Hi,

1. We are editing the header template directly on website from homepage.
This is strange, please make a test with a banner/image to see if this is displaying.

2. The mobile header ads should be the same on responsive as on mobile theme plugin, at list for me are working and it should work for you too, we’ll make it to work.

Thank you!

I am trying to edit my homepage using Tag Div Composer however, each time I add an element, the screen darkens (as if it’s loading the edit) but it doesn’t actually edit the page. Also, it won’t let me edit the blocks/delete the blocks. I’ve had this problem several times.

So I did exactly what u said: https://snipboard.io/4Oqcl8.jpg Now it is not showing Double Slots in desktop view: https://snipboard.io/4YNv6F.jpg
Now the only problem is: Ads not showing up in the mobile view. I have pasted the code correctly.

Just for confirmation, 1. we are doing this on the Homepage and Not in the Header Template, right?
2. As you can see, Mobile Theme Plugin shows those Below headers – Responsive ads very smoothly: https://snipboard.io/v86nBH.jpg

Then why no option like this without using Mobile Theme Plugin.

Hi,
I see that you are using a cloud header, therefore you’ll be able to edit the sticky header using tagDiv Composer , edit the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/sK7dXKV.png click on the header manager -> https://i.imgur.com/aLdGM1X.png -> and enable the sticky menu -> https://i.imgur.com/q8yeZpa.png then select the row and set on it a background color -> https://i.imgur.com/PYTkqFL.png also make sure that the row is set on default -> https://i.imgur.com/IB3IHoh.jpg then you can set the logo and click on the header menu zone, there you can check the css tab and set an opacity on the background -> https://i.imgur.com/982nyiA.png
Hope this will help you!

Yes, is displaying only the text because all the extra css is striped out by the theme, I made some tests some time ago to set an icon or button for posts titles and I didn’t find a solution, sorry! I do not say that it can not be done but I do not know a way how to achieve this. Back then I suggested to use an extra category and to use a custom css that will set an image on all posts titles that has that category, but for this the category must be set as primary in posts to be display on homepage.
Thank you for your understanding!

I used this workaround and it works… however, my thought was that the editor must enter the homepage tdcomposer and not the custom css code (which could have scared him too much). The TD Composer is more friendly for him than the custom css code…
Well, it was perfect in my mind that he could write and delete a specific class (“nascondi”, means “hide” in italian) in the extra class fields… BUT… when he put the extra class “nascondi”, the block is hidden in the backend too, and he can’t show it no more because he doesn’t see it.
So, can you suggest to me a contextual selector or class that I could use to hide this block ONLY in the frontend but not in the backend?
Thank you!!!

HI,

If this is on homepage, then you can adjust it using tagDiv Composer per each block -> https://i.imgur.com/HxsBeUR.png -> https://i.imgur.com/iYRCSKv.png also the posts in category pages should be display by default from latest to oldest.

Thank you!

Ok Calin, I understand, but…
I need your help a little bit to achieve this !

Ok, I can’t for the moment add an icon only when user is logout…

As I cannot climb the mountain I go around it :

I create some shortcodes in functions.php for my post title ( limited content)

For my test I made a blue button with a link.
It works perfect on the post as you told me.

It “nearly” works in the category and on the homepage with the blocks.

It displays the word “button” but not the button itself.
This means that it can work … I’m close, but I need a lead to be perfect!
Here is two screen shots.
Thank you
Olivia

Hi,

The code was no longer working because you’ve made some changes to your homepage, please try now -> https://i.imgur.com/j56EO6S.png
.td_block_template_8 .td-block-title > *:before, .td_block_template_8 .td-block-title > *:after { background-color: red;
}

Hope this will work.

Hello !

Sorry for misunderstanding !

It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout.
The homepage is automatically changed to a layout containing a grid showing 3 featured posts and a latest articles section.

So unfortunately nothing that you have created on desktop will be rendered on Mobile theme.

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hi,

Does the Visual composer work for editing post content or just pages?

If it’s just pages, how can I show the latest pages in one of those flex grid things on the homepage?

When I activate WPBakery it’s asking me for a license, is this not included with the theme?

Thanks,
Dan

For some reason the category pages show the header template that is different from the main header set for the homepage – I was assuming global header template was inherited by categories – how to make categories inherit it?

The editor once worked, there are no conflicting plugins and we have the requirements met, the homepage content now says that the content was not created in tagdiv, would this be from the wordpress update and then homepage opening through the classic editor that it change some code? Can we give you access to the site to see the issue?

Hi,

Yes, the SVG logo can be set on cloud templates, if you already have installed a pro demo, then you need to edit the homepage and set the svg on footer logo.

We installed Newsmag template on https://infrapress.ro/. We would like to delete “Ultimele articole” section at the end of the homepage, before footer, but it seems impossible. No posts option showing on homepage was enabled, therefore this part should’t be there. How do we delete this part?

Hi,

I have two websites with a newspaper template on which I want to set up the same homepage. There’s a look on the older site that I want to set up http://prntscr.com/umvvey. On the new website, it looks like this http://prntscr.com/umvw0o . This is the same “block 9” in tagDiv Composer. Why do they look different? I have both “show author name” and “show comment count” turned off in the template, http://prntscr.com/umwcw1. How do I set the same look for block 9?

Thank you

Pavol
