By default, right after you created the mobile page (fresh new creation), the header/footer is not editable in tagDiv composer. You need to first import the template from the desktop page. Then only you can edit the header/footer (for mobile version).

The steps:

While you are editing the mobile page in tagDiv composer, click the [Manager] or [Website Manager]

then…

[header] > [convert template] > select the template header that is used by the normal page (desktop page)

then…

[footer] > [convert template] > select the template footer that is used by the normal page (footer page)

Then, the header, menu sidebar and footer are all unlocked for editing.

To edit the background image of sidebar menu:
> go to [theme panel] > background > mobile menu/search background > background image

Hi,
The code should work, -> https://i.imgur.com/yfuGnWa.png as I can see in the code source, the code provide by me is not there, therefore is possible to be set in the wrong place or the cache was not clear.
If you ware using the mobile theme plugin with amp, then the code need to be set in theme panel> mobile theme > custom code> css. After that clear all cache and purge the CDN.
Thank you!

The desktop footer can apply the cloud footer template. This can be set at the theme panel.

But for the mobile footer, it seems there is no option to use the footer template.

May I know how to fix this?

The mobile page footer is using the default footer, which I can’t find the place to edit the template for mobile footer.

Hello, as Calin had alerady told me, ans as I answered him, I’ll wait (and pray for a miracle) that this problem will be solved.

But, I think that one question was not answered: Another thing, in the same area: this result shows that a mobile element is loaded in my desktop version. Is there nothing to do to deactivate this, in particular?

As I keep both versions (mobile and desktop) separated, is there a way to stop the theme from loading mobile elements in desktop version?

Hello,

Can you please help me with the below issues please, I am using the demo “Classic Blog Pro”

1. Header not responsive

1a

1b

2. Website title of smaller or mobile size changes to “Classic” instead of being “Success & Motivation”

2

3. The mobile version of the website doesn’t appear to be the responsive version of the desktop site. I do not have “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin installed.

First of all, my apology for my hard language in above post.

Ok, I have found the solution for this. I’m not sure that I have exactly do the right steps, but somehow the problem is solved.

I shared my findings below:

at the [newspaper] > welcome

click, install and activate the recommended plugins
1. tagDiv Mobile Theme
2. Official AMP for WP

then go to [theme panel] > [mobile theme] > [mobile settings] > USE MOBILE THEME FOR
> select “AMP” > save settings

then go to [wordpress menu bar] > users > select and edit your user
at the “Toolbar” > make sure you select “Show Toolbar when viewing site”
at the “AMP Developer Tools” > make sure to enable “Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site”

then you can start editing the mobile page.

in this newspaper theme, editing the main page for desktop pc and mobile are 2 different design

the mobile page requires another separate creation and editing.

therefore the “mobile” edition of the “page” is needed to be created.

there are 2 ways (which I know so far) to create and edit the “mobile” version of page.

==============
1st way:
==============
[wordpress bar] > [pages] > find your page (the home page) and select [edit with TD composer]
in short, edit the page with “TD composer”.

now you hav enter the TD composer editor, at the left panel where you can see “Welcome to tagDiv Composer”, at the top, you should be able to see either [create mobile page] or [edit mobile page].

there, you go, click on that button, you’ll start creating mobile version of the page.

==============
2nd way:
==============
while you have already log in, go to the page (in this case, the home page), at the top center toolbar, at the green button [edit with TagDiv composer], at right side, you will see the option to create or select the mobile page version.

Calin it seems NewsPaper developer teams is not fixed the issue yet even with recent update. Now Dec End 2020 but still the problem is exists which is really disappointed.

I feel its simple code changes in the theme, but I’m not sure why it’s taking so long to fix it.

I’m getting less score because of the issue otherwise my site will be 100% in Accessibility score.

Google is going to start mobile First Indexing from March 2021 so scores are important. If this continues then sure it will affect badly.

I’m using Mobile plugin theme only. FYI

Thanks
Giri

Hi,
When the mobile is display on desktop in most cases the problem is from some plugins, but most of the time from cache plugins. Please make a test, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!

Hi neat, we are sorry for the late answer! We had some few days off https://i.imgur.com/YDj7NHs.png we try to answer to as many topics we can.
As I can see you are using the mobile theme plugin with amp , therefore you need to make new settings for the mobile theme plugin, for example set the ad and amp analytics here https://i.imgur.com/jfrlyAf.png also for the mobile theme menu -> https://i.imgur.com/hNcgiaw.png
The mobile thumbs need to be enable, in theme panel > block settings > thumbs the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes.
If there is still a problem, please let me know!
Thank you for your understating!

Hello!

When you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin, that’s why you can not modify it with TagDiv Composer.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.

Thank you!

Hi,
This is because you are using the mobile theme plugin. This is a different theme only for mobile devices, therefore the menu https://i.imgur.com/MVMuRjc.png need to be set here https://i.imgur.com/3Y1Rn2f.png also if you want to have the same version as on desktop, you can use the mobile theme only for amp, then only on amp you’ll have a different version (this will be different doesn’t matter if is use the mobile theme or not).
Also if you want you can disable the mobile theme plugin and see the responsive version.
Thank you!

Hi winipnews, unfortunately now I no longer have access to see your website https://i.imgur.com/VLxapBz.png
Hi msmesupport, if the mobile view is different then the desktop view, then you are using the mobile theme plugin , what you can do is to display the responsive version for that page -> https://i.imgur.com/TjdjMHx.png or you can set a different content for pages using the mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/0Db9HWt.png or you can simply disable the plugin.
Thank you!

Hello!

If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.

Thank you!

I have a Testsite but mobile Header & Footer looks not like on desktop. Whene I smaller my Desktop-Window it looks good, but if I look it up on mobile (iPhone or Android) it’s not correct. It also shows the Standard-Footer with the copyright of TagDiv. Mobile Plugin of your theme is NOT installed or active. If I check out the Page on Desktop with your TagDiv Composer Phone-Viewport, it also looks good.

Hello!

This situation appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have do not has options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hello !

No, you can have AMP without Mobile Theme. If you want to have the same design on mobile simply remove the mobile theme plugin.

Thank you !

I use a mobile phone to access the website. It appears to be a very primitive state. No components, nothing fancy. a simple very basic page. it’s like newly installed theme without any template.

If I browse it in normal computer, it appears ok with beautiful design.

very buggy….

This is not a good timing to face these bugs. I’m working around the clock (urgent hurry) to deliver a website to a client.

Relevant post example: https://happybarefoot.com/shoe-review-xeroshoes-hfs-minimalist-lightweight-road-running/

When reading a post on a mobile, the menu seems to be empty and also some CSS elements.
I think this is related to the AMP plugin.

On the browser in mobile view:

https://prnt.sc/w96fiu

On mobile:
https://prnt.sc/w96gfn
https://prnt.sc/w96grs

Setting:
AMP plugin, https://prnt.sc/w96h8s
Theme, https://prnt.sc/w96irn

I tried, USE MOBILE THEME FOR Mobile and also Movile + AMP.
But it was even worse.
