I was using Newspaper theme on Main and staging site. After 2 days I have deleted the staging site. Now I have created staging site again to fix some issue. But I am unable to assign theme on staging site. It is showing message “To use a license key on a different domain, you can unassign it from the list anytime after 2022-08-02 04:20:57 UTC + 02:00.” That mean I have to wait till one month to install theme on staging site again. I think this is not fair to wait for a month to fix an issue. Please help me with this. It is very urgent to fix the issue.

It would be best to do an install on localhost, staging or subdomain where to create the new site.
Once it is ready, it can be migrated (using a migration plugin), or as the case may be, only the settings from the theme panel, the created pages and cloud templates.
For theme panel settings there is an option in the theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/, but the pages and cloud templates must be copied manually (the code from each cloud template and each page on the staging must be copied and put on the live site in new pages / cloud templates).

If it is in the mega menu, then please delete tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library and install them from Newspaper> plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/TatsQds.png
If the problem is on a category page, then a block may not be filtered by the current category. To solve this problem you need to edit the cloud category template with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/0VgqFfS.png, select the blocks and in filter ab make sure that are set on current category -> https://i.imgur.com/lSUNl9x.png

You need to update the whole theme with the tagdiv plugins.
Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ ( do a full backup of all files and databases before updating), by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. Also, please do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make sure the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, etc.

To have the automatic updates option, you had to have version 10.3.1 and from version 10.3.2 you could use this option -> https://tagdiv.com/introduction-to-newspaper-theme-automatic-updates/

1. I believe that you are referring that you have more subcategories under the “Astuces” category and those are not display. This is because there is set a limit on the subcategories for the mega menu. This can be changed using the tagDiv Composer. Edit the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/o2konO3.png, click on the menu and search after the “Subcategories limit” -> https://i.imgur.com/6xorrdi.png then just replace the number
2. This can be a problem from the theme plugin files. Please be sure that you are using the latest theme version 11.5.1, after that please disable and delete the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library plugins and reinstall them from Newspaper > plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/i1sZPjr.png this should resolved this problem.

I have Newspaper theme installed. Licensed and up-to-date theme. It used to work without any problems, but after a while it started to cause problems in a way I couldn’t understand. When you enter the management panel of the theme and change any settings, the theme does not save this setting. The loading screen keeps spinning around but never ending.
I have deleted and reinstalled the theme and even wordpress many times, but the same error persists. Today, I noticed that when I import old theme settings, it starts giving such an error. So I’m installing the theme, restoring everything else (pages, plugins, etc.) no problem, but after restoring the theme’s settings from the theme’s settings panel, it creates this problem for me. It’s fine when I don’t restore the theme settings. I also need to install it because there are a lot of tweaks.
PHP version or limits all as they should be.
What could cause this problem?

thanks for the reply. I’m familiar with updating themes manually. Just trying to get grip on the new way in v11, as i like the addition to be able to update the theme through the wp-backend (apart from staying updated/safe/etc).

I manually added the files (v11-theme and child in ‘wp-content/themes/’, plugins in ‘wp-content/plugins/’) on a clean devsite. Then i already get the message: “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Newspaper” parent theme.”

I read that i should add the plugin ‘standard-pack’.
When installing it also says to add the plugin ‘tagdiv composer’. But we’re using the WPbakery composer – and i read we should only use one? For now i let them both co-exist.

Install the mobile plugin.
Create a template for a post or any template.
On Gutenberg, disable the mobile plugin as indicated by Calin. View the page, and it will show as I described.

When I delete Newspaper theme and reinstall it. Old customization also get automatically reinstalled. I have also deleted theme using FTP but each and every previous setting also get restored. Please help me with this.

You indicate that it seems little to you that it has 512MB assigned in the WordPress and PHP limit. It seems outrageous to me that a static website (not dynamic) and without plugins like WooCommerce is requiring 218MG. I pay €300 a year to only host this website at Webempresa (I don’t think the host is cheap or bad at all) Could it be that without CPT UI the template was light and now after little changes were made that were necessary more than a year the consumption of resources has skyrocketed? Do you really see normal 218MB taking a look at my website? And, don’t you find it strange that with only one TagDiv composer or Cloud Templates the resources are normal -/+60MG and when both are activated this can reach up to 218MG? There is no option to take a look at the installation in case it is causing any problems on your part.

sometimes, my site show the normal version, not AMP.

so, i’ve installed newspaper on my website and first main page is loading just fine, but after opening ANY other link, there is an 404 error.
I’ve checked logs from our server and it seems that one of the files is missing:
File not found [/home/kt24/domains/website/public_html/td_module_flex_2_title_excerpt/index.php]
Did anyone have the same issue ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
