Hi,

I think it’s called that!! At the bottom of my page content continue sto gon on for ever. I tried to stop this by filtering out the search. Now it always says ‘no posts to display’ at the bottom of my page all the time..

I am happy with the catagories in blocks I have selected on the homepage. I do I stop other content from looping below continuously. I did fix it by accident befor update to Newspaper 6, but can’t remember

I have am using the same side bar throughout my website, but for some reason the posts that display in both the editior’s pick (which is set to display ‘featured” posts) and the most popular (which is set to popular “all time’) blocks on the homepage aren’t correct. They work in the sidebar on other pages and on posts, but not on the static front page where they seem to just display random posts…

Hello,
I have added a new block element (block 1) in my homepage so as to have the articles of a specific category displayed. The weird thong is the the articles are not displayed…
I also have a problem with Block 19; the articles are not displayed unless you click on “All” (ajax). I would like the articles to be displayed by default.

Could you help? Do you use teamviewer? So as to arrange a session when we can show you the problem live.

I’d like to remove the views counter from the slide in homepage.
I used the code below

and it worked fine on one of my websites (www.gamesprincess.it).
The other one (www.techprincess.it) is stuck at zero.

Hi — I just switched to the Newspaper 6 theme, and installed the regenerate plugin and run the procedure.

But if you look at my page (http://blog.kozzi.com) the theme is not using regenerated thumbs, it’s using the full size images that was uploaded at the ‘Featured Image’ (right click and download the thumb on homepage downloads the full size image)

So I tried a fresh post with a new images and still — same thing.

This is greatly slowing down my front page.

Hi, I need an help, because I’m a newbie of wp. I need to know how I can give a different destination for each block of the homepage.

I.e.: if I write a news, I see the same news in many blocks of the homepage, on the top;Immediately below and so on… I need to to create different categories for each block of my honepage

For example: on the top only evidence news, under the top: political news etc… If you want go to http://www.tenerellinews.it and you see what I mean

I just purchased the Newspaper theme and I installed the Newspaper 6 demo into WordPress. Everythign with the install went fine, but when I go to view my site, the images on the home page different than the ones shown in all of the video tutorials. Also- the images on the big slider on the homepage have a grey overlay to them. For example, rather than seeing the face of the blond girl like the examples show, my homepage shows an image of a bridge. Please help!

We really like how the image is full bleed, i.e. it takes up entire width of screen for either the post or front page per the demo below:

So we’re trying to tweak performance after a long dialogue with our managed wordpress host (Synthesis). I hadn’t appreciated quite how much of a performance hit the theme can take on a server if all the “cool” bits of functionality are activated. We were starting to have 3 – 5 mini (60-120 seconds) outages on the site every day.

The main issue seems to be the number of times admin-ajax is hit on the server – we’re being told it’s thousands of times per day and after a bit of research on this forum and the latest (v1.5) of the theme we see there is quite a hit on numerous elements. So far we’ve done the following:

– Enabled Optimized ajax pre-loading on Mega Menu and the few blocks on the homepage that have ajax filters
– Disabled post view count
– Disabled comment count
– Disabled related content (replaced with Jetpack Related Content that offloads that to another server)
– Disabled more articles box

We’re going to monitor performance from here and see how it goes but wanted to see what other elements folk here would suggest monitoring and possibly disabling? Main next culprit would be Ajax View Count but i’m concerned about caching causing wrong pageview counts (although with the post view count disabled the only thing this would power now would be the trending now box on the homepage and the popular this week list in the footer).

Thoughts?

Earlier today I moved a block on my Homepage and decided it’s position wasn’t what I wanted and went to move it back and now for some reason I am only able to move the first 2 blocks on the homepage page builder. I can’t see or access the other 10+ blocks. For some reason when I love the edit page the top left icon in the page builder keeps loading. The icon that links to wpbakery.

I am able to add more blocks, but I can’t see them to edit them.

For some reason the window just doesn’t want to expand the height for all the other blocks to display.

I’m trying to add a section title to my homepage to go over a non-Block Visual Composer element. Right now I just have an empty “Text with Title” element with my carousel element under that. However, that’s causing uneven spacing (as circled in the screenshot)

Is there a better way to accomplish this or remove the spacing between the elements? Also, how do I add a URL to the Title in the “Text with Title” element? It’s an option on the Block-related elements, but not in the “Text with Title” element.
