Hi,

A quick fix for this problem with getimagesize is to adding an extra parameter in theme file, the file path is wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 792 set before getimagesize and ‘@’ like this -> https://i.imgur.com/VOWmTCI.png
This problem will be solved in the coming updates!

Thank you!

Yes I’m using a cloud header and I tested yesterday to delete the search live and put the search form. But as I said if doesn’t fit as I want.

I will prove the first one. It will send visitors to the search page the theme use? I’m using a cloud one.

Hi I have this error as soon as I activate the magazine pro with the content.

Warning: getimagesize(): https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /usr/home/puertosymas.com/web/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 792 Warning: getimagesize(https://www.puertosymas.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/logo-small.jpg): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /usr/home/puertosymas.com/web/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 792

Hi,

Please replace the above css with this one ->
.td-footer-template-wrap .tdb-logo-svg-wrap, .td-footer-template-wrap .tdb_header_logo h1 {
margin: 0 auto;
}

I think that on homepage you have set a different footer because this one has set an h1 on logo and that was way the above css didn’t work for homepage.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you want to replace the newspaper live search with a standard WordPress search widget, you can first hide the search: -> https://i.imgur.com/Bbb9iA6.png and then find a custom implementation to get a search in the main menu such as https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/205657/how-do-i-add-a-search-box-to-the-nav-menu.
Also if you are using a cloud header, you can edit it with tagDiv Composer use the right click to remove the live search -> https://i.imgur.com/u06DrJ1.jpg and add the search form -> https://i.imgur.com/Sv5mUTO.png

Hi,

For the category template that you are using you can do this only with custom css, like this one: -> https://i.imgur.com/ntVDYbd.png
.td-category-header .td-page-title {
text-transform: none;
}

This code need to be set in theme panel > custom code> custom css.

Hope it will help you!
Thank you!

Hello !

1. Please note that all the PRO demos and the library templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer, in order to change the background color / image you will have to edit all the ROWS as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/QlYxvmdoUxea | If you are using standard templates you can edit them by going into Theme Panel – Theme colors.

2. If you are using standard header ( the one from theme panel – headers ) you will have to insert it here: wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header : https://i.imgur.com/I0MEoWi.png

And if you are using cloud library templates for header you can see it here:wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_menu.php

Thank you !

Hi
I have to change the child theme but I can’t.
As with any other themes, I copy a file that interests me (e.g. single.php) from the main theme to the child theme, then I make the change, but it doesn’t appear. I have no problem modifying header and footer instead.

How can I fix it?

Hi,

The thing is that when you set on mobile, then you have a different header and that is way the ad box from desktop is no longer there, therefore you need to add it using tagDiv Composer -> -> https://i.imgur.com/q22VXMg.png drag a row in the header zone -> https://i.imgur.com/jmp9zc1.png -> https://i.imgur.com/PiBrZRA.png and now if you want you can set a background color for the row -> https://i.imgur.com/tRfYiyX.png set the ad box -> https://i.imgur.com/X3ORng5.png the the add will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Yk9IuuV.png if you want you can set on the row a some padding top and bottom -> https://i.imgur.com/Rm3hpbv.png also on desktop it will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/D00FLSJ.png and on mobile like this -> https://i.imgur.com/SbCSqBV.png

Thank you!

Hi,

Indeed the footer template is not apply like the header, for the moment this is a bit limited, you can set a different footer for pages and is working but in the way try for the moment is not working, we made a request to our developers to implement for footer the same functionality as for the header.

Thank you for your understating!

Hi I have seen that live search uses too much cpu resources for my server. I have tested to change it by search form but my header doesn´t look like as I would like. Is there any way to disable live search in the element or anywhere or I have to change to search form? (maybe I could search for another place)

Hi there, I need to increase the size the logo on the Old Fashioned Theme. I am using header 10 and I’ve read that this should show the logo at the size at upload but this is not working it is still showing the same size.

Please advise, thank you.

I’ve attempted to do that and I’m still having an issue. Also, is there anyway to expand the header so it covers entire screen even after being maximized. I’ve noticed that when I expand site on large screens the entire site sits in the middle of the page.

