Hello,
I assume that is a post template not a homepage post element in visual composer.
If it’s post template 8, then you can use this code to deactivate the breadcrumbs:
.single_template_8 .entry-crumbs{
display:none!important;
}
This will only deactivate them in post style 8. If you want to deactivate them on another post style, you can duplicate the code and change the post style number.

You can change the font color by using this custom css:

}
I only made it to apply on the homepage. If you wish to apply it across the whole website, simply delete the ‘.home’ class.

I’ve just bought this amazing theme and now I’m exploring all its features with the documentation. However, I haven’t been able to figure out how to make my mobile homepage look like the one in the demo (e.g. with a slider and featured posts). I just see the same desktop responsive version, with the same background. My newbie question is: Do I need to set up different homepages for mobile and desktop versions?
If there’s a tutorial about how to configure the mobile version, I’d really appreciate if you post the link, since I couldn’t find it yet.

I’m trying to embed a video from my Vimeo account. It embeds in the post fine.
But, on the homepage within a block, the URL appears as text. I don’t want the URL to appear. It looks bad. I’ve tried a shortcode and same thing happens. The shortcode appears as text on the homepage.
Here’s the homepage. helpuconquer.com It’s in the left-hand column and the post is test 1111.
When the video button is clicked, the post opens and the video can be played. But, how can the URL be removed from the block on the homepage?
By the way, how would I set this video to autoplay?

In the pages section in the dashboard there’s no page called homepage.I guess it’s because I never created one. Should I create one now or how else can I build the homepage blocsk.

Problem is silly but I cant’t solve this on my own. When I worked on page layout in some way I was able to set that new posts are displeyed on Grid but don’t repeat on homepage. After some changes I want to back to previous setting (post displayed on Grid and in other sections on homepage) but I don’t know where are those options.

Your template is really good! Very good optimization, interesting appearance and good solutions. However, we have more than 500k unique users per month. So I think on some additional solutions:
1. Which plugin to rating comments you recommend? Now we use Rating-Widget: Star Review System.
2. Can you recommend any cache plugin? (working with your theme ofc)
3. Can you recommend any “security plugin”, eg: plugin changing wp-admin/wp-login.php links? Or any other plugin?
And two additional questions:
4. We have problem with Article inline ad. We dont know why this ad display under “Article top ad”, so we have than two ads one after the other.
5. We dont want display sidebar widgets on homepage. Any idea how to hide it? We dont want install any plugin. CSS will be enough for us. It is the best solution?

td_block_homepage_full_1.php block in my frontpage.
the block calls the title of the post with:
<?php echo $td_mod_single->get_title();?>
this echos the title in h1. How can i change this ONLY FOR THIS block to h2 ?

For #1 – That’s unfortunate because I could have sworn that website is using this exact theme and has that feature on their homepage. It looks great too.
For #2 – Is it possible to insert just a single post or “popular posts” or “recent posts” widget into the menu. That’s what it appears is going on in the image I attached in the original post.

this is the default behavior of the theme. This was a design choice that was made in order to not have lots of different colors on the homepage. Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this as they are 2 different category tags (posts and homepage blocks). There is a workaround to get the post category tags on teh homepage, but this will cause the blocks to display more than one category tag on the homepage as the function for posts grabs all categories. This will involve editing the theme files though.
Please use this code: http://pastebin.com/2yaGiCXK It is the whole file. Delete the code from your td_module.php file (newspaper/includes/wp-booster) and replace it with the one provided! (Make sure you get the raw paste data)

In the category post area in the admin there is an option to change the color for that specific category tag on that category page but that tag color only shows on the category page and not when that post is featured on other pages like the homepage.
For example on my homepage I have several posts from different categories and even though I have the category tags set to different colors on the specific category pages, they are all the same color on the home page. Is there a way to make the category tags on the homepage turn to the category tag color specified in the category settings on rollover?
It looks like right now the overall theme accent color is overriding all tag colors when they are not on the category page. Any way to turn that off?

My arrow icons, search box, social media icons, and page tabs aren’t loading correctly.
1) I have setup my php.ini file correctly according to the documentation.
2) Reinstalled WordPress on Godaddy Hosting
3) Installed & Activated theme
4) Installed included plugins like Rev Slider, Tag Div, etc…
5) Installed demo content
No caching plugins are installed and these elements / icons aren’t showing up correctly. Please help me!

I want my home page to be static full width which will have stuff like menu at the top and then different section as in what my company does. For example section for portfolio, customer’s review etc then on the menu I want to have link of blog which after clicking will take users to blogging section and then it will have it’s separate menu apart from the top one. Containing the blog posts as usual. Just for the example. My homepage will look similar to this imalreadyhere.com. Is this possible ?
