Hello twoems,
I suppose that you want to increase the font-size for your paragraphs on mobile mode, right? So, if oyu want to do this, you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-post-content p, .mce-content-body p, .comment-content p {
font-size: 23px!important;
}
}
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello MESOTU,
Meanwhile, the theme was made other changes in code, and the above solution does not work, sorry! Please notice that the theme has a very complex code and this is not a simple task for adding a new custom menu for mobile, sorry! Notice that we have introduced the Mobile theme which allows you to add a new custom menu for mobile devices and this can be the solution for your request. For more information about our Mobile Theme Concept, please check our useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your understanding!

I am setting up the Newspaper theme in order to update the theme of my site. This is being done in development subdomain off the main site. I am unable to get the mobile theme to work. On the mobile page, I get the message “The mobile theme path couldn’t be set…..”
I have read the forums about the problem. I have turned of all the plugins and cleared the cache but the mobile site will still not work. Do you have any ideas of how to proceed next?
I am using Newspaper 7.7.1
thanks,
John
Hello !
The mobile theme is great, so I would like to make an identical mobile application.
My goal is that the website (mobile theme) be the same in an application.
Do you know if this is possible? Do you have tips to do it easily?
Hi,
1. I am not sure I fully understand what you mean. Here you can see all the available blocks in the theme – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-15/ in different layout settings. If the mobile theme is not used, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile. This is how block 15 looks on 1 column – https://www.screencast.com/t/wRyjnCqm – https://www.screencast.com/t/Qa1JZkKqg and on 2 columns – https://www.screencast.com/t/lmZuafZx – https://www.screencast.com/t/vAhlmqIF This is how the blocks are designed and how the theme responsiveness works, depending on the page structure in Visual composer. It would not be an easy task to change how the blocks are displayed, and multiple elements have to be taken in account.
2. If you mean the “About Us” and “Follow Us” here – https://www.screencast.com/t/cnTwkha5gVzD you can do it like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/XSjEtHdW in Theme panel->Translations
3. You could use some css for this, to modify the font size on the module title on the slider – https://www.screencast.com/t/8ICa7ynf3ADL This is the code used in the example
@media (max-width: 500px) {
.iosSlider-col-3 .entry-title.td-module-title {
font-size: 12px;
}}
Thanks

Hi,
I do not see any problems with the link you provided – https://www.screencast.com/t/EJZ6dDeNzHAg on mobile at the moment, or with loading speed – https://www.screencast.com/t/T1w3RHWW If you want to use the mobile theme, please read this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ to find out more about this plugin. Also here is a tutorial about improving page speed – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and configuring the cache – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ but please note that page speed can be affected by many factors, like plugins for example, which could have a negative impact on performance.
Thanks
Hi,
There is no option to have a different logo when you have a sticky menu. It seems you are using almost the same colors for the logo and the header menu background. What you can do using the available theme options, would be to remove the logo on the menu in this situation like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/AnUhnhJ1FV or to use the mobile logo (a different one) – https://www.screencast.com/t/SB65bbbfn
Thanks
Hello There
I have problems with the performance and also mobile view.
The mobile view is trouble because if you open this link on a mobile device http://astrologjalemuratoglu.com/danismanlik/ you can see that the mobile view doesnt show the site except a menu point. I can`t avoid this and have this also on some pages as well.
About the site performance ; it opens very slow. is it a problem from my side our can i adjust anything on the theme ?
Thanks and Regards
Hamdi
Hi,
If you want the article like/tweet to show on the article page you will have to deactivate the mobile theme plugin, and use the responsive default capability instead. And also have this option enabled in Theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/pPDniQsRtWiX These are the features and capabilities of the mobile theme at the moment, if you choose to use it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hello,
But on your demo on mobile theme, button is clearly visible. So why i dont have it ?
I again update the mobile theme plugin, and its not displayed.
Thanks.
Hello,
You are probably using the mobile theme plugin. This means you will have to use the second editor (mobile editor) to add content for your mobile version of the theme. If using the mobile theme plugin , you need to create 2 versions of your pages as this guide explains: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-menu-socials-wrap{
display:none!important;
}
}
This will remove the social icons from the mobile menu.
Thank you!
Hello Catalin,
Following your last message :
– We updated our theme with the newest version via FTP
– We disabled all our untested plugings
– We cleared all our caches
On the link your are showing and other mobile screens simulator the pictures are showing but on our real mobile phones they are not. We asked several persons to test it for us and it still isn’t working.
We tried to upload a new article showing new photos and they are still not showing, except for one only :
http://www.traveleaters.com/road-trip-dans-le-northland-nos-decouvertes-gourmandes/
We looked everywhere and couldn’t find a way why this particular photo was showing and not the other. This is really an issue for our website.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Hello. All pages in “Newspaper Mobile” look blank. Could you help?
Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme cannot be overwritten in the child theme, if you want to make modifications to it you will have to make them directly in the theme files. The mobile theme was designed to be as light as possible in regards of performance. You can find all the available documentation about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Thanks. Worked like a charm.
unfortunately it seems that the mobile theme doesn’t support a child theme, right?
Hi,
That is the way the mobile theme is designed. It displays posts from the featured category. Here is where this implementation is made – https://www.screencast.com/t/fsxzBb9s You could probably add a category id like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/JX6JmneOxBK and insert a category id, so it should display featured posts from that category only, and also change the sorting but this is not tested properly and it could provide unexpected results.
Please correct me if I misunderstood what you wanted.
Thanks
At the landing page first there are 3 “highlighte
It’s seems to be necessary for the first 3 news that the featured category really named “Featured posts”. Otherwise it displays normal articles. Where can I change this, beacause my “Featured posts” category has another name…
UPDATE: As I know at this point it has exactly called “Featured”
Hi,
I see that you have managed to find the answer – https://www.screencast.com/t/4uADOLUufq When using the mobile theme plugin you must use the mobile editor to add content to the pages – https://www.screencast.com/t/RNKpH0yV you can find more information regarding the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi
I have a problem when using the mobile version of the Newspaper theme. When I try to open a page on my website, for example => http://www.sebatin.com/privacy
I just saw the title without content. I want to ask, how to solve the problem on my website?
Thank you
Hello bemibel,
If you want to manage the title length for your Related Posts for each post, yo should check your Theme panel and change the title length from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KHxq0dbXWeSz
If you want to display on mobile mode the sharing buttons, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusom CSS area.
The code is ->
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-with-like .td-social-but-text, .td-with-like .td-post-share-title{
display:block!important;
}
}
Thanks.
Hello stax,
Please notice that Facebook Like button do not appear for Mobile Theme because it was designed so this plugin, sorry! If you want to modify it, you should edit the theme core files and add what type of element you want to display. It is not a simple task, and if you are not aware of this task, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Why i dont see anymore like button for facebook and twitter on mobile theme ?
