I’m sorry I can’t provide you the website. It’s in maintenance mode and I only use it as a sandbox. I want to integrate the theme in an online lifestyle magazine website.
I see no errors or something in the console log. No plugins are activated just the mobile theme and amp one. Any other suggestions ?
Best regards
Hi,
Please provide your website URL so I can test it on mobile. Remove all of the untested plugins which might break the theme functionality and causes this problem.
Thank you!
I have used a theme to design a homepage to introduce services, not a news site. The design on the laptop looks great (http://prnt.sc/npbmf1) but the mobile view doesn’t show anything at all (http://prnt.sc/npbmst)?
Can you show me how to fix this?
Hi @Lucas Felix,
I’m sorry hearing this from you! in order to get a better support please create a topic when you have a problem, in this way the answer will be provide for your needs.
If you do not like the mobile theme you can use the responsive version of Newspaper theme ( deactivate the mobile theme ), in this way you’ll have the same content on mobile too.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding!
Hi,
The more article box can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_more_article_box.php also there will be in wp-content/themes/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.js -> https://www.screencast.com/t/V9OmZYQuNNzL also the mobile files can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, please note that the mobile theme has a specific layout for the homepage which cannot be changed from the theme. For more details about mobile theme functionality, please check the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
The issue is if I use mobile ads like general ads, smart list ad, then mobile theme gets broken, if I don’t use ads then it works fine.
Hi Simion,
Thanks for the reply. I understand that using the embed code will enable embedded videos for any future posts, but this puts me in a difficult position.
I want to enable AMP and the mobile theme, but I have 300+ posts, many of which contain embedded videos that will now be broken.
I use mobile theme on Amp for single post and Category. please check It and give me a CCS to hide scroll top. https://www.warnabiru.com/salah-transfer-uang/?amp
So i can make a sticky ad on bottom screen
Hey,
clicking the burgermenu on mobile theme causes a jump to the top of the page. How can i disable or fix this ?
Best regards
Finally, I found the file to change the name of the Featured category to the mobile: /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/td_config.php
Change as needed:
define(“TD_FEATURED_CAT”, “Featured”)
define(“TD_FEATURED_CAT_SLUG”, “featured”)

This is what I was looking for and the team here from the forum could not help me (generic answers only)
Mobile Theme is horrible and probably for that reason I will migrate to another theme. No matter how much you complain here, suggest changes or question the location of the files so you can edit it on your own, developers simply ignore our suggestions and say that’s how it works.
I would like to change the category “Featured” to an already existing category on my site (called “News”). But thema’s support does not help me with this…
All setting on the server is as per the guidelines.
As you can see from the screenshot i posted I have copied the analytics code from the “?” box and inserted our own unique identifier. Still not registering on google analytics for either Mobile or desktop version
We do not have a caching plugin and only one other plug that isn’t part of the newsletter theme, but that is disabled.
The ads are not adsense but from The Moneytizer.
The main code is inserted after the analytics code and the individual ads are inserted in the Theme Panel – Ads section..
Still neither the ads or analytics work
yes but it would be nice to have the “same” options for this mobile theme, because its working great, we just need a little tweaking 🙂
Mobile theme homepage isn’t showing footer and only shows 4 articles with no page 2
Hi,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
If you do not have the featured category, you’ll need to add some posts in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Let me know if you have more questions!
Hello !
You have this kind of display because that is the feature of mobile theme. It display the latest 3 posts from the featured category. If you click on the slager category you will see that there will be 5 posts.
Thank you !
On my desktop theme I have featured category named “slager” I there are 5 articles…
I mirror them to the new featured category for the mobile theme but it only shows three of them… !?
Hi,
I believe you are referring to these settings – http://prntscr.com/npcj5g
If that is the case, please re-download the theme from themeforest and install it. Then deactivate the mobile theme plugin and delete it, and install it again from here
– http://prntscr.com/npcjz5
After doing so the settings should appear. There was an issue previously but it is fixed now. Let me know if the problem remains, or if you have a different problem.
Thanks
Hi,
It will not, if the mobile theme plugin is active. If the mobile theme plugin is active, what is displayed on mobile will be different from desktop. For example the mobile homepage will display a top grid with 3 featured posts (if there are any)
Below that grid will be a latest articles section. The mobile theme is specially created for mobiles, it is faster than the default responsive theme version. Other pages will be empty on mobile, if there is no content entered in the mobile editor for each page
– http://prntscr.com/ng341f
Here you can read more about it – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
The plugin is optional, so if you would like to display the same content from desktop on mobile, you could deactivate it.
Thanks
Hi,
@manojchak I have tested the website with the mobile friendly tool, everything seems to be in order
– http://prntscr.com/npbxag
The mobile theme is active, so such problems should not happen. The mobile plugin is created specially for mobile, with increased performance in mind. It can also be used with the AMP plugin if you want to – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately, the Constant Contact plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.
This is our list with tested plugins with our theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cmPkh9jba4sZ
If you are using mobile theme the content for pages need to be set in mobile editor, or you can deactivate the mobile theme plugin and check again the mobile version.
Thank you for your understanding!
I have added Google analytics code in the theme panelboth under the regular analytics header and also mobile header.
After several days Google Analytics still do not record traffic. Source shows that the analytics code is indeed loading but every 24h Google analytics reminds me that no traffic is being registered
I have also added a 3rd party ad code but no ads are being displayed either. The code is also being displayed by checking the pagesource upon loading of the page..

Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
In order to translate the footers titles you have to go into Theme panel – Translations and search for the titles you want to translate: https://www.screencast.com/t/stiGp5eb
Thank you !
