This could be the use of both tagdiv composer and visual composer or it could be your customization. There were no full width headers in newspaper 7.4 so I asssume you have custom code implemented. Please try to create a testing platform (a sub-domain) and make a fresh install of wordpress and the theme.
Also please bare in mind that newspaper 8 comes with it;s own page builder so you cannot use both. Choose one or the other but not both at once as both page builders together create layout issues. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.
2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with.

So you are setting a logo in the theme panel, and it is not displayed on the website. That could be caused by caching, try clearing all caching installed.
Or what happens is that you set the logo in the theme panel, and the setting is not saving. If that is the case please check while saving, in the browser inspector console to see if there are any errors

It seems a required file from the composer is possibly not found on the server, try deactivating and deleting the composer and install it again. Then check if it works properly.

The MCE editor is added and can be used on category descriptions, if you have the Yoast SEO plugin installed. But it could be enable differently, there are solution online that you could try. Or simply install Yoast SEO and it will be available.
For different excerpt lengths on the same module types, you will have to set them manually for each post.
The excerpt field should be visible in each of the post edit screens, if it is not please check if it is enabled in the screen options

Hello I have hacked 3 websites with newspaper, he stressed that the theme is original. The fact is that I got windows from a deceptive pub website called cloudfront.net and I do not know how to remove it, it used the wordfence plugin, Brute-Force Anti-Malware and the technical service of my server says that there is no virus in the server and the domain. That will probably not work, the post sharing is not intended to appear on pages. The easiest solution would be to try some sharing plugins, install a few and try them.

I assist with a long running website: mirrorboxtherapy.com.As part of an upgrade we installed the Newspaper 8 Theme. Although the site work and currently looks OK at the front end. We can’t log in to the dashboard to do updates or housekeeping. We get a login box but after entering our username and password, Firefox gives the message “The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”
Likewise Edge says “Hmmm… cannot reach this page”.
If we disable the theme by renaming it on FTP then we can log-in and change the theme. We have deleted and then re-installed Newspaper 8 but once it is activated the problem returns. It is therefore somehow connected to the theme. Please advise as to how this may be corrected.
I deactivate VisualComposer of my blog and installed the latest version of NewsPaper.
I tried to create a new page using TDComposer and when I add any new element that’s all I see (I added image to this post). It’s not loading anything, just keep waiting indefinitely.

That is what that setting is suppose to do. It allows you to customize the colors of the block titles. I have tested this setting and it is working properly

If it is not working for you please try to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching installed. Then check if it is working properly.
If you can provide a link to your website and mention a block or blocks where you have set a color and it is not applying, we will inspect it.

You can ask your hosting provider to help you, or maybe they can make the changes for you. Insufficient resources can cause the composer to not function properly.
Then try using the composer again. If you have the Yoast SEO plugin installed, make sure this option is disabled, it has been identified to cause problems

Please try and test without the ad implementation you currently have. Remove all ads/plugins and test again. It seems that it takes a considerable amount of time loading the ads.
Then try deactivating or reducing the number of images displayed in the footer Instagram.

I have a problem with weather widget – sometimes it shows prediction for 6 days instead of 5 days, see image.
I thought it is caused by caching plugin so i uninstalled W3 Total Cache and installed recommended WP Total Cache but the only change is that my speed insights results have worsened (10-15 points both for mobile and desktop). This error appears mainly in the evening (UTC+1).

Its not loading it Chrome and in Safari it is giving me an error – “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!”

we are migrating our website from Media Temple to Digital Ocean custom machine (x5 specs). We configure everything on the new machine to fit wordpress, theme structure and requirements. By the way the website in the new hosting enviroment run super slow (in the front end) and wordpress use onle 15% of server CPU and DB.
We try to fix by reinstalling the theme and all the plugin but nothing change. We cant understand what resource slowing the loading time of the page. If you check pingdom for a test, the result says that the website has 15/30 seconds of wait time. We can not figure out where the problem comes from but we’re sure it comes from the theme, as the site is a super fast with other themes.

So the problem is that you cannot install the tagDiv composer and social counter. Try installing these plugins by FTP if they cannot be installed otherwise

Place the unzipped plugins in the plugins directory in the WordPress install, then activate them in the plugins section.
