is the described problem the only one with the Members-Plugin or are there other problems?

As my client has a lot of plugins in his WordPress-Installatin: do you have lists with which Plugins Newspaper works and with which not?

Hello, After updating Newspaper to 12.6.5, necessary plugins to display the homepage such as tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Newsletter, tagDiv Mobile Theme, tagDiv Standard Pack, … automatically deactivate a few hours after I activated them. I have tried many ways to fix this error such as reinstalling the plugin, deactivating other plugins to check conflicts but the situation has not changed, my website cannot display content. Please help me to fix this error. Thank you very much.

Transition from TagDiv Standard Pack to Cloud Templates - reply

Hello!

You can install any demo without content. If you install the demo with content, then, of course, it will replace all your content and design as well. If you install a demo without content, then it will replace the previous design.
You can return the previous design only if you have a backup.
You can import only some sections or templates of your current-designed pages from those demos. The template’s manager is in Cloud Templates. You can preview the demos here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/.

There are the header and footer recreated from the default PRO demo. So, you can use them, and they are cloud templates that look similar to the default ones.
If you do not like any demo style, then you can create a page from scratch by installing a blank page and customizing it in the tagdiv composer. Please check out this video about how to create a website from scratch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg

Hello,

Please let me know what version of the theme you have on the websites.
Please update the theme to the latest version 12.6.5.
This malware infects not only theme files but also WordPress files or other plugin files. This malware was not detected only in our theme but also in many other themes and plugins https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/massive-balada-injector-campaign-attacking-wordpress-sites-since-2017 / -> https://cybernews.com/security/wordpress-malware-epidemic-balada-injector/ -> https://www.geoedge.com/balda-injectors-2-0-evading-detection-gaining-persistence /
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, reinstalling the theme, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.

Hi Darcy1968, there are no malwares and I can assure you because envato check each package that is set on themeforest.
The problems you are facing are related to the fact that you tried both themes and the theme plugins were no deleted, as example, the Newsmag theme is not compatible with tagDiv Standard Pack and will create critical errors. Also, all the tagDiv plugins from Newsmag are different from Newspaper, so when you want to try one of those themes, you’ll need to make sure that all tagDiv plugins are deleted, otherwise you’ll face critical errors. The themes are similar and the theme plugins but the code inside theme are a little different, so what you’ll need to do is before installing the theme to make sure that there are no tagDiv plugin (those starts with td-), after that you can install the theme and the theme plugins will be automatically installed when you’ll install a prebuilt website.

URGENT!!!! Hi I have sent an email with my login information to contact@tagdiv.com with the login to my wordpress.

Desperately need help I have lost hundreds of dollars in sales and Pinterest is going to discontinue my Verified Merchant Status. I am losing sales on Amazon and on my webshop. Please, this is my livelihood I need help.

My checkout pages are not working properly due to this update not being installed correctly by the theme. Please email me or let me know that you can help update these Woo Pages.

Hello,

I have just updated the theme. As usual, all of the TagDiv plug-ins are missing and need to be re-installed. However, I cannot find them anywhere. When I go to “add plug in” and type in “tagdiv” nothing comes up. If I search “newsletter,” I cannot find the TagDiv newsletter. I also need the composer, cloud library and the standard pack. How do I add these back in?

Hi,

My site was originally setup using the TagDiv Standard Pack. Now want to transition entirely to Cloud Templates but unsure of the process. Is there a tutorial to guide users through this?

Questions that come to mind:

When the site was first created, we used a prebuilt demo as a foundation to work with. Should that demo be uninstalled?
Creating new headers and footer cloud templates – is there a way to import the standard header and footer as we have them configured, or must we start from scratch?
Page Templates (Homepage and Page) – are these necessary if the pages are already built manually using composer?
When a cloud template is imported, it automatically scales to fit the width of the site. Is there a way to change that width site wide? I assume the width is derived from the original installed demo.

Hello! In order to invite comments from readers, i am looking forward to implement the following. would the following be possible?

1. Readers can comment on sections and subsections of posts[as configured during the post writing by admin].
2. The comments can be deleted by admin and controlled by admin. [the number of comments, expansion and such]. For example just a view comments button.

I tried to achieve this via the bb press plugin.
i also installed and configured a facebook plugin correctly.
the name of the plugin is facebook Lazy FB Comments

So basically a facebook typ of [like,comment,share], option wherever required via the editor or via a shortcode.

Thank you Anamaria. I reinstalled theme (updated) and plugins. Seems to fix it. I also checked all the steps you mentioned above. All done except couldn’t find /wp-json/tdw/save_css. /wp-json/ doesn’t seem to exist.

It seems to be working since yesterday.
