Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
No, you do not need a plugin to redirect to the homepage; this will automatically change, but please make sure that you have a cache plugin with the support alos mobile versions.
Thank you!
Hello,
1. Using the mobile theme plugin the mobile version will no longer be the same – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ if you need the same layout you can use the responsive version or the mobile page – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
For pages speed what I can recommend is to have the last theme version, use the responsive version, with CDN with rocket and also make sure that you have the last theme version and you are using those options – https://i.imgur.com/73DZLL2.png –
2. For this you can use the mobile theme and amp and set the mobile theme only for amp – https://i.imgur.com/SEpWmz2.jpg – https://i.imgur.com/ClbZ3Ay.png (using tagDiv Composer you can disable the desktop header on mobile and the mobile on desktop).
Thank you!
Hello,
1. Most of the time this is because the mobile content takes to long to loading and the page is to big and it needs to be smaller, what can be done is to use the mobile theme plugin, but the mobile version will no longer be the same as the desktop, or you can use the mobile page template, this is usually a copy of desktop version and it is edited to have small images and compress content so you can have a smaller mobile page.
2. I checked the screenshot and related to this you are using the mobile theme plugin, when this is used the mobile layout is simplified and is no longer longer related to the desktop version.
If you want to have the desktop version on mobile then you’ll need to disable the mobile theme plugin.
Also, for page speed what I can recommend is to make sure you have the last theme version and you are using those options – https://i.imgur.com/kR0SKAV.png – https://i.imgur.com/NwJkkqL.png – https://i.imgur.com/L7nijex.png (using tagDiv Composer check the header zone and disable it from mobile and desktop this will help wit the pagespped), also please use a CDN and a good cache plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
can you please explain me, or refer to an article explaining clearly the difference between the “Edit Mobile Page” and “Mobile Theme Plugin” ?
Especially I have the following question:
– As far as I have understood the “Mobile site” generated by the “Mobile Theme Plugin” have a FIXED LAYOUT and CANNOT BE CUSTOMISED, Correct?
– Can I create a custom mobile page that can be customised with the module that I choose, without using the Mobile Theme Plugin?
– If yes, can you please, explain how relate the full web site and the “Edit Mobile Page” from the edit site and how properly create one, I have made same test, but I get erratic result, and sometime the website use the full page, sometime the mobile page that I created is used by the desktop one, and I cannot get how to properly use, the mobile page.
– After I edit the “mobile page” and I save, the standard page edit module appear, and ask to save the page, and the page is saved with the address: mydomain.com/mobile
Do I Need to be added a plugin that will redirect the home page visitors to this address in case of mobile user?
Thank you very much
Hello,
We have made a page that works well enough, Tendences.lv We use the WPRocket cache plugin, the loading speed is normal on desktop. We now want to adjust various things for the mobile version, as well to improve the appearance and speed of the mobile version.
Questions:
1. How to correctly install tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin so that the mobile version after instalation displays the page as it is displayed right now, so that existing users can use it. After the mobile version can be slowly changed in design.
2. Are plugins Official AMP for WP compatible with WP Rocket, and please tell me best way how to introduce it in our page.
Please send me a good example of a Newspaper page showcase using tagDiv Mobile Theme and Official AMP for WP, so I can have a look and test the speeds and how the designs have been changed for the Desktop and Mobile versions.
Thank you

Hello,
is there a way to display all category siblings in the mobile theme?
On my iPhone 13mini I just see 3 siblings, but there are four: https://rauf-und-davon.at/tourenberichte/
All the best and thanks,
Daniel
I have a header customized for desktop and mobile, but a want diferent sections on mobile without using the mobile theme. When I create a mobile home page, even when i click yes to copy the content, the header and footer are not applied and says that a have to use a cloud template and I didn’t find any way to achieve this. At the cloud library thers’s only one header template applied globally
Hi,
The mobile theme is a custom theme and for the mobile theme you can set only one menu.
Thank you!
Hello Betty!
You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hi
I have a tested clean site to test things, so I installed pulse pro and check its header and how its menu is working flawlessly in mobile and desktop being sticky. I am trying to find replicate this in a production site, but there is no evidence (no row, no inner, no element, no theme panel) where sticky is checked for default template of pulse pro demo site.
So my question is, where is this sticky checked option?
Best regards
Dear Team,
I am trying to find the right place to edit the mobile footer on my page Mundgefuehl.
TagDiv composer tells me that I should use a cloud template, but I do not have a separate mobile footer template installed. In the Newspaper Theme panel I see only the reference to the Rimont footer template, but this gives me only the desktop version and not mobile.
Many thanks for your support
Betty
hmmm can you explain how your mobile theme work if this is impossible?
Hello,
Did you disable the mobile theme for homepage?
Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please let me know what plugin for the cache you use now.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
I’m trying to get the Mobile Theme set up on my website (www.frontporchrepublic.com), and it works well if I’m logged into WordPress. For everyone else, though, it doesn’t show up.

@Anamaria:
I had to do a manual website restoration to get old theme panel settings, copy/paste them, then restore again and paste the theme panel settings there to return the website to how it was. The problem is, the mobile version is still broken even after restoring a Theme Panel backup. My mobile templates don’t look like the ones I had before even after a complete restore.
@Being smart:
And anyone with same issue, go to Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Import/Export and restore one of the backups under “Theme Panel Settings Backup”. Just make sure if the website breaks not to do any tagdiv changes, or those 5 exports will be overwritten, in that case you will have to rollback an old backup of the entire website to get the old exports.
