Depends on what elements you have in the structure of the page, in Visual composer. For example you can stretch a row containing a block like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/6T0CF4cl4 resulting in a full width row. In the latest update there has been added the option to have full width layout on some elements, like the header and footer – https://www.screencast.com/t/hYmPUhejTwa

There seems to be an issue with the demo install process at the moment, and we are currently investigating this issue. If in the future you decide to uninstall a demo or use another one instead, all the dummy content will be removed, so it would be best that you do not edit this content, and use your own content. Periodical website backups are also helpful and should be made.
Basically what a demo does is to use a predefined layout and populate it with content, so you can get an idea about what can be achieved using the theme. All the demo content in located in the theme folder – https://www.screencast.com/t/wxthH5w0q2 and you could use elements from them (homepage, theme panel settings, stylesheet etc) to create your website without actually installing it, if that is what you want.
You could always create your own pages using elements from Visual composer and uniquely personalize them the way you want. Or use one of the available Visual composer page templates – https://www.screencast.com/t/WLELbX1q
The child theme version in the stylesheet does not affect it’s functionality.

Hi there,
I updated to version 7.8 today and everything went smoothly. We use a child theme so the customizations were intact, except one thing. The header and footer are fully stretched as per the new feature in this version, but the main content, i.e. on the homepage and the single post pages, is aligned left.
I tried all options under templates > force full width. Only the header and footer are affected but the main content remains same.
Is there a way to avoid stretching all 3 of these elements i.e. header, main content, and footer? I’d be fine if you could give me a solution to the content being aligned left. How can center-align it? Or maybe stretch it out?

Also as you may observe the arrows on the menu and the search Icon and the social icons in the footer appear as boxes, what may be causing this and how to resolve it?

Hi, since update 7.8 my homepage was kinda messed up 🙁
I used to be able to have a big grid in a double-column row, and now it says it “Please move this shortcode on a full row in order for it to work.”. Used to work before…
Anyway, I had to change my layout and now I’m looking for the location where I can change the title font of Big grid full 2 and Big grid full 4, but I can’t find the right modules in the Theme panel > theme fonts

I’d like to know if the Newsmag theme offers any feature to hide the featured images from 4 specific articles (only the featured images), but so that the theme continues to display the thumbnail images on the homepage and category pages of the website.
Even if the Newsmag theme does not offer this feature natively, does anyone know how I can do this?
We did A/B tests here and found that the opening rate of these 4 articles without featured images is larger than the opposite, but we do not want to lose thumbnail images from the other pages so the website does not look ugly.

Where exactly do you want to use the Custom Ad 1? On homepages, post pages or pages? Provide more information about this so I can be able to provide a more accurate resolution. Above I gave you a method using the do_shortcode method which works as expected which is placed in the right place on your website.

There is currently no way to turn off the module 21 excerpt as there is no Module excerpt length under Excerpts in theme settings. Can you please provide a way for us to turn off or change the excerpt length to zero for module 21?
