It could be enabled if necessary with a code, but only when the mobile theme plugin is deactivated. Try the solution from this topic and see if it works for you
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/top-bar-with-esencial-links/
If it does not, please provide a link to your website and we will try a different one.
Hi,
The mobile homepage will display a top grid containing three featured posts, then a latest articles section. The top grid will only displayed posts that are included in the Featured category, so make sure you have added posts to it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
More about the mobile theme plugin functionality here

Thanks
1/2. I believe you have set a white background color and white icon color in the mobile theme settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Bsfww9rG
If you want a white menu background color, change the icon colors to a different color so they will be visible.
3. You could reduce the mobile menu modal with custom code, there is no setting specific for that. There is a solution in this topic if you want to try
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/use-mobile-top-bar-and-menu-on-all-page-sizes/
In the current version the ad disable option is working, I couldn’t say if that was an issue in version 8, I don’t remember exactly. There shouldn’t have been any problems. The ads can be disabled in the theme panel per device, that option should work as intended
– https://www.screencast.com/t/akSmi8c7xwZ
The theme will automatically adjust the ads and display desktop ads and ads for mobile devices.
Those options are helpful for Adsense ads, if other ads are used a different method is available
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
If you use the mobile theme plugin, this has options to use different ad codes.
That worked! Thank you! We had to add to both Mobile and Deskto custom css.
For those reading this thread, here is what worked for us:
“Please check all of the embed codes. As an alternative, add this css code in your theme panel- custom css box to make sure the position stays relatve:”
.instagram-media{
position:relative!important;
}

