Hi,
I don’t think I understand what is the problem. You can insert the ad code for the website in the respective field you want them to appear, and then control the size accordingly – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ or just leave them on Auto and they will be automatically resized by the theme. For the mobile theme ad codes must be inserted in the mobile theme section as specified here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hello KM,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do how you want to make, sorry! Notice that you will have two possibilities in this regard-> using the mobile theme or using the default mobile responsiveness theme.
Notice that as you want to do, is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide this type of custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
sorry for being unclear.
1) I have a website without the mobile theme on, so when I go to the website on my phone I’ll get the normal responsive theme.
2) I would like to be able to have a link to my website that would open the mobile theme instead of the standard responsive theme
3) when I am in the mobile version, all link should be opened inside the mobile version (using the mobile theme) as well
Now, I’m not really set on the method to do so, I was just thinking maybe it could be done with a parameter but it does not really matter.
Optimization was made overall but it depends on your install and speed optimization as well as the image you add to your mobile menu (larger images result in slower loading). Another known issue on the menu is firefox. It loads slow over firefox. It is the way firefox handles this type of animations that makes it slower loading.
Try to test it against our demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ as in the demo we have not yet updated the theme version.
Thank you!
Hi. I have a question in regards to the Smart List when viewed on a mobile phone–the text trails off the screen. I tried a few different Smart List Post Settings–Smart List 1,2,3 and 4. Smart List 4 seems to work the best because only links trail off the page, not large sections of text. The other Smart Lists would cause large sections of text to trail off the page or get jumbled up. Is there a way to fix this? Here’s a link to the page: https://civiliansgi.com/index.php/2017/03/15/education/
Thank you!
Catalin, Bogdan B, thank you so much!
Really, im forget about mobile theme box =)
Hello,
What slider are you referring to? Is it a revolution slider? For this you must update the mobile theme plugin by disabling and deleting the one you currently have installed and installing the new one found in the main theme package along with the theme.
Then you have to place the revolution slider shortcode in the mobile editor on pages: https://www.screencast.com/t/oiBUwwFO
Thank you!
It is the same on all menu items. The code works: https://www.screencast.com/t/0xeQecXdy7h and https://www.screencast.com/t/InFwdFiEyrId
You are not adding the custom css in the correct code box however. You use the mobile theme. the code must go into the mobile theme custom css not the main theme custom css: https://www.screencast.com/t/DXOlO1JlekK5
That was the missing link to this problem :).
Thank you!
After some further analysis I am getting this bad boy:
“wp booster error:

Even with this error I cannot really track the issue, really hoping that you can help me out with this.
Best,
Alex
Hello all,
I need the websites for more investigations if you want to receive a more accurate response. However, I guess that your Ads are not responsive and that’s why, on the mobile viewport, where the screen width is smaller than desktop you bring unresponsive effect. It seems to have a fixed width which caused this behavior. Try to check your custom code and exclude any code that might affect the width of the theme. If you need more assistance in this regard, you should provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Simion,
Thanks for you response! I had previously verified that plugins were not the problem. A fresh and clean theme install solved the problem. Some code from my previous theme was still in functions.php. When removed, the mobile site started working.

Hi
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qm1e0g4m4nb7we9/Screenshot%202017-03-21%2010.53.24.png?dl=0
The sidebar from our site has gone, you can see from the screenshot the content is loaded but the sidebar doesn’t appear like it used to. Its set up on visual composer as a sidebar not on the main settings. The page is now full width and its just not loading.
Any ideas? Its the latest version of the theme and wordpress.

Hi Catalin,
Most appreciated. It actually looks pretty easy and is similar to what I did on my old coding, but for some reason it’s breaking the theme. Here are screen shots of the coding I did:
menu-mobile.php – http://www.screencast.com/t/UB4W9lUgl11k
td_menu.php – http://www.screencast.com/t/9Wn8b6yB
I thought it looked the same as your examples, but perhaps I’m missing something obvious in plain view 🙂 Are there any other changes I need to make that perhaps I’m overlooking?
Would welcome any suggestions.
Cheers 🙂
Hello ricWhittakerJr,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you want to achieve. Provide your website URL and also, more useful screenshots where you want to explain what you want to do. If you want to edit/or add some classes into the style CSS for mobile theme, you should edit the style.css from mobile section, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CCshI8zmL
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile login cannot be edited from the theme panel. It is hard-coded and can be found in this file: https://www.screencast.com/t/wJ7AD9IA
Thank you!
Hello,
The theme already has a built-in function to grab the icon added here: https://www.screencast.com/t/K4mXP7ZU9aa4 when a user adds the site to their homescreen. You can do that on any mobile browser and the theme will grab the icon to place it on the phone as an ‘app’. This however is a user choice as the user has to add the site to his/hers homescreen. You cannot do that automatically.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have inspected your site but I do not see any problems at the moment – https://www.screencast.com/t/ANVvK9db If Please make sure that you have updated the plugins that are provided wit the theme, in the theme package, to the latest version. If the problem occurs again, try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and the mobile theme, clear the cache, verify any code entered in the theme panel or added to the theme files, then check to see if the problem remains.
Thanks
Today i just lose logo on wesite also on a mobile theme, than main banners , backgrounds etc , everything it was just empty i also saw that i need to put activation code on dashboard for theme which i put before when u bought theme.. what can be problem?
is it way to return that jow it was?
thanks
I have added an image and gave it a custom Class “eww_profileImage”. I then added the following custom CSS in the Mobile Theme settings in the Theme Panel.
eww_profileImage {
border-radius: 150px;
}
To be clear this is the custom code in the Mobile Theme tab not the Custom code for the site which I am aware there is a difference.
I click save from the Theme Panel, I cleared my cache, I reloaded the page on my mobile phone and nothing changed… I loaded this on my desktop browser and made turned on the mobile option in the dev tools so that the mobile site would load. I then confirmed that the image did have the class showing but the custom CSS is nowhere to be found. Could you please let me know if I am not doing something correctly?
Thanks,
Hello wash,
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problems with your mobile menu on the desktop version. This type of errors happens due to your memory cache or server cache. Try to clear all of this and also, if you are using some untested plugins, disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
It depends on how you implemented the custom link. If you added it as a menu item then simply use the wordpress menus section. If you use the mobile theme you also have to add it to the mobile menu. If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, the menu is the same one on all devices.
Thank you!
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for your response. I’m able to do my own custom coding but would just need to know from you which files and code I would need to modify. Clearly there are more files in play now than just the menu-mobile.php and td_menu.php. Would welcome any info you can provide.
The mobile theme doesn’t really help me since I’m not just displaying articles on the front page.
According to your theme information:
“Homepage – the “Mobile Theme” comes with a single predefined page template that includes two section:
top grid – displays 3 featured posts (posts included in the Featured category)
latest articles – displays the latest articles
If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme, the main theme is already capable of this with it’s responsive design for mobiles.”
The latter is what I’m currently doing, so unfortunately the mobile would not meet my needs.
Cheers 🙂

Hello, I have installed Newspaper in http://www.lavozdelviso.com and, since last week, when I entered the web on any device, it always load the mobile version instead of the desktop, what can it be?
Hello Vadiraj Prasad,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the autotomize plugin, right? Also, I have notice that you have some js errors and warnings through your Console which can cause this issue with your logo bar on mobile. Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile theme is fully compatible and tested properly with the theme so it should work without any problems. Try removing and installing the mobile theme plugin, while deactivating all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme (very important) to rule out any interference. If this does not work you could make a fresh theme install – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and check again. Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
