I put that code into custom css but nothing changes. The text is floating.
So the plugin has created problems? If I deactivate it, will everything be rearranged or will I have to reinstall the theme? What do you suggest?
Thank you for responding. Since there is no ART CREEK SPECIFIC SLIDER included in the Newspaper 9 am I able to install any of the sliders into the ART CREEK theme or do the provided sliders only work in the theme the slider is named after?

Looks alright now from what I can see. The plugins you were using were causing the issue if now it works when they are deactivated. Not all plugins will work with all themes. Some may work with one theme while with another one they won’t.
Also be sure to have enough wp-memory – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
We recommend a value of 256M if possible. Having insufficient memory may lead to crashes as you install more and more plugins.

This is how I have updated the theme installing (using the WordPress method). I have been using this method for updating since I purchased the theme with all kinds of updates over the years without problem. If WordPress update method is an option why do you recommend FTP? Thanks.

That is what I was doing to suggest next, maybe files from WordPress have been affected by the quarantine or removed completely because of the infection. WordPress does have a reinstall option – http://prntscr.com/n0yg53

I have created a simple custom field called personName in a post.
I have installed td-api-plugin, created a page and I use “Block 77” in this.
I want the value of this custom field to show up under the post’s title in that page.
Let’s assume that I create this custom field with key “personName” and I give it a string value.

I have tried various ways, like having that string in “Subtitle” and tried to display the post’s subtitle in the page, under each post’s title or excerpt but with no luck.

Please make sure that you are using the plugins that came with the Newspaper version that you have install.
Also please make sure that you have the last version of theme, before to make the update please make sure that you make a full backup to your website.

I could not re-install the theme via wordpress since nothing works on the back end, I tried to go through the installation via FTP. I tried login in afterwards and the back end remains the same, while the front end says “stylesheet missing”. I was actually wondering if what I need to re-install is wordpress and not the theme, since it is the regular wordpress functions that are not working, but the question is how do I re-install the wordpress without losing the already existing data and content especially the posts made since 2years ago on the website.

If you want to update your theme, we recommend to do it manually, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ via FTP way. This is the most healthy and safe method. You need to download the latest theme packet from your Theme Forest account and then, follow the steps from the documentation.

OK yes that is what it looked like, so I suppose I need to reinstall the theme update, then immediately go into the plug-ins menu and update TagDiv composer. I was under the impression that the theme plug-ins would update automatically, along with the theme, by using the Envato Market plug-in to install the theme update.

I want that all my categories archives use the same template, but I want that in the first block (Big Grid 5) apears only 3 posts from the current category.
Is it possible or I’ve to duplicate the template for each categories and change in each one template only the “Big Grid 5” filter?
You need to properly configure robots.txt and disable indexing these directories, you will get rid of the error and unnecessary traffic from the robots
