Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just the Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

hi I am installing wordpress on my linux hosting where I am stuck with the below option. There is option to choose automatic update. Which one should i choose ?. Should i let godaddy update wordpress version automatically ?. Will this crash my website if the wordpress version gets upgraded and not the theme ?.
Automatic Update
a) Do not automatically update.
b) Update to new minor versions and security releases.
c) Update to any new version.

I have checked your source page and your console and I have notice that you have a js error in it. This conflict might be caused from your untested plugins which you are using in our theme. Please try to disable all of these, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Like I say I only have the theme’s installed in a local environment at this point, and won’t be uploading to a server until I’ve finalised a few concepts. Is there possibly anywhere I can send some screen shots or things of that nature that will make it easier for you??

If you want an accurate response in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer, right? First of all, please ensure that you have og:image is present in your source page in order to achieve bets results. Also, please notice that all of these settings are controlled by Seo Plugin, like as Seo Yoast and not from our theme. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Inspecting your source page I have notice that you are using the wp Rocket plugin..please try to disable it and try without it. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN systems and check the results.

Do you refer to the policy of the theme? Normally the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed: http://screencast.com/t/NqzloVgyUJB.

Hello, I am re-doing the latest theme from 1.7 on 3.(I forgot but latest). But I have noticed a few things changed. I am working with the Child Theme so if I update, I won’t loose anything.
First Question:
From previous install, there was a header.php section in the Child Theme, now there isn’t (only 2-3 files). I needed to add some code in the header. How would I go about doing this?
Second:
I successful removed the Comment button that displayed on the homepage with the following code:

display: none;
}
However, it still displays the comment button, date and author on tag and category pages. I wanted to have this removed site-wide. How would I go about this?

So, first of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins in order to achieve best results. Very important in this case is that you theme installing should have to be done using the FTP method because this is the surest method in this regard. I set my media settings Large; 850×850, Medium;650×650, and thumbnail;450×450
Im only using newspaper theme plugins (rev, visual etc)
before I install Newspaper theme, i can choose large as 850px, medium as 650px and thumbnail as 450px to insert image to my post
But after installing Newspaper theme, while im writing post, when i try to insert image from media library; large is 640px, medium is 640px.. and im not using sidebar..
I am working on my local server, so there is no way to show you..
but 3 times i install fresh wordpress and fresh newspaper.. after installing newspaper these sizes changes..
I want to keep my own settings..

Just installed this theme and was wondering if there is any way to make the content box larger or fill whatever screen it is on when viewed on desktop.
Right now just by default the website looks extremely narrow and scrunched with huge margins on either side. I would prefer that the content box is larger. I would prefer the content boxed but with smaller margins on either side so that the box pretty much fills whatever sized the page to appear almost wide screen.
If a fluid setting is not available, can I at least make the content box wider so as to decrease the margins of the background on either side. maybe in a percentage so that it will look appropriate on whatever size desktop screen.

Hi! After a fruitless sequence of e-mails about this subject, I took the time to prepare a better way to show you what is wrong and that it is related with the theme. No, it’s not because of Jetpack, or image alignment or anything else. It’s because of the theme:
1) I installed a fresh testing WordPress just for this. No plugins at all, nothing.
2) I changed media settings to have large thumbnails with 696px width: http://www.screencast.com/t/6SC0sjhjW
3) I uploaded an image using the default WP theme. All good, the large size shows up as 696px: http://www.screencast.com/t/8jh2NtiEw6z
4) Then I switched to your theme and there we go, no more 696px available for the “large” dimension but the odd 640px, for no reason, which is what I was complaining about in my initial post: http://www.screencast.com/t/H9zAnrHgoP

The sticky sidebar is against Google Adsense TOS? Thats new for me. I thought the “floating box” was talking about that intrusive ads that pop up in the middle of the screen, never thought about the sticky bar.
BTW, maybe the installation of the theme went wrong or something, I’ve installed this and Newsmag without a problem. Good luck.

My speed booster is active, My site looks so light, I barely install plugins, theres only one adsense banner… I just use TagDiv’s plugins…