https://www.screencast.com/t/gm1LYKu0hfb
How do I get this Layout in my landing page ????
Thank you so much in advance for your help
Dan
You can use it if you wish, please see this guide for more information about how the mobile theme plugin works
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Basically you will have to create 2 versions of the same page, one for desktop as you wish, and one for mobile, but only through the mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wYX0iQ98ZwY
Content built with the composers will not be displayed on mobile pages. The default responsive version will do that, not the mobile plugin.
Thanks
hi. i had this problem in 8.0, hoped it might be fixed by upgrading to 8.7 but it is still appearing.
the flags to turn on and off adverts by device type are not working.
so for example when i want to turn off a video ad on not to be seen on mobile, it still appears (though obviously on google will not display so just appears broken).
also, how do i display one ad type on mobile and another on desktop? the only way i could figure would be to use the custom slots, but would that clash if i was using one custom position switched to mobile only, in the same location as a fixed position set to mobile off?
Add me as another one with same error.
Would appreciate it if the theme did default to AMP when mobile viewing.
Hi,
I have inspected the website, at the moment everything seems to work properly
1. The menu is present – https://www.screencast.com/t/sL8Pt9hvKC
– https://www.screencast.com/t/En0ueYpFn0
2. That cannot be done, it will lead to a 404 page if you do so, that URL does not exist. The “#” is a link placeholder with properties used by the theme for the mobile menu and search icons.
3. I believe that is the footer, there are options to set a background color in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sR0Dllwf
The footer can be disabled in the theme panel for desktop. It will not be displayed on mobile as well.
4. I could give you a code to remove the footer on mobile while displaying it on desktop, if that is what you want. Something like this code entered in Theme panel->Custom code->Advanced CSS in the phones section
.td-footer-wrapper {
display: none;
}
Please let me know if I misunderstood something or you have more questions.
Thanks
I have added the mobile theme but no menu appears, even though I have selected it in theme settings.
I recently updated the theme and enabled the AMP plugin. Yesterday, I got this message on Google Console: “Google systems have detected that some of your AMP pages do not meet our guidelines; therefore these pages are not eligible for AMP-related features in Google Search. The Accelerated Mobile Pages report lists some of these pages”.
See this screenshot: https://ibb.co/btgyLx
And this is AMP test and Google shows this error: https://ibb.co/m5Wtnc
In “Accelerated Mobile Pages > Invalid CSS stylesheet (Critical issue)” it says:
“Fix your stylesheet errors to conform to AMP standards. AMP pages with invalid CSS stylesheets may appear in Google search results without AMP-specific display features.”
This is my site: https://www.tufitech.com
It’s seems like you guys placed “!important” property in AMP CSS, which is apparently not allowed for AMP. What is going on? Please help!
Thank you!
Hello, I would like to know if it was possible to change a little the theme of the mobile version please? Like changing the color of the background for example? Also know if I could change the number of items listed a little lower in my homepage below (DERNIERS ARTICLES) because I think there are many. In advance thank you for your help.
(Sorry for my english, i am french)
Hi her guys again.
i have installed your theme a couple of days ago and suddenly my Google Search console shows a pick of 404 errors in mobile and desktop areas because it seems that a lot of url from a demo content was in the sitemap. A few examples:
https://howpple.com/lifestyle/travel/?filter_by=featured
https://howpple.com/homepage-fashion/page/4/
https://howpple.com/homepage-newspaper/page/4/
As you can see it looks like I got multiple (143 new ones) 404 error because if this.
Is there anything I can do to solve it?
Hi,
My problems –> https://prnt.sc/iiqk1v
1. There is MENU button ??
2. How to change the name to be sportodiena.lt/m/
3. How to change the color of this place
https://prnt.sc/iiqlvs
1. How to turn off the footer at the bottom of the mobile version and leave it as a web version?
Sorry for the confusion. The mobile theme is what I am referring to: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/mobile-theme/
Do we buy this seperately? If we buy it do we have to post twice, once to web and once to Mobile, or is it just once off set up? It is a little confusing to me how it works?
Hello acwadministrator,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any extra add-on tested with it, sorry! You should use the mobile theme because this is the theme concept for mobile devices. If you want to buy some add-on for mobile, notice that you are free to do this but we cannot assure if this will work as expected, with the theme, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Indeed that setting is only for desktop, on mobile you could only remove it with CSS if needed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/64xok4pWhdv
.header-search-wrap {
display:none;
}
This code can be entered in Theme panel->Advanced CSS phones section when not using the mobile theme. If the mobile theme is used this is the code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ORVGCy6377K
.td-search-icon {
display:none;
}
This can be entered in The Mobile theme Custom code section in then theme panel.
Thanks
Hi Catalin, I mean the mobile theme version/option you offer for an extra fee.
i am using the mobile theme and in the menu all the right categories are displayed but they lad to pages with no posts. Please see noradaylive.com. On desktop the list of posts shows (no pictures) but with mobile zero posts how.
Please advise. Thanks.
Hello,
I am getting the following error :
“Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 1 new Accelerated Mobile Pages related issue. This means that Accelerated Mobile Pages may be negatively affected in Google Search results. We encourage you to fix this issue.
New issue found:
The tag ‘FORM [method=GET]’ requires including the ‘amp-form’ extension JavaScript.”
This is after I included the newsletter block on my website, after the latest theme update.
Please get back to me on this so that I can make the fix.
Thank you!
I figured it out. I went through my custom code one by one and found out it was this code .single .td_block_wrap that I had set to ‘hidden’ in mobile devices but I’m not sure what element of the theme I was trying to hide.
Indeed the images are not displaying on mobile. Usually in similar cases this issue was caused by plugin conflicts. If it is possible try to go into the plugins section and deactivate all plugins, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
These conflicts cause the lazyload theme feature to not function properly, try as well to deactivate it from the theme panel

Recently installed and configured the Newspaper theme on my site http://www.outofmytreegenealogy.com/. The desktop version seems fine, however all of the images are missing on mobile. I’ve regenerated images and even created a brand new post but the images are still missing on mobile. I haven’t tried installing the mobile plugin yet but as I understand it, the theme should still work and be responsive without it. What am I missing?
A Whatsapp share looks like this for me
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Qrjg5dVllK
There is a space between the title and actual link, but I don’t know how you could edit how the share is displayed on mobile visually, through the theme.
