Hi,
That is not possible at the moment, unless maybe making modifications in the mobile theme code. From what I know this is added on our list as it has been suggested before, we will try to add more inline ads for desktop and loop ads for mobile in coming updates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
I have updated to Newsmag 4.9.1 on my site wwww.expatessentials.net.
I have activated the tagDiv mobile plug in, but images aren’t showing on the mobile site.https://prnt.sc/olz9rm
Can you please suggest what I need to do to correct this?
Thanks a lot,
Mark
Hi,
I use the Newspaper mobile theme. In the theme panel you can place a shortcode for an ad and let it appear after a certain number of posts (default after 5 posts). I wonder if it is possible to place multiple ads. I’d like to place mobile ads after post number 3 and 5 or even more.
Is this possible?
Hi,
I have just downloaded the new version and I was looking for:
Option to Enable/Disable the Mobile Theme for individual posts and pages
Where is it as I can’t find it?
Thanks
Simone
Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme do not have yet option to can customize it in this way, what you can do is to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer and set the comments and ad box where you want, after that set the single post template on posts and use the option from mobile theme to show the responsive version -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Navigating away from an AMP page or post will display the mobile theme (non-AMP). So regardless of being on the AMP version of a page, beginning to browse the website there will no AMP anymore.
The logo looks quite small for some reason, looks like it has a limited size. Try to enter this code in the mobile theme CSS section
.td-main-menu-logo amp-img img {
min-height: 100%;
}
It may take a while before changes will be seen in Google AMP. You could try this
– https://developers.google.com/amp/cache/update-cache
Regarding the flag switcher it is the same for me. It does not appear in AMP. From what I can find in a topic they mentioned that for AMP it would be better to use this option
– https://prnt.sc/oltxu2 – https://prnt.sc/oltxwk
– https://wpml.org/forums/topic/language-flags-not-showing-on-amp-pages/
Or consider using the language names instead of flags.
Hello !
In order to hide that category you will have to use a custom css code. Please provide a link to your website in order to offer the best solution !
Mobile theme has a different non-editable design. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
Thank you !
Hi,
If you want to set the auto ads on mobile theme, then make sure that you set the both code for auto ads, one of them need to be set between <head></head> tags, the other one can be set there too, or in a mobile ads field
-> https://prnt.sc/olcsgk
-> http://prntscr.com/oltmh9
Also please check this documentation bout Auto ads -> https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7478040?hl=en
Hope this will help!
Thanks!
Hi,
If you want to use AMP auto ads, please enter the auto ads code like this in the theme panel dedicated section – http://prntscr.com/nztn70 and there should be no problem. No need to do or add anything else, just the ad code as mentioned.
In their documentation, they mention adding a script in the head
– https://amp.dev/documentation/components/amp-auto-ads but this is not required, the theme will add it automatically.
If you do not want to use AUto AMp Ads you can add the source ads inside the Mobile Theme Ad files from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xSXfTLpBNDB to specify where exactly you want to display your ads.
Thank you!
How can I put the comments after the end of the post in mobile theme, before related posts? How can I inject ad block after comments before related post.
Hi
Waiting for your tests.
Yes, when I stretch the header, menu items moving to the left, so there’s an annoying gap on the right side.
The language switcher is ok with the mobile theme. But When I enable amp for the home pages, the switcher disappears. Also the logo size gets smaller when amp enabled. Please see the sreenshots..
When you are on the amp version and click the logo to go to home page, it goes to mobile version, not amp.
amp logo: https://pasteboard.co/IqdLRBp.png
amp menu: https://pasteboard.co/IqdM0eH.png
mobile logo: https://pasteboard.co/IqdManI.png
mobile menu: https://pasteboard.co/IqdMiyY.png
UPDATE: AMP Version only shows switcher when we enable LANGUAGE NAME from the switcher options, it does not show the swithcer when selected FLAGS to show them.

Hi,
I tried to translate the mobile theme strings, it’s not working, I can’t say how it should be done. I will make some more tests and get back to you as soon as possible.
Regarding the menu, it depends on the available space. If there are many menu items and there isn’t enough space, they will drop on a second row. In this case you could stretch the header space to a larger width – https://prnt.sc/olh9jp
I have tested the language switcher on my end, I have set it to appear for the menu used by the mobile theme – https://prnt.sc/olhbi5 – https://prnt.sc/olhboo
It appears at the end of the menu on AMP – https://prnt.sc/olhc18 it shouldn’t disappear. Does it appear in the mobile theme without AMP? Please let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme doesn’t have an option to do this. Why exactly do you want it? That would create usability issues for mobile users in my opinion.
If that is what you want to do you could remove this line of code from the header
– https://prnt.sc/olg8fo
This would cause the responsive version to not apply anymore, the website will look exactly as on desktop, on phones.
Let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Usually when the mobile version appear on desktop or vice versa, those are some problem with cache plugin, browser cache, please clear all cache and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Make sure if you have followed the steps from this guide if you want to achieve good theme results.
Also in Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to send us an email, please provide as many details you can and some screenshots and a link where this problems can be found.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
What you can do is to use flex blocks on responsive version of the theme and set those flex blocks on each device layout -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OzVL0rhkNg -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2kQdy6NBZNY
Also in the last version of the theme v9.7.4 if you are using the mobile theme plugin , now you can show the responsive version using the new option https://prnt.sc/oh6r2s
Hope this will help!
Thank you!
At the bottom
https://www.screencast.com/t/s5RnBmYtLVq
I can’t find a clue about it on your guide
I just want to make sure the best setting for the theme
I use both of AMP and mobile theme plugin
Hello !
The mobile theme does not render any shortcodes made with page builders, so you will have to recreate your page in the Mobile Editor at the bottom of your page editor : https://www.screencast.com/t/tvLnK0Ae
You can find out more about the Mobile Theme options here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you !
Hi,
Thank you for the appreciation. Where is that caching setting exactly? All I can find about it is this topic – https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/wiki/Post-Processor-Cache
I really can’t say what it does and if you should activate it or not, if you have this option.
We currently provide a mobile theme + AMP solution – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/ which is all there is to it, install both plugins and activate them, then configure them.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
After you made the changes in theme panel, please make sure that you clear all cache and check again.
Logo & Favicon in Newspaper Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/ -> http://prntscr.com/olcwes -> http://prntscr.com/olcxb4 if you are using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll need to check this section http://prntscr.com/olcxpk
Thank you!
Hello !
Unfortunately this option is not available for the Mobile Theme at this time. We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
Hello !
On mobile theme the sticky options is working in a different way in order to help at page speed. So you will have to slide a bit upwards in order to have the menu.
This option is on our developers to do list.
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Smart List 2 for your post articles and mobile theme functionality. Please note that plugin change the style of the theme on mobile and that’s why you bring another layout than the desktop version. The mobile theme plugin has been designed to be very fast and that’s why the layout is different. Checking your source page, I saw that you are using the Newspaper 9.7.3 which is not the latest version of our theme. In the latest update, was introduced a new option that allows you to turn off the Mobile Theme for a specific page if you do not want to use it on that. I suggest you update the theme to the latest version of it and try to activate this option for that page and then, for this one you will bring the desktop version layout for smart list 2 which looks the same on both devices. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/DISABLE_MOBILE_THEME.png For more details about this option, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

I have three different websites using your newspaper theme. The two that are using WPBakery Page Builder look great on the desktop and on mobile devices. The website that I designed with TD Composer looks awful on mobile devices and certain things are not responsive at all and the text is huge etc. Why is this and how do I fix it.
I do not want to use the mobile theme.
