In order to delete anything on a page you must edit the page using the wordpress settings http://screencast.com/t/2l6SAEH5M and then editing the page in visual composer. You can add or delete any element from the page content

As of a few days ago my smart sidebar does not show up properly in Firefox and Explorer. It does however in Chrome. Now its placed below the blocks. It does so only on the homepage, not on posts.
I did not add any plugins, I did not alter the homepage settings. I asked my hostingcompany for advice whether it could be a caching problem which they said it was not. They added a Firefox developer status, which is mostly in dutch . I will add it to this conversation as it might help
my version is Newsmag V 2.3.7 , WordPress 4.6
The visual composer plugin keeps on loading on my homepage.
I think i need to update it (i have the version 4.9).
What can I do to update it?

It seems you have the homepage set up as a list of your latest articles from wp. If you want a custom homepage layout you need to switch from the standard wp homepage to a static page from here: http://screencast.com/t/ZFoJMOcK8

You can simply create a custom link menu item and add any url to it. Simply create a new menu item, set it as a custom link and add the homepage url to it like so: http://screencast.com/t/Uj9NbLohxpZ1 but this does not mean the page will be your homepage though. If you want to set the page as home you have to select it from here: http://screencast.com/t/HYhG07HpQnGE

How do I get the Newspaper theme to work on a full blown site without messing anything up.
I was previously using Newspaper 6 on my site before I switched to another theme, after the switch which I used for some time, I discovered that Newspaper is still the best and tried switching back but when I tried to install one of the predefined layouts for the homepage, the visual composer tab kept on loading for ever.
How do I get this theme to work and how do I update to the current version without messing anything up?

I’m experiencing a strange issue on my website (www.vipinramdas.com) when accessing it through a mobile device. I have the tagdiv Mobile theme enabled. When this is active,the homepage does not show any thumbs, instead it shows the placeholder which says “Enable thumb from Theme Panel”. All the thumbs are enabled on my theme. The images show fine when I try to read a post in post view.
When I turn off the tagdiv mobile theme, the thumbnails show up fine in the normal responsive mode of the theme.

I’m runing Revive Adserver ads on my homepage, and until yesterday it was working…
It still is working in my articles… (www.icv.hr/2016/09/sjajni-marino-bloudek-s-osobnim-rekordom-drugi-800m-hanzeku)
But on my homepage it wont show all of a sudden…as you can see on the right side…it’s all white
the ad codes are just put into text widget and it all worked…
what happened??

if you could please read back your reply, it doesn’t make any sense.
however as i gigged into this matter of my own, i could see that the featured images for my posts are fetched as native LARGE IMAGE. means that the images shown in my homepage are large images which in my case was 1024px max.
all other images that bellow that line was displayed as they were.
i still wonder how YOUR THEME manages not to use your own set of thumbnails but the natives.
how ever i think i came up with a workaround by reducing my LARGE image dimensions in media settings to 480×480.
but as im having about 20000+ images it is something near HELL to rebuild those thumbs…
in my opinion it is VERY BAD IDEA to use a large 1024px featured image thumbnail .
my site was dying to load.
anyways.. you sure could & will sure improve …

Yes, it is lighter but there is also a revers for this. Like I said above there are not so many options, it comes with predefined homepage, it doesn’t have custom ad spots and so on..
Unfortunately if you want to have more ads in the post content and you want to use the mobile theme plugin you will need to paste the ad code directly in the Visual Editor as the shortcode will not work, sorry!

Can’t find answer to this anywhere so i will try my luck here.
I just set up everything today and noticed that when i use another browser to access my website, sometime it shows mobile theme on my desktop access. It doesn’t always happen, but quite often.
It works fine for my homepage, but for my post it happens a lot and quite often.
I have tried turning off set header expiry on my w3tc but it doesn’t seem to work. Is there anyway to fix this?
Looks like mobile menu and mobile search are visible on PC version, that’s why PC homepage is broken.
Also slider disappeared …

It was working perfectly until 2 days ago. When we are logged in as Administrator, wordpress Admin bar on top is being displayed only on HomePage. When we navigate one of the pages (post, pages, etc.), that admin bar on top is being disapeared.
It was working before, we didnt update anything and we didnt install any plugin, suddenly it happened. Please could you help us?

When I change between different pages/categories of the menu, there is a small delay that during a second uncofigures the style.

After thinking a lot , now I think I have to deactivate this mobile plugin till the next version updates. Is there any suggestions from you for HOMEPAGE OPTIMISATION on desktop version so that it can produce almost equivalent ( to the mobile theme) speed and optimization when being seen on mobiles? Like what are the things I should take care of.

The mobile theme dopes indeed convert the smart lists to a single predefined one just as it converts the post templates to a single predefined one and the homepage to a predefined one. The smart list on mobile is not smartlist 7 but rather “mobile smart list 1” as you can see in the code: http://screencast.com/t/xRmQ7zS2Cp
It is a new smartlist created specially for the mobile theme. We do plan on adding more options to the mobile theme. It is still in it;s version 1.0 We are still gathering info about what users need on their mobile theme so it will require a bit of patience and we will implement more options to it in the future.
If for some reason you do not like the mobile theme plugin, you can simply deactivate it and use the standard responsive version of the theme. Our theme is already responsive without the mobile theme.
The mobile theme was created as an alternative to the responsive version.

I have a really strange problem.
As you see on the homepage ( http://prntscr.com/ceepqb ) there is a space on the center of the home page. Between footer and widget element we have a space. The element Bıggrid 3 shifting to the left side. I added also the admin panel screenshot http://prntscr.com/ceeqd0 .
