I’m meeting some problem using a shortcode in the Header AD section of theme config.
I have a shortcode like that :
[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”1056″]
I’ve tried to put :
[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”1056″]
and
<?php echo do_shortcode(“[pro_ad_display_adzone id=1056]”); ?>
in the “Your Header AD” field.
I have no results. Sometimes, just a fast “flash” with the first banner to show.
Moreover, if i put the same shortcode inside a page, in a text block, the shortcode runs perfectly.
The pugin i’m using is “WP Pro Ad System”
Do you have any suggestion?

Hi
On classic blog demo we use header style 11 which don’t have a limit for logo. Try to create a custom image by a size which you ting will fits best on your site then upload it in wordpress and use it as logo, the theme won’t affect it’s size in any way.
Are you referring at homepage post block from Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/uzTrha8kyvcc If so then you can change its fonts from theme panel > theme fonts: http://screencast.com/t/ZG0Riynnc

I’ve checked your site and ads are displayed fine, as can be seen in my screen the proper ad-spot is called on desktop: http://screencast.com/t/rYiatnDdfkqv When mobile theme is used on mobile ads are served by mobile ad-spots, and as an example the one who serve the header have a different name: http://screencast.com/t/ahL086xy
I also noticed that you using an ad system which is not tested with our theme. We tested only ad-sense and banner ads and we can’t guarantee that other ads will be displayed fine by the theme.

I have about 30px of white space at the bottom of my header. I have tried all the header styles and I have it with ever one. I have also tried changing the custom CSS based on other’s haveing similar issues I have read in the forums. I am also a developer and I cannot seem to find why the slider is not right after the header with no white space. Can you give me some ideas to look at?
I want to add social icons on the main menu bar(at right) below the header. There is an option to add social icons for the top menu but what if i want them on main menu?
I want to increase the default logo size in style3. How can i do that?

I have Newspaper 7 installed. Everything seems to work, but some of the sorting options in Visual Composer don’t work. Random posts and Oldest Posts are two examples.
I have tried this without any cache plugin, with every plugin but Visual Composer installed. I have cleaned and optimized my database, and I even tried manually adding the code to the post.
Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

I am trying to make the header at top (my logo) larger – it imports at a very small size and I would like it to look like the classic blog demo featured on your website.
Also I can’t find where to change the font for the blog post header on my home page.

The WordPress search feature sucks so badly I hardly have words to describe it–other than “sucks so badly.” It’s worthless. I have a fairly small site. I type in the name of an author. And nothing! It’s outrageously bad.
Is there a way, without a plugin, to make the search field in the header of your theme use the google custom search?
If not, what’s the best solution?

Have to understand that some plugins from wp repository they need to inject .js or .css into the header. If you move them into footer you’ll broke even the entire web. You are using a considerable number of plugins and that’s why now and in the near future you will have many many many problems (compatibility and security!!!).
For that reason, any WP themes author they make a list with compatible plugins. If you are using more than xx plugins, is almost impossible debug & make them compatible with the mother theme.
Always make test with Google Insights because is the most relevant for speed (another tools or GTMetrix is only a fellows my opinion for this circumstance, server location… etc. ).
Another problem, I’m sure that you use rules for .htaccess for expires or anything else. Take care, to much changes regularly made into .css/.js is not good for “SEO” (It is too long to explain & are trade secrets :))

I have inserted a header banner ad in gif format using the theme panel
For some reason the category url of my webpage is added before the target URL of the banner. If I am on the homepage only the homepage URL is added.
Example: The homepage url of my website is kanalfinans.com target URL for the banner is http://www.xyz.com
So the target URL or the banner becomes kanalfinans.com/www.xyz.com
If I am viewing a post in category abc then the target URL or fhte banner becomes kanalfinans.com/abc/www.xyz.com

Disabled all plugins but visual composer (I use W3 Total Cache and I disabled it as well)
Purged Cloudflare cache
Cleared browser cache
I am using Newsmag Version 3.1, WordPress 4.6.1 and Visual Composer 4.12

Some special characters of the theme don´t show up correctly anymore. It seems to have to do with the WordPress Upgrade to version 4.6.1 which I did recently. (see http://www.winbuzzer.com)

If you want to add those borders to your website, you will have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.
The code is ->
