Dear nalfolf, thanks for taking your time to respond to one of the three issues that i raised. I would like to let you know that i already knew that the VC plugin in free before making my purchase. However i don’t understand why its asking me for update after installation. As i mentioned i have deleted it twice and installed it afresh from the plugins folder that came with the theme that i bought but still the same problem. Thats why am asking for help!

2. Also My thumbnails are greyed out! I have followed the steps on your tutorial and installed Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. Which regenerated all the images successfully but they are still greyed out. I need Help!!!

3. My site is not displaying well on Mobile phone.

I have read the tutorial and tried all the steps mentioned for the above questions but no success! I have also posted these questions to the seller but no response.

Given the above, I have rolled back to basic wordpress theme to make my website user friendly for viewers because no help is forthcoming from the seller which is so discouraging yet i have datelines to meet.

Call me crazy; but adding a section/tab in the theme panel “update plugins” might be useful to explain these same topics that come up over and over (and over).

Info on installing optional plugs are there, but maybe links to “how to update” in forum would be good, too.

Try to login on the server via ftp, navigate to your-wp-install/wp-content/themes and delete Newspaper folder. After this step is completed you can try to upload Newspaer.zip file in your wordpress or directly upload Newspaper folder via ftp. There was a conflict between Mobile theme plugin and SEO By Yoast plugin. Try delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.

I find out the problem, I installed a plugin that doesn’t work with the theme. After I uninstalled it everything went back to normal.

Theme’s layout relay on a fixed width by 1068px and there are no options to change this value. Also all theme’s blocks and modules have fixed sizes for featured image. The slide uses different thumbs depending by layout used for it bu non of theme are squares. The size of any element can be changed only adjusting theme’s code.
When Revolution Slider is installed in Visual Composer will be available those blocks: http://screencast.com/t/cxTtWSrga7O

Basically first three requests involve custom work in order to achieve the desired result and unfortunately we can’t offer such services at the moment. If you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps that must be taken in this regard my advice is to look for someone who can help you with implementation or hire a developer to do it for you.

1. Deactivate and remove the VC plugin from WP dashboard
2. Install WP-Optimize plugin and delete the transient
3. Go to the folder plugins in your theme, unzip the js-composer. You’ll obtain a js_composer folder
4. Log in to FTP and upload this folder (js_composer) into the plugins folder
5. Log in WordPress, go to the plugins and activate again VC
6. Delete your cache

P.D.: take care, sometime when unzip/unrar compress files is generate folder into folder. I mean you’ll see a folder and inside that folder you have again another folder with the same name. Always use the folder that is inside for upload to FTP.

Try to update the theme according with our documentation and make sure you do a clean update. By this I mean that you have to delete the old version of the theme and upload a fresh copy in WordPress or directly on the server via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
During the update process deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer and after the update clear all caches, purge the cdn if you’e using then test the site again.

Demo won’t affect your site’s content. If you import the demo with content your pots will remain untouched, this also happens if you want to uninstall the demo.

I’ve checked the indicated link and the issue is no longer visible. Moreover I’ve noticed that you changed the position of image’s caption which may lead to some issues in some circumstances. I’ve also made a few tests on my side and couldn’t duplicate the issue.
Keep in mind that the theme is carefully tested and it works as expected. You changed lots of theme’s default features and those changes may cause issues. As a reference you ca do a test install on a sub-domain or on your local computer only with Newspaper theme and the plugins included in its path. Like this you will be sure that any possible issue is not caused by a plugin or by some customizations.

With regard at Speed Booster I can say for sure that the plugin works fine. From above resources only on is called by the theme, the fonts from google. Anyway Speed Booster will move any css.js resource it’s added in code and also if the plugin is active in System Status.
