Hi, I just installed the new version and my homepage is gone. Also, I can not find the social plugin. If I had known all this would not have installed the new version … I have no time to redesign my website now.

Can anyone help me?

With the update to 6.1 my homepage has shifted a bit to the left on mobile cropping out a letter and leaving a little white space on the right side. Any clue?

OK – On my homepage big grid 2- there is no color behind the title. I would like to add a color, please.

I tried this from another post – but no luck:

I saw on another thread that 6.1 would be released by the end of the week. Does that mean we’ll get the update today?

Great work on the new theme! But I decided to wait for 6.1 after having issues with the VC and the homepage.

Hi all.
After much struggling I seem to have got the Newspaper 6 theme set up. For my Homepage, About and Contact I have used the pre-set page templates. The problem is I just cannot get the sidebar to appear on any of my post pages. I’ve gone to my postpage and used Visual Composer to set the right sidebar template, and also to set a widgetised sidebar but nothing works. When i look in Appearance – Widgets there is no sidebar box. Any ideas on how to get this showing?

Also, At the top of the homepage is the Category Top Posts Box which shows highlights of your content. How do I set it and select what is featured in the box?

I’ve been searching the forums but cannot find a solution to a few issues I have with the slider on my homepage on htt://www.hisoverhers.com

1) On the top left-hand coerner the category name is displayed in a red box and in front there is a shaded/dark grey box with no text. I have noticed that on review posts that box contains the stars given for that review. I only want that shaded/dark grey box to appear on review posts, if possible, or otherwise not to appear at all.

2) I want my slider to look like the one in your demo. With big visible arrows and the text inside the image and not starting outside of the image. Right now the arrows are tiny and on the edges of the slider.

3) In your demo the slider works well in mobile. But when I open my site the post tittle font is huge and does not resize. The result is that text is not displayed properly and the slider looks awful on mobile.

I recently installed Newspaper 6. I installed a demo layout and in the Theme Panel selected the layout I wanted for all my Categories. All the category landing pages look great but the Homepage doesn’t seem to have had that same style applied. How do I customise the layout of my Homepage?

Basically I wanted http://buzzhut.co.uk/ to look like http://buzzhut.co.uk/category/games-2/ and http://buzzhut.co.uk/category/gadgets/

Where do I go to do this?

i used newspaper v4 and upgrade to v6. I really like the layout but i can’t seem to change the logo size.
In v4 in the header logo section i uploaded and selected medium size. But now i can’t seem to update the size nor would it change.

Another problem is the big slide on the homepage seems like the images don’t fit the entire width of the box.
i don’t know if this a problem with the speed booster plugin.
I did remove it and now my images disappeared. I would appreciate your help

I know this theme has a lot of greatness about it, and the demo looks ace, so perhaps this theme is wasted on me – my question is .. where to start?

On the demo, I only really wanted the theme to look like the Homepage – Blog part –

Am I best to start with installing the content from the demo, then working back by deleting all posts?

I attempted to make a new page, and called it home, I clicked on ” Templates ” and selected the ” Homepage – Blog ” and it said it’s added – but im not sure exactly what it’s done, or if that’s right, so didn’t click publish, Im worried im going to mess up the theme! :-\
