You can keep testing. From my experience with the tool, the results are inconsistent and vary.
The login can be disabled in the theme panel for desktop and mobile (non mobile theme, that has a separate setting)
Create a separate menu for the mobile theme, arrange the menu items like this in order to have a dropdown

The mobile theme has its own design. If you want your homepage to be the same on desktop and mobile, then deactivate the mobile plugin. After all, the theme is responsive.
Hi there, I seem to be having an issue with the mobile theme. I have it installed, but the styling is not taking affect when I view on mobile. I look at the homepage, and it using the default mobile styling, however if I click on (some) posts or archive pages, it is showing the mobile styles.
Please advise.
Hi,
It’s look like you have the mobile theme set for desktop.
Please try to investigate/clear the cash from host, plugin cash, and try again.
Thank you.
Hi,
I don’t quite understand what you want to do. Indeed when the mobile theme is active the sidebar is not displayed. If the mobile plugin is inactive, the sidebar appears below the main content in posts for example.
Some examples and more details about this would be very helpful, maybe it is possible.
Thanks
Ah that’s a shame. Are you planning on adding a analityics/js code area to the mobile theme because you say for the moment?
Hi,
That is because you use the optional mobile theme plugin. If the mobile plugin is not active, mega-menus will show as a drop down menu. If the mobile plugin is active they will not be converted to drop-down menus.
So you could deactivate the mobile plugin and the mega-menus will be displayed as drop down. Similar to the live theme demo on mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
Pressing the search icon returns javascript errors from what I can see, each press generates the same error
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gFhctdwMKvb8
I tested on mobile, seems that after trying to use the search and pressing the icon a few times, I cannot scroll down, the website freezes.
Usually these conflicts are caused by plugins, theme modifications, code additions to the theme files, through a child theme or in the theme panel.
You could investigate these one at a time, try to remove custom code or scripts, deactivate all plugins except the theme plugins, deactivate the child theme etc.
I solved this with If Menu plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/if-menu/
I make some menu items only display on Mobile device.
But it would be easier if I could just have a Desktop menu and a Mobile menu and then select those in the Newspaper settings. I have had other themes that do this 😉
Hi,
For theme mobile you need to add the code right in theme file, go in Appearance> Editor in the file go in mobile> header https://www.screencast.com/t/uodLodoGSBb
Thank you.
Hi,
The mega-menu will not appear on mobile, same as in the live theme demo if you check with a mobile phone
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Mega-menus with sub-categories will be displayed as a simple drop-down menu on mobile. The functionality of the menus will be different on mobile than on desktop.
Thanks
Hi there,
I need to add this code on every page just before the body tag.
<script async defer src="https://widget.getyourguide.com/v2/widget.js"></script>
I placed the code in the theme panel analytics/js code. That works for the desktop, but not for the mobile theme. Where do I place the code for the mobile version of the website?
Hello jonathan24,
Notice that our theme has the Smart Sidebar functionality as you can read in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ Regarding the mobile version, we do not have any such an option for smooth scroll, sorry! At the mobile version, the Sidebar does not exist.
Thanks for your understanding!
No need to activate the mobile theme. I tested the code again, seems to work
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jqf03wKq3BO
However it would be best to provide a link to your website so I can test there, for a more accurate solution.
Also mention if the solution would be in the right direction, or you are looking for something else.
The header ad that is set up is perfect for desktop and mobile, is there a way to clone this code and put it somewhere else? Whenever I try to set up google adsense (above menu), it outputs a 300×300 ad instead of one that resembles Theme Panel > Header Ad.
Hi,
If the website resources are loading slow sometimes, or are blocked for some reason (by a robots file for example), there will be warnings or the page in question will be declared not mobile friendly
– https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6352293?utm_source=search_console&utm_campaign=sc-mft-test
I tested a few of your posts with the Google mobile tool, they seem to be mobile friendly from what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3UOoevw6
I have seen in the past inconclusive results from this tool, testing the same post a few times provided different results.
The login you are referring to would be the one from the mobile menu
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qHjbdpEm0nI
If the login option is enabled in the theme panel, there will be a login displayed in mobile as well.
Hello,
I changed logo images. I changed header styles, but I cannot see the change. I even deleted the browsing history, tried another browser, no change. But when I go into theme settings, I can see that I changed logo image….
Also I put a different Footer logo in footer info content section. Now, on mobile phone main logo on the top of my site is Footer logo! I dont want footer logo to be on top of my site on mobile version.
What is going on?
Hi,
Suddenly we are facing this problem on the mobile theme, it appears randomly. The template goes out of sync and probably a script is not loading.
See images attached. website: http://www.gadgetbridge.com

but i mobile I found style.css in mobile folder
I make it rtl
but I don’t see any changes 🙁
would you please only advice me what was problem?
ah btw….
do i need to activated the mobile theme first?
i am not activated the mobile theme for now, since the responsive theme already made it possible to responsive on every mobile devices.
Thanks 🙂
This – https://prnt.sc/l78250 will work only if you don’t use the mobile theme. There you are editing a page with the composer, composer content is not displayed on mobile if you use the mobile plugin.
So you can design a page, use these settings – https://prnt.sc/l78250 but this page will not be displayed on mobile if the mobile theme plugin is active.
If I misunderstand something, please correct me.
Hello, I run 7 different sites using Yours amazing theme. Great work guys, really.
I have a problem regarding AMP. I wanted to set it up on https://jotem.in I did everything like You wrote on FAQ. I cannot see it working using mobile/dev tools. I thought that this is related to WP Super Cache. I disabled it for tests. I received message form Google few days later, that i should fix problems with AMP and it has pointed to 470 posts so far. I dont know what is wrong and why it is not working.
Google says:
– Non standard JavaScript which is forbidden
– There is no mandatory “amp-custom” tag
– Wrong href attribute in CSS
– Wrong Div tag in JavaScript “amp-auto-ads extension .js script”
and much more
Hi,
Please be notice that if you are using mobile theme you need to add the ads in mobile ads ( https://www.screencast.com/t/vdxXdsmtGf ).
Thank you for your understanding.
