I am using NewsMag 4 and Fashion demo installed. On the demo home page the site title/logo “Fashion News” is large text with a lot of white space above and below, pushing the main menu bar down.
When I replace the logo with my own text logo at recommended 300 pixels wide it appears much smaller with minimal space above and below and the main menu bar moved way up. I’ve increased the size of the logo progressively up tp 1800 pixels but it’s still way too narrow and space closed up vertically. There seems to be some effect limiting the size.

That can be caused by caching plugins. The mobile theme is sensitive when it comes to caching. You could try to use the WP Super Cache plugin if possible

You should use either tagDiv composer or Visual composer. Do not edit pages created in one of the composers, with the other. The tagDiv composer will automatically be installed and activated when the theme is installed or updated

Please keep in mind that all the time you should have the latest theme version installed on your server if you want to achieve good results. To upgrade your theme, you simply download the latest packet from Theme Forest and via FTP way, you should make the theme update, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ because this is the surest method in this case.

Might be major caching or CDN issue — weird to see two versions of same resources at end of query string.
Might need to do clean install of theme — which means DELETE old folder and install new one; never ‘over write’ old folder.

I just bought the Newspaper theme from themeforest and the Tagdiv Composer is a required plugin for the theme, so it automatically installed it when I activated the theme. Yet I have no license for the product, or so it says? When I tried downloading a demo with all files included I could use the plugin just fine. So I obviously have a license for it. Please help! the theme pretty much doesn’t work without the Composer plguins.
By the way, I don’t recall I installed that plug-in, did it come as a package with newspaper? Does it mean some of the plug-in available online may not be usable for people who use newspaper for their themes? If that happens again, and it happens to be an important plug-in such as SEO or such, how can we solve the issue to make both work?

I am a newbie. I installed the demo theme of Newspaper on WordPress. I haven’t even created or edited the homepage, no content was added. I realised that this theme was more suitable for my other website. So I uninstalled the theme from my current website. What’s the use if I bought the theme with a lot of enthusiasm and ended up using for 5-10 minutes. ??

Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed.

Hi,
The Adrotate plugin is not officially tested, but all user feedback has been positive regarding it. You can use Adrotate shortcodes in the theme panel ad spots, and they should be displayed with no issues.
Maybe the plugin you are using is not compatible with the theme, or it is not configured properly. If you followed the plugin installation instructions and it is not working, you could try a different method of implementation or plugin.

Those parameters of the server and WordPress are imperative factors in the functionality of the theme and plugins. They are general WordPress configuration elements. Please follow the guide provided above and see if everything is set properly.
Ask your hosting provider to make the changes for you, as they might have a recommended method in this matter.
If there is still a problem, please deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear any installed cache. Then check in the theme panel while saving settings, if there are any errors in the browser console. Press F12 to bring up the inspector window and then open the console tab

Check if there are any errors in this console. The admin ajax process could be blocked by the server, because of the multiple requests that it makes. In this case you can contact the hosting provider and explain this situation or provide a screenshot with the error.
They should be able to fix it if this is happening.

First of all, please ensure if you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest theme’s method in this case. Also, make sure that you are using a valid PHP version on your server if you want to bring best theme results. Please notice that you can use the 7.1 PHP version without the problem but not a newer version than this. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. Clear all the caches and check the results.

I managed to fix the issue but I had to add a little code to style.css The clean install etc did not work, and I also have the latest version of the theme. The code I added is in bold. I would be interested to know the exact cause of the issue.

Just an update, modifying .htaccess didn’t work when following thread.
Problem was relative to absolute path because of a domain name change.
Solution will be to change the absolute to relative path for the font loading, however I will try to change the main wp domain install path and see if it will succeed better.

Yes, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, ensure that you are using the latest theme version in order to achieve best theme results. If you want to achieve good results with the images, you should use HD as quality.
