day I got mine, out of paranoia (see: http://advertisingindustrynewswire.com — not self promoting here!).
In my case, the logo is a little funky top right in the landscape view on the iPhone 6, but that’s because I’m intentionally re-using logo from old site layout while playing with the theme setup, but not a problem.
One thing to double check is the advertisements settings
1) try using the latest non-beta “fully responsive” code from AdWords
2) if using older code, make sure you change the “sizes” for phones and disable the header advert for phones
3) if inserting ads inside stories, make sure they are not colliding with other images or things like long non-breaking words.
Experiment with that.
Might not be the issue, but just some feedback.

I just uploaded a background to the site mentioned above and it broke the header again. It has re-created problem 3 – the logo drooping out of the bottom of the header.
I tried re-uploading the logo sized at a height of 80px, and left your custom CSS in place, but the logo is still out of place.

As for the CSS update – I managed to fix the big slide direction and the remove the shadow but the couldn’t change the mega-menu direction and the bottom border color.
I actually want to do a couple of changes there – I want to change the whole border from white to my header BG color, and also the hover border color.
As for the menu color – I meant for the menu’s text color. my menu BG color is dark and I need to chance the text to a brighter color.