But in other forms can be used normally

Hi Calin, thanks!
I solved my problem by deactivating the plug-ins and activating them again, dropping my ‘headache’-theme-header-template in the bin and start creating another one.
I managed with some difficulties. I find it hard sometimes to save the work, the server sometimes hangs, but hey, I’m still standing.
If I’m getting in trouble again, I’ll be back.

Hi Calin,

Thanks for your reply, we will contact the developer team. Do you have any idea of the current workload to estimate a response time?

In the meanwhile I have another, sort of, related question. We followed the steps below:

– Created a new category, let’s call it “_XXXYYYXXX” for now (the use of the “_” is intentional so it is the very first in the list when multiple-categories are ticked for a post)
– Imported a Category cloud template.
– Edited that Category template and clicked the “Manage” button, to select a header and a footer (other than the global one) to display.
– In the theme panel, we set the CATEGORY CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE “_XXXYYYXXX” to use the Category cloud template we imported and edited. (*edit)

We then tested the behaviour under the following scenarios:
– Visit to category Page https://www.blah-di-blah.com/_XXXYYYXXX
– Visit to post where only the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked but the primary category is NOT set
– Visit to post where only the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked but the primary category is set to “_XXXYYYXXX”
– Visit to post where the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked along with other categories, but the primary category is NOT set
– Visit to post where the category “_XXXYYYXXX” is ticked along with other categories, but the primary category is set to “_XXXYYYXXX”

(*edit) We also tested the same scenarios above with the Theme Panel POST CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE option set to Inherit from Post Global Settings, as well as by selecting a cloud single template (where we had selected the same header/footer as the Category Cloud Template).

In all cases the resulting output on the browser respected the cloud template Header setting, however the Footer kept displaying the global setting.

Is that the intentional behaviour of the theme?

Regards,
Pedro

Hello !

Please try this css code and let us know the result:

.tdb_header_menu .tdb-menu {
margin-left: -13px;
}

The code must be inserted here: https://www.screencast.com/t/J1Nxw5s5

Hi,

This is a good question, unfortunately I can not say for sure that you can do it, but it should be a way to do it at list for standard templates, but these are more over me and you an get a clear answer only if you make a request to our custom services from here -> https://tagdiv.com/web-development-services/

I think that if this can be done for header and footer it can be done for post too, but how I said above, these need very good skills and only a developer can solved these requirements.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’ve inserted the MailChimp code between the <head> tags but when I click Update File I get a “nonce_failure” alert at the bottom of the screen and MailChimp says: “Hmm, we’re not able to detect your website to publish your pop-up. Make sure you’ve corrected pasted the code above into the header of your website. This can take a minute or two.”

Thanks.

Hi Vald,

Thanks for your answer. I already did search on the documentation, but it’s not enough when you try to deepen specific points.

So I’ll go with the Header Manager :
– How do you change the color of the top menu ? I can’t select the entiere row (header template 15)
– Where can i find the file to change the code of the menu ? I have a specific plugin for menu and i’ll have to insert manually its code in your theme. I wasn’t able to find the file where i have to insert the PHP or HTML shortcode.

Thank you very much for your help, see you,

Aurélien

Hi,

You are using cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library those has the id=”template-id-76894..” I think that one solution is to use a standard template (standard header and standard footer ) and not a cloud template. Please try like this and let me know!

Thank you!

Hi,

If you are using WordPress v5.5 or 5.5.1 make sure that you are using Newspaper v10.3.6.1
If the problem persists, please try the below steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).

Make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

I am running Woocommerce with the newspaper as my theme and the Membership Plugin which allows restricted content, when I enable the “Hide Content Only” it will display the header and footer, but no formatting for the text, the source shows it seems to be pulling my template as I see article id=”template-id-76894..” but there is no formating, it is just raw text. Interesting on the AMP mobile version works great, so I know it is a template “thingy” not sure where to look and edit. I have the coding skills but not sure where to look or what to set up, I am sure this might be done with some child theme or maybe way off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
